Another search for SideTracked caches was on the program for today with goingplaces2. This was a successsful find here and signing duties were soon done. TFTC.
SideTracked cache 229. Following the SideTracked theme again today with ilook4geo, this cache was an easy find - we just followed the geotrail to locate the container. Both names were added to the log and it was off to the next one. Thanks for this cache placement go to queenant89.
I had finally ticked a few things off my list so decided I would head south and find a few caches I had been eyeing off. The clouds looked ominous, but surprisingly for once they cleared once I arrived. An unusual place for a cache that I was glad it was not yet summer.I took the most direct route from the parking coordinates provided which was through some long grass. This proved unwise as I was met with retaining walls that still werent high enough. I followed an alternative path and managed to get further up the embankment. I found the cache laying on the ground. Im not sure if that was its intended location, although the cache and log book were in good condition.Returning via an alternative path, I would recommend future finders opt to access GZ from north of the roundabout rather than straight up from the car park.A big thanks goes to queenant89 for taking the time to add SideTracked - Westall to the geocaching map for us all to find and enjoy.----------------------------------------------------------Wow! I was heading over to the southern suburbs to visit family and had decided to go a little early and find a few caches. Unfortunately the rain had decided to come along too so I got a bit wet chasing this one... and the long grass didn't do much for keeping my shoes dry. After a bit of a miss at the mid level. I realised that I needed to go further up... and success was then ensured. Thanks **queenant89** for putting this cache here.
On my way to the crawl I arranged to meet SciFiRulz to check out a cache she had struggled to find on a previous visit - I get why now. However, as I was floundering around and couldn't hear a thing due to traffic, she yelled extra loud that she had found it - easily I might add! I was just good luck charm on this one!thanks for cache queenant89regardskbucky
Found with kbucky. We had arranged to meet this morning to look for this cache. I had tried without luck once before so wanted some fresh eyes to look as well. We made our way to GZ and she went one way and I went the other. I actually spotted the cache, but she couldn't hear me over the noise of the traffic so kept looking until I managed to get the message across. Signed the log then headed back to our cars. TFTC
Nice find with a lot of help from past logs. All in good condition. TFTC
TFTC! Such a great spot! I didn't see anything until it was right in front of my face
I'm out today caching by train and hoped to get quite a few. But some days just don't go the way you planned. I feared this one was going to join a list of growing DNFs but a log entry by OHC made the difference. A nice hide, thanks.
This rain isn't letting up today so I took note of previous logs and put the gumboots on .. no issue getting to GZ however I did wonder if Xmas in July had come early..well it made for a straightforward find.
Another after work caching run while working in this area. 5 finds and 1 cache missing for the early evening, not too bad.Parked in the nearby car park and then scouted out the rough area where I knew it had to be hidden. Followed the trail up the hill, rather than climbing the wall. Once at the coordinates, I spotted something that needed my attention and then found the geocache. Log a little damp at some stage, but all good to sign. Thanks for the cache Queen Ant 89Hunter
Coords spot on. Climbing involved but not up walls. Did on a wet day. Need to go buy socks now. Tftf
Visited it during 28-days geotrip to Australia, N.Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Am.Samoa, Fr.Polynesia with Marci, Ch. Sometimes we logged as "MT" or "Jonea" or "MTCh". Thanks for showing nice caches and places. MT-Jonea from Brno city in Czechia EU. Wet logbook so we photo it.
