I had a rare outing to town with one half of The Roadies today and she offered to introduce me to this series of puzzle caches as we made our way home. RoadieM had described the puzzles to me when she had tackled them some time ago and I was most intrigued. We made our way to GZ and made the find quickly. Now the fun began. My confidence was high as I had a competent helper, so I sorted the puzzle reasonably easily. How clever! I have to say that 3D printing does my head in a bit … the technology is amazing. Thanks RedVikingX … deserves a fav point for effort, creativity and a very unique type of cache.

Last find for the day as the sun is starting to set and I have to visit mum.
Found the last one and it took VK7HCH a little while to extract the log.
Now to walk back and to drop HCH at his house.
Thanks for the cache RedVikingX

After completing field puzzles #4, #3 and #2, we located this puzzle and it only took a few minutes before we were able to sign the log sheet. However reassembling the field puzzle took longer than the initial process. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks RedVikingX for another enjoyable field puzzle.

Found today while out caching with Zozetta. We began the day at Lauderdale where we did ‘The Path To Madness’ series, then we went to Single Hill where we found four and then went back to Lauderdale to get a multi and a couple of traditionals, although one of those was a DNF. We found seven traditionals and two multis ending up with nine finds and two DNFs. A fun day out with many quality caches found.

This series was our first target today and, after reading previous logs and watching the caches accumulate favourite points, I knew that they would very good and we were not disappointed! Unfortunately, we had a DNF on 3 so we’ll be back.

The cache was quickly found, and the puzzle was quickly solved. It took us about three minutes. I’ve found one like this before so that helped. Our first find of the day and it was a good one.

Thanks for the cache RedVikingX!

Thanks for the cache RedVikingX.
Headed out for a short stroll with the two GeoGSP's this afternoon and headed to this trail to see if I could sign the log for this cache.
Loved everything about this cache - really appreciate all the work you have put into the cache and it's container. After reaching GZ, I did what most people appear to have done, and spent about five minutes attempting to log the cache before success.
I'll be back to find the others another day, but in the meantime, this one gets a favourite from me.

Nice easy find on a beautiful day, looking forward to finishing the rest of the trail. The puzzle was an awesome addition, thankyou so much to the creator for this. The collection of prizes was also the best we've seen. Thanks again!

Hello RedVikingX thank you for the cache

Tonight been our usual BNO and with two missing EeePees and I went caching.
Arrived just on dark and your cache easily found and it wasn't too long before the log was signed.

Found this evening with AlbyDangles - as the muggle members of our usual BoysNightOut dinner group were absent, we 2 went geocaching instead.

Parked nearby just on dark, grabbed our torches and headed off - completing a return walk from #1 to #4 - and back. No rain, but quite cool, so walking was brisk, and muggles sparse.

Quick finds as expected, although times between finding, and accessing the logs slowly increased proportionally with the difficulty level along the way.

Kinda wish I'd put my beanie on. It is frustrating trying to open the log container, but probably more frustrating watching someone else trying!

Adding a Fav here.

Thanks RedVikingX, for the clever cache, the series, and the adventure.
Cheers, EPs.

Was out this way looking for another cache which is missing, and decided to stop by this cache.
Found it quickly but took a little while to get to the log book
Great cache idea for a series
I will be back with Geo Kid E next weekend as he loves these puzzles, so will save the others for then

We had to be up early for an appointment in the city then we were meeting the daughter and grandchildren in Lauderdale to get some supplies for the weekend. After a coffee we went our separate ways.

Had seen these 4 caches and not quite the right timing to find them until today. With some nice weather we decided to tackle these field puzzles and after reading some logs, we decided to start with #1 and work our way up the difficulties, however, this one seem to take ages…..even struggled to close it after signing the log! We weren’t looking forward to the harder ones!

Well done and thanks for the challenge.

This was a nice area to stroll around whilst listening to the birds. The field puzzles were very well constructed. Thanks for your effort in building these caches and thanks for the series.

Well from the brief read of the listing all I knew was that a bit of work must have gone into these and was going to be treated to something different. We in fact drove into the street the last one was in and as I was turning round at the end found a car behind me so parked up a bit further along, someone got out of the car and dashed off down the trail we needed, how very odd, soon the penny dropped that this was in fact the CO.

We got to GZ just after he had recovered the cache and after introductions I was told two things, 1. the cache was broken and he was about to do some repairs and we would be best to start at the other end and 2. I deserved a punch in the face for my Nine Inch Nails puzzle Surprised so with that we headed off to #1.

This one was good quick start and we added our names to the log in no time at all.

This was to be a day of maintenance of other peoples caches for the Tas Community profile and we just threw in a couple of caches that were along the way so we got some finds too.
But it turned out to be one if not the largest number of Fav worthy cache finds in a day I have ever had and get this I was home before dark!

Thanks for the cache.

We stopped at #4 first but were just beaten by the CO to it to take away for maintenance. He suggested starting at #1 first so we did.
A quick find of a well presented cache (series) and not too long to extract the log. We know they are due to get harder and we look forward to the challenge.
Fav point
Thanks RedVikingX

I saw these get posted and was pretty keen to get out and find them because I’m also interested in 3D printing and have a few geocaches of my own that have been created with the printer.
This was was a quick find and a quick solve - about 10 seconds! Signed the log and onto the next.
Favourite point given.

I saw these intriguing caches come up when we were at a friend's getting ready to take her to the airport.
I persuaded RoadieR to detour a little after the airport drop off and we headed towards the cache area. I read WWs logs and decided it would be prudent to tackle them in order of difficulty, both to get a handle on the puzzles and because we were a bit strapped for time.
I was perplexed at the start, thinking that the outer container was actually the puzzle, but when it fell open when I examined it, and I realised that I was mistaken.
Then the real fun began. RoadieR (who was a watchmaker once) tried for a second or two, but patience was not his friend today, and he quickly handed over to me. A bit of this, a bit of that, tongue out in the right direction and the log was revealed. Yay! What clever little puzzles!
Thanks RedVikingX, that was fun and different. Gets a fav. from us.

FTF Well done on a great series of hides in this lovely reserve. Luckily we had the perfect tools with us - the grandsons who made us look inconspicuous while hunting and solving. Mr W went off with a couple of grandsons to this hide as well after not solving the first 2 diff 4 puzzles. Luckily a reasonably quick solve. Thanks for the first to find coins. These 3D printers are amazing. TFTC Deserves a favourite. A fun couple of hours filled in. Thanks for the challenge and entertainment.

After dropping off my Brother and Sis-in-law at the airport for their 2 week Adelaide visit, i decided to swing by these new 4 hides on my way back.
I started from Pink through to Purple before the All-Day-Drizzle started [:o] around 12:30pm.

Quickly found the hide and managed to access the log within 5 minutes. I have developed a "Patience" in attempting these and it has paid off... kind of ha ha Big Grin

On the 'Path To Madness' which i know will only get harder starting from this end first Big Grin "Yeeaah bring it!" i say ha ha.
