The kids loved the purple clip someone had put in. Swapped it for one of their special crystals.
A bit tricky for me, but not for non geo hubby. TFTC windy here today. Heading east after holidaying in WA from Mid coast NSW.
We stopped in to have a look at the magnificent view and this was a quick find while on our way to the lookout
Visiting WA from Vic. Had a great weekend at WAGB and now heading E seeing the sights and ticking off LGA's.Cache was found quickly and signed. Great view from up hereTFTC SL TB's visited
Found by Mary and David at 13:55. Magnificent views. Met a lapsed cache, JaredB with lots of children. Gave up as premium membership became too expensive. Our thanks to Freddo.
Found with Nibletricecakes, KrispyStrips and k8tybee on our Road to Esperance trip. Quick find off the track. TFTC.
Find number 13669 at 8:55:42AM on Monday the 26 August 2024We're on our way to WA Goes Big, travelling from Croydon (Melbourne, Victoria) with a caravan in tow and making a leasurely caching holiday across the Nullarbor and back. After spending last night at Koonaldra Homestead we headed west again in the morning, not sure how far we'll get today, just driving, caching and golfing With a constant stream of tourists it had to be a well timed cross, run, sign, run and re-cross of no-mans land to snag this one **Thanks for placing this cache Freddo**---*WOW, so much happening here in Victoria*Dont forget to log your will attend for Victorias first ever Block Party in March 2025, the [**The Sunbury Event**](https://coord.info/GCAP417).Theres also all those lists of amazing geocaches at [Geocaching Victorias List webpage]( https://geocachingvictoria.com.au/information/great-caching-lists), go check them out.
You have to go where you shouldn't. There were three caravans and a car parked when I came in. The car and one caravan left shortly after and the other ones were in conversation. I don't think they saw me going off track. I could see were it is from the path which made for a quick sign and replace. TFTC
Quite windy today so the log tried to escape, just got it in time and added my name! Great to see the cliffs and a number of other visitors all happy to be out and say hello.Last night we stayed on one of the many camp sites on the Clifftops of the Bight, ending the day quite late at Maralinga. Quite a long day but great to spend time exploring Koonalda with its historic relics and caves. It is a superb fascinating area I'm pleased to have experienced. Opportunities to visit the clifftops of the bight not passed over as we were going past. Time was against us as we were to be at Maralinga that afternoon. A lot was missed but stopped for the big things too close to want to miss and still made it to our destination, set up and joined the other campers for the evening camp fire. Thanks for your cache!
Thanks. Cache in good dry condition with lots of paper. Added a small pencilSo cold wet and windy today!
I did not see Eyre today. But I spotted several whales and some even put on a show Poor signal made the virtuals and ECs challenging, tho no probs with any of the other caches TFTC Freddo
Found at 12:03 PM GAFF1.There is an old plaque at the Nullarbor Roadhouse that states that Eyre and his aboriginal guide survived hunger, sickness and "DEATH"!! A regular Lazarus he must have been Thanks to Freddo
2485 - Last evening after a nice meal at the Border Village Roadhouse, I headed back to my room to plan out the drive for today, including which caches I would target and which areas I would investigate and sightsee at. This cache looked like it offered both, so it was a definite stop on my way east. When I pulled into the car park here one caravan was just leaving so I had the place to myself, which was perfect timing for a cache like this where I needed to head off the beaten track so to speak. Found in good condition in the obvious hiding spot at 10:55am. Thanks for placing the cache here Freddo the Chocolate Frog and for showing off this part of the beautiful Aussie coastline.
Not only Eyre passed this way... so did a million flies today. I'd imagine Eyre was pretty impressed with the scenery along here.. we certainly were. TFTC Freddo.
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 15 - Yalata to Eucla via Nulllabor Roadhouse and Koonalda NP. The area along the Bunda cliffs was fantastic and the side trips well worth the extra dust involved. Lots of travelers in the Eucla van park. There was not a great deal of caching but I did a few side trips and saw some amazing places. A pity there is not way to get into some of the bigger caves anymore. This next viewpoint out onto the cliffs was no less inspiring than the other locations. As I walked out to give the earth cache a go, I stopped by this cache to sign my name on the cache in good condition. Thanks for the cache Freddo46736.6 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & PEACE FOR UKRAINE 2022 A#504**Albida**
On our travels we found ourselves heading west and took the opportunity to grab this cache, a beautiful walk to the lookout and a slow walk back waiting the muggles to leave and the cache was soon in hand, thanks for placing another fun cache
After leaving the Nullarbor Roadhouse, our next stop will be Madura for one night. The rest areas and along the way are such a highlight of this part of the trip. This was a quick find at GZ, and then we made our way down to the lookout for some more spectacular fuse under bright blue sky. Thanks Freddo Domsky
Making our way home to the SW of WA after attending The Great Leap Forward Mega event in Adelaide. Grabbing caches here and there along the Highway as we go, if there is room for car and van.Last night we camped a few kms east of Nullarbor Roadhouse, we were later joined by two wizzbangers and a truck, and apparently a few other trucks that I didnt hear pull up , didnt hear them leave either and they would have been less than 50m from us, oops I slept well .A nice easy find tho would have preferred it being closer to the boardwalk as hard to be stealthy when having to get to GZ
#805 ~ Whilst I didnt have signal & couldnt read what I was looking for the compass navigated me to the right location. Was a little concerned going off the track but soon had cache in hand and log signed. Was very happy to discover a TB hiding out here Took TB Travel One to travel with me. TFTC Freddy!!
On the way to Adelaide mega.Sign the log as EV, and thanks for the cache and hunt
Found whilst touring the areaBit of a drive in but well worth itGreat spot & quiet today TFTC Freddo
Curious as to how others got this cache as I'm sure I looked pretty awkward. TFTC! Lovely views at this location. Dropped of my little Toucan friend to finish his adventures.
On the long drive home and so glad we decided to pop down here for a look. Its certainly a dramatic seascape. Cache was obviously placed before the fences were installed. Waited for other people to clear out before hopping through and making the find. TFTC
On the 2nd leg of the long haul east, Norseman to Nullarbor today. Stopped by here to checkt he views although we near got blown off the cliffs in the gales. The muggle man was none to pleased when I then headed towards GZ, so thankfully it was a pain free find. Thanks for the hide here Freddo the Chocolate Frog
After spending a few days in Gawler it was time for to drive my mums (well my car now) from Gawler back to Perth. This was day two travelling from Streaky Bay to Border Village on a 5 day 3,100km adventure. It was very bleak and cold morning 13c bult felt like 5 in Ceduna and the temp did get somewhat better later in the day. Did not have a jumper as i left Perth in a heatwave and arrived to one in SA. .Ended up buying a jumper at Ceduna. Now for a contrast the day before ranged between 36 and 45!!!And there are hundreds of signs saying do not drive tired so geocaching helped with that. The weather did eventually turn out nice for a while and i arrived here and there was no one else around. It was blowing an absolute gale here and was difficult just trying to walk to the lookout. This was a very quick find.Found lots of caches on the trip. Thanks for the cache and making me get out and stretch and to see this amazing place freddo frog - i prefer strawberry freddo frogs rather then chocolate.
We have been here 4 times in November and it has always been windy and raining so we thought we'd try October. It was beautiful today, the sun and clouds put on a show.Just love the Nullarbor cliffs.
A quick trip to WA from SA and returned to Adelaide in seven and a half days including two days of packing. The track into GZ was a bit rough. Hard to believe Sandyofthesea and i were here only few hours after CTBH, another geocaching duo.TB dropped.Freddo, I found Eyre passed this way today. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache.* * * * * * *SAs Leap Year Event - GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Keep looking up!
We found after looking at the gorgeous view. What a spectacular part of the country. Thanks for the hunt

