Today we headed to Ulverstone to attend the events and on the way home we did a few caches along the way, and this was one of them. A warm but a tad wet during the day down the coast. An enjoyable trail, we started from the top and made our way to the Don Railway. A few challenges along the way but got there in the end.Cache and contents in good condition. Many thanks rhubarbroad for your cache placement here.

I was really keen to do this Don to Tugrah River Trail today, my last day in Devonport, so i parked up the GeoMobile close to the popular Don River Railway Museum and set off on foot to do the "loop" i had planned to walk, not just to grab some hides but to get my step count up too, so a Win-Win was on the cards.Walked straight up to this one and placed my hand on it straight away having seen so many of these cool hides in the past. I really do like these types [^] the don't usually get Muggled Big GrinSigned the dry log at 09:35 on Thursday 11 April 2024.TFTC rhubarbroad Smile

Travelling around with Angus 88. This was a fairly easy geocache to find. However, the series is quite inspiring. Thank you

Another really easy and quick find but once again I am surprised at myself. Found, stamped and replaced, with Maggie and Mollie, my GeoWesties, while roaming around Tasmania with our motorhome “Mylittlebus” looking for content for our TASMANIA ALL OVER facebook. Join us there. Thanks for placing this cache (and others), keeping us on our exploring toes.

Now that we are back in the state, we wanted to head out to look for the new caches that have been placed along the old railway line that ran from Don to Melrose. We have pleasant memories of having walked the track over ten years ago and wanted to return to the area to refresh our memories.

An intriguing name for this cache - we wondered if a remnant of the old railway line had been left in place but on arrival, it was obvious that that was not the case. However accurate coordinates and the cache name led us to some interesting objects, one of which was another well designed and constructed rhubarb road cache showing the now characteristic attention to detail of this CO's caches. The cache and contents were in excellent condition. Thanks rhubard road for another great cache - another well earned favourite from us.

Thanks for the cache rhubarbroad.
After attending an event at Latrobe earlier in the day, I decided to make the most of the excellent weather and take the two GeoGSP's for a walk along this newly opened track.
We walked to the furthest cache and made our way back as we did need to head home sometime Smile
This was a clever hide - don't think I 've seen once like this before. Gets a favourite from me.

Found this one on another beautiful autumn day.

What an impressive and well constructed hide that deserves a favourite point from us. The cache name made for a quick find here as we cycled our way along this newly opened track. The riding was a bit bumpy but we've encountered worse in our pursuit of caches. Thanks for another quality hide rhubarbroad.

Followed on the track from previous cache to gz, when from 20m away I sensed where the cache would be. Sure enough a quick find on another crafty hide.
Many tftc rhubarbroad, thoroughly enjoyed the walk....cheers ST.
