Im here in Australia visiting from the US. Needed to grab a cache this morning before my flight back home so I can greatly increase the distance between two caches on the same day. This is where the Australian time zone definitely works to my benefit. ??This was a nice little park but I didnt have time to walk around and enjoy it since I was on a mission to grab a cache and get to the airport. Quick, easy find and at first wasnt sure there was a log in the container but then I remembered the name of the cache and found it. Its been fun, Australia!
This morning we set off early to tackle the ALs and caches in Sydney park, then of course stop off at the playground for the kids. What a lovely spot, Ive driven past here hundreds of times but never knew how good this park was. A quick search at GZ and we had CIHTFTC!
After finding the AL Bonus at the park from the same CO, I quickly nipped over to find this cache. Nice and hidden from people and an easy find. TFTC!
I found it! TFTC. Logging this cache was absolute hell! I'm typing this up on the 11th of November, but I found it on the 3rd. If you care to read, here's why this was absolute hell. I accidentally gave this cache a favourite point (although I like it, I didn't mean to favourite it), and I couldn't figure out how to remove it, it was so annoying but in the end, I figured it out. (A lot easier than I expected to be honest with you)Happy Caching,BigDingusTheThird.
Apologies - the log is intact, I just needed to read the description properly! I've signed the log. TFTC bluey
All seems fine with this, after all. Thanks for fixing up the signing of the real log. I shall visit it soon to check on the "scrap of paper" someone has left and remove those logs. Please read the description carefully as to where the logsheet is located inside the outer container.Good luck.
Found the cache but the log is missing. There was a scrap of paper left by a previous cacher, and I signed that. TFTC Bluey!
Four Swedish ladies walking around in Sydney looking for caches. We found this and we log as TULP. Thank you for this one.
Hlsningar frn Sverige, sdra Lappland Then it was time for a little adventure. The trip goes to Sydney in Australia and then on to Christchurch and Dunedin in New Zealand .On the trip are, Tigertassen, myself, ursus67, Lnganfans and Pidjas go, which means that we log under the common name "Tulp". The idea is that before we go home we should have visited a Megaevent, Geo Toroa. Greetings from Sweden, southern Lapland
Four ladies from Sweden (Tigertassen, ursus67, Lnganfans, pidjas) are visiting Australia. This day we took a long walk, more than 20 km. We mostly log as TULP.This was one of the places we visited. A big thank you to the CO for this cache.
We are four ladies from Sweden who are visiting Australia and New Zeeland We are logged as TULP This was one of the caches we found Thanks from Sweden
A nice easy find to add to the list on a gorgeous afternoon stroll through Sydney Park. Clever use of a torch! TFTC. Found with WillowCat.
Too good for me today, but I didn't have the best look as I was in my Sunday best.... I'm pretty sure it is still there, I just was not equipped to find it. TFTC!
Thanks for the cache . I left it as it was . First time seeing a blue geocache tube.
This is NOT the logsheet. There is plenty of room on the real logsheet. Please read the description, and you will find the logsheet in the torch. That's the basis of the cache. I will delete logs in the future if someone is lazy and doesn't check the cache details.
This is the cache and logsheet. Please do not add a scrap of paper as it only confuses future finders.
Way too long since I last went geocaching...disgraceful. Lovely day for a walk in Sydney Park with the pooch. Cache needs new log...there's only a tiny scrap of paper in there. TFTC
Out and about again, left Perth on a trip to USA and Canada. We stop briefly at Sydney and Auckland (New Zealand). Caching time is limited so trying to get as many as muggle family will allow without a mutiny on my hands. Tried the blue light. This cache is find number - 16364.Thanks to Brewmaker for the caches I have found.
Super hide - the camo is brilliant! Only a tiny scrap of paper for log amonst all the silica packets. Tftc
A really nice traditional cache hidden in a very busy park. I hope it lasts a long time as it is a great commemorative cache and a cool place to visit!
sat down this morning and pondered where I should wander off exploring. Hhmm. How about Sydney park. Somewhere I've never been and it looked like a large green space in the city.Turned out to be a fantastic choice and I spent a good few hours wandering its paths back and forth finding caches and learning about the facets of conservation implemented here. Fascinating stuff.Walking into the park from the closest train station soon brought me here, after first finding an adlab cache and doing some work on a multi that led elsewhere. With leashless dogs gallivanting about everywhere I had to time my duck into shrubbery which wasn't too long and where the clever camo and cache was quickly discovered. Thanks bluey brew for hiding and maintaining a cache in this awesome park!
