Snips and Co and I wandered into town to explore and look for a few geocaches. As we approached there was a group of people who looked like they were very interested in the river bed... i thought they were panning for gold but they didn't have pans.. turns out they were some new geocachers. we had a lovely chat with [BeatrixWanders](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=7daa82ca-a3ad-4254-9f28-dde8fc45bcba) and her camping crew. [@Snips and Co](https://coord.info/PR2TFBV) marvellously showcased how adaptable her walking pole could be to 'pan for a geocache'.. yep a little tap here, a big dig through leaves there and thunk! that's the sound of a plastic container! log was soon signed and we were on our way.

Upon arriving at GZ we noticed a few people rummaging about with phones in their hands. What could they be doing we thought. Yup, looking for the cache... We introduced ourselves and met the lovely BeatrixWanders, who was just beginning her geocaching adventures. They had been hunting for a while for this cache and we were already dubious due to the DNF logs this did not stop us from giving it a good crack. AND, bingo, using a stick to poke and prod, was that wood tapping on plastic I heard? Yes! This was a fun one, thanks Haz0410

I was thrilled to see some new caches in town since our last visit which would help me nicely with my streak. We began our search (only wearing thongs mind you - big mistake) and went up, then down, then up again. We were struggling. Where could this one be? We were about to bail when I had one more look and it was right there. Infront of us the whole time. Thanks Haz0410 for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------Are you ready to nominate in the 2023 Victorian Cache of the Year Awards? A group of us were camping nearby, and as RoamingHowie was still on a caching streak, we popped into town to grab a few bits and pieces and of course find a cache. We chose this cache for today as it was one of three that had been published since we were last here. We parked nearby and made our way across the bridge. We past a muggle befre we crossed, but he was so busy with his phone conversation that he didnt pay us any attention. This left us to scramble to our hearts content. We looked over, under, around just about every plausible location. Still scratching our heads, I decided to call a recent finder to ask for a hint, but there was no answer.I began typing out a message thinking we could move onto No 2, and come back for this one tomorrow, but just as I was about to hit Send, RoamingHowie says found it!.Phew. He needed these three - one per day - otherwise wed be driving a while to find the next closest unfound cache on Sunday.Anyhoo, we signed the log and returned to camp, happy to return tomorrow for No 2.Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, Haz0410 ~~

We are staying at Marysville for a few days and came up to Alexandra to find a cache out near Fawcett. We dropped into the info centre to use the facilities and whilst I was in there GMelb met the lady at the info centre (& her very cute dog) who helped place these caches. Cool!! Oh the doggy was so cute, our doggy is at home with our son and we miss her (oh and him!) lol Anyway back to the cache. This was a nice easy find with a good clue TFTC Haz0410 - GJMMelb

Thanks for the Cache Haz0410, in town for the day, I took advantage of a lull in the program to add these new caches to my collection. The park being quiet for a Saturday morning, I was able to subtly retrieve the container and sign the log without arousing suspicion.Regards from Victourer

The bonbons are going to be a little empty this Xmas.

Reasons being, Haz0410 has emptied all the treasures into this geocache.
Very generous people around these parts of the world.
The bananas took the Makita battery drill and the Golf Rangefinder hopefully to improve my score on my next round.
I left a pineapple hopefully to cover their generous booty because that's was all we were carrying.
The bananas are not rich like the people around here.

The plan is to stuff these treasures into our bonbons.

Hopefully we get them back at Xmas time. These gifts that keep on giving.