Very well camouflaged, but look for something that shouldnt be there!! Lots of litter on the ground, dont get fooled, this isnt rubbish!!
Yay. This cache took a bit of looking. Coords are spot on , just a bit of scrambling to find the camouflaged then the container. Please, as the CO advises do not go near the busy road on the overpass. TFTC.
This one took us a while. We wandered up and down a few times before going right up and finding the odd one out. Thanks queenant89 for placing this cache here for us to find.Chiefton!!!
Was down this way on business and dropped by on the way home to pick up a cache. Easy find, no problem. Dont understand what the fuss is about. Thanks for the cache.
Nope, not there. Nope still not there. At last. Found this one after a little mountain goat training. Thanks for placing the cache for us to enjoy.
A day out with Geoturtle37 and pwala, caching the burbs.Tried one level. Nope, not close enough.Tried the next one up. Nope still not close enough. One more. Bingo! Nice camo. Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, queenant89 ~~
Out to caching in this area with OHC and GT37. queenant89, thank you so much for placing it for everyone to enjoy and highlighting this area. Loved where you hide the cache.
I have been keeping an eye out for D2.0/T2.0 caches as I have been ever so slowly working on qualifying for [Dromaniax's](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=d0b21b2e-6d61-423e-839d-4cc4f7fe7ab1&wid=f64bc8da-f1c9-4c56-b78b-fc2b2ce2874e&ds=2) [Richie Benaud 2/2 D/T All-Rounder Challenge Cache (GC9QG0K)](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC9QG0K) and with this being not only my closest unfound D2.0/T2.0 cache to work, but my closest traditional cache to work I have been keen to find this one for a while. However, I have been keeping an eye out on it and it seemed to be quite tricky as I have seen a lot of experienced cachers logging DNFs on it. So I have been a bit hesitant to attempt it on my lunch break, in fear I would run out of time to search for it.So finally I had a bit of free time after work today and I was able to give it a proper search. Of course, I must have gotten quite lucky as my phone homed in on it exactly and I was able to find the cache in the first place I looked. I also got lucky as there were no muggles sitting at the train station today, and although I am sure I got a few weird looks from some of the muggles driving by GZ today, especially as I made my ascent, but none stopped and I was able to sign the log without drawing any real attention to myself. A big thanks goes to [queenant89](https://www.geocaching.com/p/?guid=3c21b8b1-31de-4287-8778-2a0c85ed2a85&wid=ff2ec5b4-4d0c-43e7-b525-98dc2c2f7c5c&ds=2) for the fun today. TFTC.**Cache Maintenance Status**The cache container was in good shape. The attachment mechanism still seemed strong and the logbook was clean and dry with plenty of room for future cache finders to sign.
Had a look for this one with PapaGrouch with no luck. Ran out of time so we will have to return and try again.
Found first geocache not too bad took awhile but got there with compass.24.12.23 Marthedean
Currently trying to finish the year with a streak and so heading out daily, for a cache. Plus their are a few other caches I need for challenges. Today I needed a cache and was nervous to make this my target, but after a short search my previous DNF is now a smiley. Thanks to queenant89 for the fun and the adventure.
Searched for a while until I found the right way in then an easy find. coordinates were very good which helped.
I did a check today. Everything is in order including the logbook in the cache.
After a visit to everyone's favourite flat pack retailer I realised I needed a cache today and luckily this one was nearby. I was ready to give up and return to the rest of the family in the car but retraces my steps and spotted something interesting and sure enough!
TFTC!

