caching with magpup, tufbill and Linda#1 on a beautiful warm day in the city. of course we had to stop here for the pictures that were awesome on day like today. the place was packed with visitors and cameras. thanks for bringing us here and a fav.

Found on our roadtrip through the southwest. After an exhausting day in San Francisco, we crossed the Golden Gate to find a place to stay for the night. When we arrived here, it was already dark, but there were lots of people enjoying the view of the lights of the city. You could see a shadow of the spires of the bridge on the low hanging clouds.

Having ridden across the bridge on cycles yesterday, I had hoped to drop by GZ for this cache. It didn;t happen though as I did not see the correct approach path and Clan Gunnie ended up at the bottom of the hill, with no way up... Oops...

Today though, we took the easy option and jumped aboard a hop on, hop off tour bus. It took us all the way as we sat back and relaxed, that was handy... [^] After taking in the scenery and snapping a couple of shots from the edge of the path, I headed up to obtain the necessary info to log the find. Info located easily, I posed for the obligatory onsite pic and we headed off. Today was significantly cooler than the last couple of days and I had underestimated how cool that wind was, especially as I was in shorts and t-shirt...

Visited on my US trip, a great spot to park and grab a few quick photos. Plenty of people around all day, because it's such a scenic spot.

Was in the US last year visiting family in San Fran, Phoenix and Savannah. Drove up here and spent the afternoon wandering around the bridge area. Took a photo of the relevant info so I could log it .. now almost a year later?!?! Better late than never I guess. TFTC from Perth, Australia!

In leaving San Francisco this morning we called in here to do this cache. We tried to verify our information and answer to the question but the link did not work. We have emailed JeeperDad with our answer.

Called by with Grumpy Ant while on our hire bikes having just "done" the bridge. Nice to see the New Zealand native Christmas tree (Pohutakawa) just starting to flower at this memorial.

Thank you for a wonderful reason, not that we needed another, to cross the Golden Gate Bridge. We are visiting from Wisconsin, celebrating our 40th anniversary and also hoping to make our 10,000th cache find. We have enjoyed every minute in SF. Thank you so much for placing this cache.

We found this cache at 5:30pm. This is one of the spots that we had been looking forward to on our visit to the USA. The method of verification was tricky as I had spoken the name into our PDA and did not realise that the spelling would be so important to get the verification. Luckily through a minute scrap of memory, I was able to hit it on the second try. Thanks for the cache from D,H,H & A B-A.

Came across to see the bridge and couldn't pass up the opportunity to log a cache while we were at it. A fantastic view from the cache spot. TFTC

Stopping here is basically mandatory when coming from the North so no problems finding this one. Heaps of the muggly tourist around taking photos of the Bay and the statue. Thanks.