Nice day for a walk in the park. The light drizzle didn't diminish the number of canine friends with whom I shared the paths.. and of course their poop bag carrying assistants.I made this search harder than it needed to be, but got there in the end!Thankyou Brewmaker for another neat hide!!!
Came into the city to pick up my new wheels. Had to pick up every cache along the way, as well as a few afterwards. TFTC
During our weeks trip with Bare Foot Guru, Infoferret and Trinity to the Canberra Mega we logged as a combination of "BFG, CF, BIC, BITC" depending on who we were caching with at the time. The trip took us on a flight to Melbourne first, then a drive to Canberra, followed by a drive to Sydney before flying out again. Where possible I will add commentary to each find about the cache. Thanks for all the caches, hides and effort put into hiding and maintaining them.Last cache of our Mega trip before flying back to New Zealand. Cool container that BFG found quickly. Lovely park and area surround this cache.
*** draft log for stats tracking, more later ***GCA7WHP Blue Switch Cache2 April 2024T15:55:16 AEDTTFTC BrewmakerI made an instant find. Cool little container and attachment.
2 April 2024 15:54 TFTC Bluey for placing this cache, number 14042 for me. An expedition with Crystal Fairy & Barefootguru to the 'West Island '. Most logs signed as BIC to save space and time.A lovely spot to wander. Cache found by BFG.I would like to show my respect and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the Land, and their continuing connection to it. I wish to pay my respects to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures; and to Elders past, present and emerging.
It was a glorious Good Friday afternoon, so we decided to head down to Sydney Park for a walk. I had found most in the park previously, but this one was new to me, so on the way up towards the former brick works (location of one of my all-time favourite caches by Philma back in the day).coords were spot on, and a nice cache holder well-camod was discovered moments later. SL&R.TFTC!CC.
A lovely park to explore, and clearly a popular spot. Luckily no muggles nearby. TFTC!!
very easy find, no camo and easily spotted by colour. i placed some nearby natural camo over the top but it might need checked on in case its in the wrong place. tftc
Enjoying my walk around the park and stopped for this cache. Took me a while to spot it and then find the log , very clever. Fav point for the fun . Tnln replaced as found sl
Having a nice stroll around the park. While the geo kid enjoys the skate park.put cache back cover by camo. It was in plan sight.
What a great park. A three minute hunt, not the biggest log on the lot. Thanks for the cache, some shade here on a hot sunny day.
After a bit of time off I decided to get out and look at the local ALs. On my way I noticed this and am glad I did. TFTC
I found it but sadly no log book to record my name. Photo sent to CO to prove my find
Quick find this morning after coffee nearby and before heading to work. All in good condition, TFTC!
Visiting some antique shop in Alexandria with the wife, Not my cup of tea. Even if it was Couldn't afford anything! This is more up my path, a few geocaches on the way home. GPS a bit all over the place today. Maybe some local spirit activity? It is Halloween!Nice park to visit in the cityThanks for maintaining the cache
Found after a lovely lunch break at Alexandria grounds. Didnt take too long, geo hubby had soon cache in hand. TFTC
Finally found it. This was a cache best finding in sunrise not in the dark. With TBs Canadian Flag, Dosenjger, Piglet Travel and G.N.I.A Travel Tag in tow. Now off to Queensland to drop these trackables and meet fellow deaf geocachers
I checked on this yesterday and found a "false" log inside the outer container that was placed by detectivetotro on 12/08/2023. It seems then that other finders have assumed this is the log sheet. Check the hint: it is inside the obvious object inside, which even has the word "LOG" with an arrow written on it. Check the cache carefully. The fake sheet has been removed. And please replace exactly as found. It was out in the open but covered. Look for the log and the cache among the natural and man-made camo.
It has come my attention that someone has placed a false log sheet in the cache, which others have since logged, thinking it is the original one. Look for the real log in the item that would clearly have a switch to turn on a light. Twist to open to get to the log. I will get to the cache soon and remove the "fake" log sheet. Future finders who add a separate sheet or log the wrong one will have their log deleted.
New and struggled to find what I am looking for! Will come back with more experience
Found the cache container after a few minutes of circling. Then I opened it to find two logsheets!?! Removed the one not in the right spot. TFTC.
A quick visit to Sydney for a concert at the Enmore Theatre, have to do some caching in my spare time. TFTC
