Another one to tick off. A bit out of where we were initially looking. Thanks for the cache lachieclark
On our first full day in Tasmania we headed for the Botanic Gardens and the surrounding Queens Domain on our geocache quest Enjoyed our walk to this cache then spent far too long looking in all the wrong places as the phone was very unsettled. Got there in the 3nd TFTC lachieclark
Stompin around avoidin tha muggers were tha hardest part. Well disguised.
TFTC! Back in the country and straight back to my favourite pastime of crawling and lurking in bushes Able to find it easily although the light is fading. Deeply appreciate you placing and maintaining this cache! All is well with it.
Our for a bike ride with the kids. Got told off by a grumpy dog lady for watching the dog show that was on at the soldiers memorial oval Great spot. TFTC!
Thanks for the fun cache! Got a sticker that says I'm a top but I'm more a bottom tbh
After our stay at the botanical garden, we visited this Cache. Easy to find. TFTC MCoMeter
Such an obvious hide but for some reason I still went around in circles for far too long before spotting it. TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan
Not quite where I expected but didn't take too long on a walk around the Hobart Domain this evening. Thanks.
No soggy bottoms here today. Perhaps we stayed upright ? Anyway, after a morning's activity in the RTBG, we returned to the Domain to log both GC's and GA's. Only downer was we collected a parking infringement ticket for parking on the wrong side of the road .............. even here on the Domain ! So maybe I have got a soggy bottom 'cos that has given me the s#*t%.
Heute besuchten wir unter anderen auch den zweiten Teil des Queens Domain Garden. Wir fanden die Dose recht gut bei wunderbarem Wetter. Bei diesem mussten wir etwas lnger suchen. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.
We are from Switzerland...We do housesitting all over the world and this time we are back in Tasmania the second time ...We traveled around here 14 years ago...its nice to be back and this time even better with geocaching ..Today Nggi2 and I went out to make out of green ones yellow Smilies Its a beautiful day to visit this part the other caches in Queens Domain garden of Hobart but we tried to follow the shade as much as possible .Afterwards we went with the Cm around Hobart to log a few caches .We found most caches in good time .Thank you for placing this Dsli (Dsli means little box in Swiss) oinkoinkNo TB in this cache
I parked on the Lower Domain Road next to the fire trail and made my way up to the Infinity Loop under the power lines. I did this because last time I parked at the end of the loop I was followed. Not the nicest thing to happen!Today I saw one muggle on a bike and he went up one of the fire tracks to the top. Found the cache quickly. I replaced the plastic bag as it had a large rip in it. Thanks for the cache!
Went out today with the plan to find a traditional cache to finish my Traditional cache on everyday challenge. I had been working on this throughout the year and it came down to today for the last day. Given the nature of the challenge and work commitments, I had left this cache and another as a backup if I needed a cache on one of the dates I was missing. As it turned out I managed to find other caches and get to the final day without finding this cache.I wandered to the coordinates among the chalk messages to park runners and quickly found a SPOR and the cache was found.TFTC
Nice spot, lot of traffic on the running track though so had to be careful.( nice and dry)TFTC
TFTC. Cache and contents are in good condition.Decided to bush bash from a nearby cache and it was uphill all the way. Really enjoyed it though helps being a cool overcast day too.A good hide and accurate coordinates at GZ
We came south today to attend an event tomorrow - we are past the stage of making a return trip in a single day unless absolutely necessary. We arrived in mid afternoon and after checking in at a motel, we had a few hours to cache before the sun went down. Our initial focus was on the western shore, in particular the Domain, before we headed to the other side of the river. However, as most geocachers know, the setting of the sun does not mean the end of the days activities and we ended up making our last find for the day in the dark. We started our caching on the western shore along a walking track on the Domain. This was the last cache that we needed to find this afternoon. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks lachieclark for the cache.
Thanks for the quick find. I thought my mojo was gone after 2 DNFs but this restored it. TFTC
Making the most of the glorious weather with a walk around Queens Domain. TFTC
It was a nice day for a stroll around the Domain. Once at GZ it was a quick find. TFTC
Today we found Soggy Bottom Swamp on our travels. We are back in Tassie to attend a charity function this weekend and bonus! We get to go caching as well.
Thanks lachieclark for being part of our geocaching fun.

