Quick find find, it took longer to find the log than the container! Nice to see a few bigger caches around here. Thanks for bringing us to this beautiful area.
After finding a spot the land the space ship we made our way to the cache....Well I wasn't expecting that. We were so excited to do some swaps. TFTC:)
After an epic walk in the bush yesterday, today Tankengine and I decided to have a slow caching day before heading home. We had an awesome start to the day with breakfast in Mittagong at the Station Coffee House. I ate the best corn fritters ever! We did a few caches, caught up with the gang for some more caches then headed home by late afternoon. All in all a great weekend away. Plenty of caches found, good company and some great food. This cache: Well that is a LARGE! Parked lower down the parking coords somehow, but there was an easy Cacher trail to follow in to GZ. With a container this big it was an easy find. Tftc!!!
Tftc, everything was dry and in good condition, lots of kids toys inside and an odd amount of car keys. Added some more trinkets and toys, ActualGoblins and I picked up a trackable each.
Found my first ever trackable as the last cache of the day! An awsome large cache that had some really good swag in it. As I didn't have a trackable to leave inside I added a handful of swappables instead. TFTC!
Found driving through the area. Very busy road today up today! Left some swag and some TB we hope someone can continue their adventure
Up this way doing maintenance on my nearby cache so took the opportunity to find this whilst in the vicinity - thanks.
OCW GGCoconut and HJCoconut. We'd decided this morning that we would head down to the Southern Highlands for a picnic lunch and mini caching day. We ended up getting away a little later than hoped and were further delayed when we stopped to assist at an accident a couple of cars ahead of us on the Hume Highway. Thankfully and rather miraculously, the occupants were able to extract themselves from their vehicle and though they appeared to be in shock, they seemed physically unharmed. With police and ambulance on the way, I was advised that I was able to continue on our journey. Well, this one was one of our target caches for today - GGC and HJC in particular LOVE a large cache and a cache with swag. They were pleased to be able to make some swaps ??Many thanks for placing this and for bringing us here today!
1356 for the tribeChilly day in Bowral, but the sun was shining, so we rugged up and Geocached! We enjoyed some history, some great bushwalking, and some serene spots. We started out here at the Geofun AL, which was a lovely walk around the small lake, and extended the loop to include Katoomba lookout, the Crag, the Large Swag cache and the AL bonus. All up a 4.5km walk with 180m of elevation gain, which was thoroughly enjoyed. Always great to find a proper large cache like this one, with a heap of SWAG. Cache in great condition. Took longer to find the log than to sign it! Beautiful flowers nearby on the wattle trees Thanks for placing and maintaining this one!
Quick find with young people from Youth Hub after an afternoon of Team building. TFTC
Out for a cache hunt with ilookgeo on a rather hot day. We had a good pick up rate of the selected caches that were on the list and were pleased with some more smileys around the Mittagong area and on a variety of cache types. All logs were signed before being replaced as found. There was such a huge selection of swag in the container. Thanks for this cache placement go to xEmmaM.
As it is hot today we just decided to go caching for a short day with goingplaces2. Found enough to keep us happy for the day. Cache here was found, log was signed. Job done! TFTC.
#21553 @1450A day trip to Sydney from Canberra to pick my son up from the airport. Cached my way there. Cache easily found. Worth a favourite point. TFTC.
Out for a spot of caching with the family. Good find, with some great things to find.
Last cache for the day caching in this area many thanks for a large bucket cache should be more of then taken TB - TFTC / TFTH / SL
My first cache for some years, getting back into it after a hiatus. Thanks for a great cache, TFTC, TNLN.
A nice find on a sunny, yet windy day.I'm not usually a fan of swag, as it tends to pile up, and fill caches with junk after a while. Thanks for the cache.
TFTC! I wish they were all this big. So much fun. I swapped some SWAG and left a TB. I highly recommend bringing some good quality swag if you visit this cache.
Sadly heading home after a few weeks away caching. We spent the night in Mittagong and while looking what was about we spotted a rare large cache so this was to be our first for the day. We missed the parking on the way up but did get to see some great views through the trees as we turned around and came back.
We followed the GPS to GZ for a nice easy find of a great sized cache with lots of loot in it.
Our biggest trouble was finding the right log book and once that was done our name was added and every thing returned as it was. We headed back to the car thinking how when we started caching 20 years back this size cache was common and now we target them for their rarity.
Many thanks xEmmaM for the great hide, a favourite point from us.
We dropped off a TB