I so hate that road. So short with enormous potholes. Nice hide.

Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor. We are on the home stretch now and picking up a few stragglers along our route, and this was one of the stragglers, we loved the history and the views. TFTC.
Travelling with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. After spending some time in Peterbough, Minlaton, Moonta,Whyalla and Wudinna we are now headed home. Thanks Freddo

Travelling Australia in our caravan since February 2014.
Stopping a few days at Highway1 Tourist Park as the GeoCruiser is in for some repairs. Today we ducked out to tackle a few surrounding caches including some puzzles solved when we first hit the road! Taken a while to get here.

Found during three weeks away with e.gregory1 on a trip along WA's Great Central Road and a caching circuit of the WA Goldfields. We travelled North on the Stuart Highway and out to Kings Canyon to Uluru and Kata Tjuta. From there we headed in a south-westerly direction along the Great Central Road with a number of detours along the way, including Surveyor Generals Corner and Empress Spring. Then it was down to Laverton and Leonora before turning South to Menzies and Kalgoorlie. A few days were spent on a circuit back up to Lake Carey and around to Queen Victoria Spring before returning to Kalgoorlie, then out to Coolgardie, Kambalda and Norseman, and heading for home along the Eyre Highway. Today we traveled from Caiguna to Nullabor finding caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Freddo!
Found on another enjoyable trip with FeatherWaite over 3-weeks through South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia. This time the plan was to head up to Kings Canyon, across to the WA border via Uluru and Kata-Tjuta, then down the Great Central Road, with a few side-trips along the way before eventually getting to the Goldfields and then home via Queen Victoria Springs and the Eyre Highway.
We had some mixed weather to start, with a few overnight showers initially, but mostly warm and sunny days. The nights were often cold though!
A quick find in a place I’ve been many times before.
Thanks Freddo for the cache.

Half the team had to start heading east for their own medical appointments appointment while the other half stayed with their friends in Geraldton. I'm heading down south and had to pick up a few caches to break up the drive. I'm concentrating mainly on adventure labs, virtual's and earth caches as you don't have to worry about muggles as much but I'm also stopping for any that look like as though they maybe a quick find.
Eyre and Wylie may have passed by here but I was not going too. With a trad and an earh cache for the one park why would I.
I studied the GPSr for some time here but GZ did not change. I then saw something suspicious in the distance and knew that would be the hide. I headed off to GZ for a nice quick find and added our name to the log and returned as was. I was just heading back to the track and I could hear a vehicle coming so my timing was excellent.
Many thanks Freddo the chocolate Frog for the cache and great information.
