that was a tricky one ... we had to read the description several times to make really sense of it .. but in the end we saw that "thing" which quite obviously didn't belong here .. even when I had it in my hands I had to look twice
Up this way with ABCDF4 for a few daysSo to the CO for making our time away enjoyable
Big changes here with the new road being built and the camp ground gone... decided to come down to this old haunt just for a few geos. A tricky wee hide was this one. I went straight to it but.... Thank you for placing them.
Easy find for the kids today, some good G-2 camo! Log was wet but still signable. Tftf
Unable to find. Looks like campground has been turned into a construction site and is all locked from 01/05/24Also no spiky tree this side of the fence
**20,954**Some very clever camo from Piggy's workshop, well worth another favourite point. Thankfully Mr Geckoh had his caching eye in and found the cache quite quickly. TFTC
A rather clever cache , almost missed the tube . Taking photos - fav point Tftc
Just arrived at the motorcamp and wandered out to do some caching. A quick find and cool camo. TFTC
Walking the Okura Bush walkway today with Vistra from Stillwater to Ara Weiti and spotted this unfound cache across the road. A quick find GZ. TFTC!
Out with TheLandGirl today to walk the Okura Bush walkway from Stillwater to Ara Weiti and noticed this unfound cache across the road. Soon spotted the well camoed cache at GZ and had to rotate it a few times before spotting the access point for the log. TFTC!
I stayed in the hall last night in the holiday park here after a fun afternoon at the boat club. Back to walking the TA now, but first this cache which is bang on the 557km mark. Took only moments to zero in on the hide but it took me a little longer to find the cache. Eventually the penny dropped and I soon had my name in the log. Thanks to G-2 for hiding one here good ro get a smiley in stillwater to remind me of the visit. Cheers!-- This log is trackable ! ---- Feel free to discover ---- Please mention, in which cache you've seen this code: ---- 3TABQX --
Was sure I had the cache in my hand but couldn't work out to open it until the slug fell off.
Good work on the camo here thanks G-2....
We stopped here for lunch so luckily the weather was ok.

It was so nice to finally see the sun after all the torrential rain we’ve had so a perfect day to get out for a few caches. Nice camo on this one so gets a FP from me.
As I found a safe car park, and locked the car, the other 3 rushed across the road and soon located the very well camoed cache!
Brilliant work here Glyn!
Absolutely love it.
Best one of the caches we have found today....
Definitely deserves a Favourite Point.
After this, we decided it was a great place to have our lunch, and luckily there was a vacant clean table and chair set right there!
Thanks so much for these new caches G-2 ☆☆☆☆☆

A Mother’s Day caching with Supernannny, Net61 and Merlot 58 on a mild Autumnal day. We parked across the road and made our way to gz. The well camouflaged cache was soon spotted by MrsJag who passed it to one of the other ladies. Took to find the log. Love these caches and so a FP awarded.
We stopped for lunch at one of the picnic tables in the park across the road from gz. Great to see the park being well used today. TFTC

I am out and about for a spot of cache detection this afternoon. After a first to find in Browns Bay and an ad lab in Long bay, among others, I headed out Stillwater way for the six newly published caches out this way. I parked up in the parking area on the other side of the street and crossed over to access ground zero. I searched ground zero for a short while before spotting something of interest. I recall seeing this at a recent event so soon had the log sheet signed. A nice example of camo here; favourite point applied. Right, its time to hit the road back to Lostcourse cottage. Cheers for the cache placement!
Used to have a family caravan at the campground so an area I know quite well. No one around today and the helpful hints made for a quick interesting find. Another great camo from the workshop. Thanks
Found it thanks to a hint. Nice workshop G-2!
Replaced as per instructions.
Found it during a little adventure on my day off to grab 10 hides to obtain Wheel of Challenges: Seeking Smileys souvenirs (Medium level)

After hearing alot of thunder and a fall on the rocks we decided to head back to the car. Still no rain yet and not too badly hurt. Some very wet and muddy shoes but we decided to grab a few more caches. Made our way to the GZ and found this nicely cameoed cache.
Was meant to come down here yesterday. Don't get notifications for Auckland so didn't notice these till last night. Lol. So today's plan was to start here. Never been here before. A nice peaceful place. No problem finding cache. Nicely done. From here on was sort of a plan but some of it was spontaneous. Had a great geocaching day. Tftc.
I have been here before and amazingly I got {FTF} then as well in 2018, probably the last time I was here. Didn't worry too much about the description on this occasion, but went straight to the cache!
Can you imagine my surprise when I saw the cache? Have seen this very recently at the C.O's event but never got to have a play with it - until now! Classic stuff from this C.O, thanks G for the last of the {FTF}'s for today. A FP from me for your effort on this one. Very cool.