Out on a run doing some sly caching while my wife relaxes at the Caravan park.
From the name thought maybe if I get stuck out here as its getting late, I could bed down in the swag?
But Wasn't expecting that!!
Have never seen so much good stuff for kids to swap and take before! Normally its a lot of tat. But not here, Kids must love this one
Thanks for maintaining the cache

Squeegee85 and I both needed a good bushwalk so we decided to do a bit of squid caching up Mt Alexandra. We were both worried about the state of the road (both of us had had previous bad experiences) so we parked down the bottom and walked up. I can note that the road has been fixed but the huffing and puffing was worthwhile so I could take a breather and find this cache. Wow that is one REALLY well stocked swag cache. Thanks

After a couple of past very quick visits to this area, we’ve come back to spend a day caching around. We’re aiming at better DTs this time, plus whatever else pops up in front of us…
After a cold start, a great day has turned out. After lunch now and we’re up Mt Alexandra….
What a beauty! This is the most swag, and good stuff too, that I’ve seen…

Day 2/4 of our Mittagong/Goulburn Trip.
Today we decided to cache around Mittagong, grabbing some good DTs and some other caches along the way. We had a great time doing some awesome caches in this area.
One of the first proper larges i’ve found in a while! Great cache, perfect condition and as the name suggests, LOADS of swag! FP awarded, TNLN SL.
Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache xEmmaM

A quick day out in the highlands to tick off my day for the June challenge. Lots of funny TOTT caches were done and some lovely walking. Just as I finished at 1430 it started to rain, good planning. Great swag in this one!

Visiting relatives and saw this one only a few hundred metres from their house. What a massive cache. Took nothing but wrote in log book. Great location, used to live nearby 30 years ago.
Found on the way to the local squid caches, now that has a lot of swag! Thanks
After grabbing a few new caches in Sydney, this one had also popped up on my "just published" list. I was heading towards Canberra anyway, so when I noticed it was a VERY rare "Large" size, I decided to grab it on the way through!
An interesting drive up, it wasn't raining but it had obviously rained earlier in the day as everything was quite wet. I was doing fine until a 4WD came down the hill and didn't look like they wanted to stop / give way. So I had to pull over as much as I could and stop the car on the steepest part of the hill.
When I tried to take off again the wheels spun. The road was wet and steep and the car didn't want to gain traction! Lucky this road is tarmac, if it was anything else I would have had to reverse the whole way back! But with a little bit of persistance and going very easy on the accelerator, and turning the wheel to have a bit more angle, the car finally got enough traction and slowly continued the steep climb. Phew!
I soon arrived at the cache and WOW! Not sure when was the last time I saw THAT MUCH SWAG in a cache! Absolutely packed full, and some really cool stuff too! I didn't take anything though to keep the excitement for future finders / kids who would appreciate it.
Have a Favourite point for the swag!
Many thanks

FTF 1pm 30/4/23
Saw this pop up and loving only a km away or so, I couldn’t resist. Especially being a large! Watched to see if anyone else claimed FTF but no one did so in between rain showers we made our way there and parked at the waypoint. Made my way down the track and found the awesome sized chockablock filled cache! Found what seemed to be a second log

saw this one pop up, and as it was only a km away, I thought we could get there in time to be the first to find. As the last time we were in the location, we almost got the car stuck, we parked at the bottom and started the trek up. Just as we arrived at the recommended parking location, I refreshed the app and saw that someone had beat us to it. Congrats, widge76, on your find.
We made our way to GZ and made a super quick find. While I signed the log, my little grub looked through the swag - his favourite activity. We put everything back and returned the camo to its position. Now for the trek back to the car.
TFTC and the great exercise walking up the near vertical section of road .
