IMPORTANT PLEASE DO NO ATTEMPT TO FIND THIS GEOCACHE, IT HAS BEEN MUGGED AND NO LONGER FINDABLE
Found with SelvaGirls, 11Pianoman and firebatman88 but like the last couple of finders - No logbook have a spare logbook but not a fan of replacing stuff if it's going to get muggled. Going to request maintenance from CO. As others have commented....maybe a different location?
Very much like the Captains experience, I arrived with a pretty good idea of what to expect but unfortunately when I flipped the rock and looked around, I couldnt see any logbook at all so I suspect it has been muggled. I would suggest moving the whole contraption to somewhere very nearby where its a little more hidden behind a tree or something, but anyway its a very good construction so TFTC and well done.
My ongoing effort to get out and find a geocache after work most weekdays continues and brings me out here to Birkdale. There was one other thing I wanted to check out too; a forgotten piece of history hidden in plain site and just begging for some more research and a geocache. But onto the existing geocache. This is on my list to fulfil one of my minor and continual personal challenges and otherwise afforded a good chance to stretch my legs a bit more this evening. I navigated to and parked at the mostest closest spot, then trotted off down the path. Past other joggers, kids on bikes, people walking dogs and farther along; a train. No more path for me, I went across the grass and arrived at GZ. It had just gotten dark enough to be perfect for a stealth mission of not being seen, but dark enough to have to flick on my phone torch to see any geocache. It took but a moment to spot the likely culprit and a flip later had me sure this item should harbour a geocache. Only, it was not. I looked but a metre or so away was the logbook out in the open. I added my name at 17:35 and put the logbook in the camouflage and replaced that as found. But it's clear someone knows this geocache is here.Too dark out now for more geocaches, so time to head home and ponder what's for dinner. Thanks for this geocache, Peothegeo26
We finally found it! Thank you to the owner for replacing the geocaching container. Our second visit was just a success. Very happy to try again after failing to find it for the first time.
One of the funnest Ive done with my friends. Whoever put it there is really smart.Hint: Look for only red/orange rock
A much quicker find than anticipated and a very cool cache to find tonight with SkyeMartin12! TFTC
I went and checked on it a little while ago, and I replaced the container today.
Found the caches home, but it has yet to be replaced. Didnt see the missing log until we already arrived.
TFTCAfter a hot humid play at Three Paddocks Park, the wee one was keen to find another treasure today. We found the hiding spot, but to our disappointment the log was missing Reported to the owner
A short walk from leaving the car at the end of Lachlan Street, and a nice little playground nearby. With all the rain that we had last night / this morning, the nearby creek drain was flowing quickly. Upon my arrival at GZ, it didn't take long to find the hinted rocky cache, and what a great cache! This is exactly what a cache technique should be like either an obvious container hiding/covered, or a camouflaged cache in somewhat plain sight. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. It looks like some serious work has been involved with this construction, so have a Favourite Point. Thanks Peothegeo26 for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This morning, it was an early start to 2024's New Year's Day to see the sunrise at the [Rise and Shine, it's 2024!!](https://coord.info/GCAHABE) event at Wellington Point. After a snorkel/dive/swim, Lota parkrun was attended and 5 km was jogged, and I got even wetter than my swim with a heavy rain downpour and drenching. It was then an opportunity to visit a few geocaches between Capalaba, Birkdale, and back to Wellington Point, before the rain became too much, and home was headed.
Tftc theothegeo, chose this park for our morning walk with some dogs we are pet sitting.Nice creative hide Favourite point, thanks for showing us this place.
We (RoddyC, hatzofff, and Imbunda) are caching this afternoon before an event tonight.Nicely done.Log signed and cache replaced as found on October 8, 2023. TFTC, Theothegeo26

I headed out in the geo-car for park run and for a few caches today.Decided to hit a few around Cleveland and surrounding areas.I found your cache, Rocky today. This is my 2319 find.Quick find, exactly as per hint.Peothegeo26, TFTC, TFTH & TFTSF
Out for another play day with Peppa and we have a tag-a-long called Chamad. Picked him up on our FTF hunt this morning and now we cant shake him.
No real plans just picking up unfound caches in the general area and some that need revisiting due to not being found last time.
Parking nearby, we made our way to GZ where we found the cache quickly.
Log signed, cache returned.

After my informal meetup with Patrol14 and Peppa, I managed to bully my way on to the travel plans for the day. Well I had no set plans so why not crash someone else’s plans. The day turned out to be a lot of fun and a puzzle solving exercise over some fine culinary choices.
We chased fairies and cats, we went to lagoons, bushlands and summits, we even did a river crossing and saw some whales. Ok these are parts of the cache names.
This was an easy find and one that took no time to find. It is nice to play games with the cache. the hint made sense.
Thanks for the cache all good here. We signed the log and replaced the cache as found.

Another random day of caching with Patrol14… which includes a hitchhiker in the form of Chamad…
Chamad had the cache in his hands within moments… nice work on the camo…
Thanks Peothegeo26

Excellent hiding spot! We looked at the hint after we found it... it would definitely have helped us find it quicker!
I found the coords to be about 9m out. The coords that worked for me were S 027° 29.689' E 153° 13.236'. Thanks for the fun Theothegeo26
Coordinates changed from:
S 27° 29.691 E 153° 13.241
Coordinates changed to:
S 27° 29.689 E 153° 13.236
Distance from original: 31.5 feet or 9.6 meters.
Lots of people were telling me the coordinates are wrong so I changed them to the correct location.

Lovely park that I would never have found without this cache. Thanks for the placing.
We noticed that this is a fairly new cache so thought we'd give it a go.
Going by our GPS, we found we had to widen our search somewhat. The clue helped us and lo and behold, there it was!! Thanks Theothegeo26.

Had to search around a few different areas as my GPS did not point me in the right direction. Once I found the hint the cache was found quickly. Thanks for placing
My Ferind hid this one he was the one the got me into geocaching.

Wow! I wasn't expecting that as a first hide.
I was in the general area for an appointment and remembered seeing this new listing.
The GPS was inconclusive as to where to search so I started in one location and moved a few things around and then shifted to a different area and concentrated my search around there for quite some time.
I was getting a bit concerned and then read all the information available again and something twigged and I remembered something that I had only looked at briefly and returned to inspect it more closely and located the cache.
The difficulty rating could possibly be a bit higher but others may disagree.

Well, I never??
Found fairly quickly this morning...and it was in the area I concentrated on yesterday. Don't feel too bad though as CO confirmed it was in the wrong spot this time yesterday.
All good?? just happy to turn the blue frown into a yellow smiley??
As for the hide; well done, I love it?
Thanks theothegeo26.

Finished work and saw that this one was still unfound so headed off to try my luck. I searched around for a while with no luck then I widened my search and found the prize about 8 mtrs away. Signed a brand new log, not often I get to do that. Replaced as found. TFTC