Going for a walk around the Domain today, one of several caches found. Took me longer than it should have, not looking for what turned out to be pretty clear

TFTC - was out and about this morning so decided to grab a cache for today - to assist with the current souvenir challenge.
A pleasant stroll along a track that I know well from parkrun.
Nice cache, well stocked, straightforward hide and so a quick find.
Thanks lachieclark and "the kid" - for this caching experience.
Cheers, EPs.

Thanks for the cache lachieclark.
Headed out for an afternoon walk with the two GeoGSP's this afternoon, and this geocache was our target. We've walk this loop a fair bit, and I've even jogged it a fair bit (a few years ago now), and I really like the new track.
We passed lots of muggles on our loop today - some walking doggoes, some jogging, some walking, others on their bikes with the kids.
We ducked off the track and made a nice quick find at GZ and then continued on our way.

My wife and I have flown down from Brisbane to Hobart for a short holiday to use up the last of our remaining flight credits collected during Covid. While my wife enjoyed a sleep in, I headed out bright and early on a rather chilly morning to find some geocaches during a walk along the Hobart Rivulet Trail.
Afterwards I headed back in to the city to meet up with her for a late breakfast around the Salamanca Markets before I then continued on for a walk out towards Queens Domain. Along the way I was able to call in and visit this cache.
I received a phone call from friends just as I was approaching GZ. This distracted me enough that I ended up walking right past the cache before I started searching. I soon realised my error and backtracked to find the cache safe and well. TFTC

Saw the notification for this one when it came out a little while ago. Considered going out to try to be FTF but didn’t end up going. Since then it’s been sitting in my map asking to be found!
Headed up there with the dog today and made a quick find.

Myself and Goose called at this one as we were in the area today to do a bit of a clean up of the area.
Well this weekend I was treated to TWO days caching as someone was 60 on the Sunday but I couldn't miss out on my normal caching Saturday.
Thanks for the cache.

Although the skies were a little threatening the behaved so we didn't get a soggy bottom, we found the cache though!
We'd been in the area for other reasons but had this cache in mind. A nice stroll on an easy path to GZ, one I've done quite a few times, usually involving caching.
Thanks lachieclark

Lucky no soggy bottoms for us as the rain had stopped. It was a nice walk to GZ. Well done to "the kid" on your hide. TFTC
Managed to park close enough to this one then i made my way to the GZ area.
It was a reasonably quick find of a nicely hidden cache with dry contents.
SL at 12:19 on the perfect sunny Autumn day of Wednesday 26 April 2023.

Dropped in here on the way to there hoping for a first to find but alas there were already two names in the log book. The Denoxclan had the same idea as they arrived at the cache just behind us. Thanks lachieclark

*{FTF}* found with AndyAnd42. We went for a walk and we found another cache on the way to this one. I saw the notification last night, expected this would have been found but it turns out not. Found the cache a few metres from GZ after checking the hint. After finding the cache, we went up over the top and back down past the water tanks to the Legacy Park and eventually returned to the car an hour and a half after setting off.

Well, if I’d noticed the notification about this one last night, we might have been the ftf as we were close to GZ this morning, but I didn’t so instead we’re the joint second or close third(?) to find with S_38 and xxDouDouxx.
We were going to visit the botanical gardens this afternoon so we decided to detour and look for this new cache as it hadn’t been logged as found yet. After a short walk to GZ we realised that we weren’t the only cachers looking for this one as S_38 and xxDouDouxx were a few metres in front of us. After introductions we began looking and S_38 had the cache in hand in no time. Beaten to the ftf by about forty minutes, but it was great to meet some other cachers.
Thanks for the cache lachieclark!