I found this cache today whilst on our way home from Moorabbin. Just crossing the bridge on Westall Road, when I remembered that there was a cache here, so we pulled off for a look. The co-ords were fairly good but it till took a while to spot it. We had 3 previous finds around Westall Station with the others being in 2012 x 2 and 2014. Thanks from D B-A
WE had looked for this cache previously without luck. Today we are back again and after searching in the same area as previously I changed my focus a little and then spotted something that didn't quite fit in. On further investigation I was able to retrieve the container and sign the log. Nicely hidden and worth a favourite point. Thanks to queenant89 for the cache.
Out and about with echidna44 for the day. This one has us going for long time. Up down and finally around after PAF. Long grass and up was not easy the unknown under stuff. Still quite a search before we were handed a olive branch. Then it was a pull and discover. Signed off and made our way down slowly. We should have travelled that geo trail. Thanks for the cachequeenant89
Out for the day with xambo4u, this one led us here and there in very long wet grass, the GPS bouncing all over the place. We searched for quite a while before resorting to a PAF, which led us to GZ with great relief. Thanks queenant89.
Another beautiful weather today and Found the cache and logged the log
queenant89. Thank you so much for placing it.

An work avoidance tactic was deployed this morning. Diverted to Westall on my way to work for a squiz for this cache. I was kind of hoping it would take a bit longer than it did….all too soon the log was signed and I couldn’t make any more excuses!
Thanks for the cache queenant89
Thanks for the cache queenant89
Thanks queenant89 for the adventure. I arrived at GZ thinking I knew where the cache was but when I arrived I realised how wrong I was so I widened my search area until my GPS was sitting on zero .. nothing to see here .. I crossed checked with the satellite photo and I seemed to be in the correct place.. still nothing.. then I spied something out of the corner of my eye that needed closer inspection. Success.
This one took me a while to work out what was the correct level to search. I should have just followed the geotrail instead! Thank you queenant89 for placing and maintaining SideTracked - Westall for us to find today.

In the area picking up my hubby's favourite coffee bean supplier in a neighbouring suburb. Stopped by here to grab the cache for the Wheel of Challenges.
Thank you for the cache here queenant89 ??
Thank you for the cache here queenant89 ??
With the warmest June day for many years I took a short lunch break trip here and after a couple of minutes search I soon had the cache in hand. I then enjoyed the view for a second and headed back to work. Quite a bit of train replacement bus activity going on today.
Thanks queenant89 for the cache, the adventure, the hunt and the fun.

Had a good hunt but no luck, hoping it’s just my geosense that is off and not the GPS

Down this part of town looking at roof top tents and swags in prep for a trip to Cape York.
Couldn’t come this far and not look for a geocache
A nice quick find in the drizzle today.

Out and about with My good caching mate Omegaman1971, there are always plenty of laughs while we are turning caches into smiles.
This is one of the caches found today. We almost gave up on this one but finally found it after a PAF.
Thanks queenant89 for the cache.

At GZ I was a bit daunted by the long grass, but I worked out where I needed to be and set off into the wilderness. I thought it would take me a while to find this chap, but I got lucky and looked in the right spot first up.
On way to a meeting and thought if doing this one but alas found a lot of rubbish and a few hidey hole but as this one gas eluded me as time limit expired

*Cache find # 14650.*
I had just jumped into my car at home as I was heading to Lilydale and I noticed that a few caches had been published about half hour earlier, I checked them out and noticed this one and as I had to go right passed it, I decided to have a look.
I parked the car and started wandering towards GZ, I then noticed two lovely ladies standing up on the hill waving at me, I headed up and was able to make a very quick find as the cache was in Julie's hand, I signed the log, replaced the cache and had a bit of a chat before heading back down the hill and on our separate ways.
**Thanks to queenant89 for placing this cache.**

I was buying a new water craft in Moorabbin when notification came in, and even if I'd dropped everything, wouldn't have beaten the dynamic duo to the punch.
But that didn't mean I want going to get SideTracked on my way home.
A quick find (not what I expected) and a lovely view of my little red car containing my little red kayak.
Thanks, queenant89.

Driving back from Plugs (giving that cache a plug, lol, it's a great puzzle!) LetThemEatCache and I noticed a new cache just published practically on our way – we do so love a detour!
LTEC was the cucumber kind of cool, and I was, hurry, hurry, LTEC says, "No one here, no rush". Ahh, to be so cool. We read the cache notes carefully and approached from the correct side; we bush-bashed a bit and found ourselves at the viewpoint. We pondered whether a CITO was needed, then began to hunt.
We searched near, far, up down. I was happy to give up when LTEC said, "I have it" WOW, I thought - how on earth did you know that was it? I believe she said, "Because it looked new" Haha, that won't last long. The newness that is. Perhaps the cache too, as the 'camouflage is too good. You'll see what I mean when you find it.
Thanks for the cache queenant89
