Checked on the cache today and it is gone. As I have had no success in adopting this cache I will not be replacing it. I also know the owners will not be returning to WA.
Thought that this one had been muggled when I couldn’t find it at the tree described in the notes. Only had to widen my search a LITTLE before it was revealed . My eyes lit up when I discovered that it had 2 TBs in it, and I grabbed them both (Fishyvore and Roving Docker). For swaps, I took a small tennis-ball key ring and left an emergency resus mask. Thanks Team Cache Hunters.
Revisited today and dropped off TBs Fishivore and Roving Docker. Had them in my possesion for a while as I was out of touch.
Our one and only find for the afternoon, well we did get sidetracked with coffee and cake at one of the local nurseries!!
Easy find in a lovely park, great to run your dog around. I've been to this one before but it had been muggled that time. So 2nd time lucky!

Walked from Ellison Drive through the long grass to get here, which wasn't such a good idea as the ground is pock-marked with holes! Lucky we didn't snap an ankle I spose. Found the tree easily, but those prickly blackberries are horrible! Had a good hunt and Ursula eventually found the cache 8m from the listed co-ordinates. The clips to hold the lid on are getting brittle and starting to break away. Future cachers should note that the container is not white as listed, it's black, as it has been covered in black tape. We enjoyed a nice evening walk to get back to the car though. TN-LN-SL.
Thanks for the hunt Arlorggen. (seeing as how you've taken it over now)

I know I looked at the right tree, just didn't find anything except brambles (blackberries?).
First find of the day. had a non caching friend with me who wanted to know about caching so we made a day of it.Left nothing but took TB Roving Docker.
A-ha! Thats where the coin went...no log in logbook so wondered if it was another classic cache with TB symbol but no TB.
Left Roving TB all the same..Go Dockers (Bring back Clive Waterhouse!)
Left Roving TB all the same..Go Dockers (Bring back Clive Waterhouse!)
Found the tree with no problems 3 of us searched for 30 minutes through the long grass and blackberry's with no luck. Tried all the obvious places around the area. It may be worth a look to see if it is still there.
I took the opportunity to drop a geocoin while doing a maintenance visit.
The co ordinates I have included were taken by placing my GPSr on the limb directly over the caches hiding spot. The grass has grown a lot since I place the container and a few blackberry vines are growing close but at the moment wont interfere with retrieval of the cache.
Happy hunting

[I have replaced the cache with a 700ml round sistema container which is hidden away from the base of the tree] under the fallen trunk covered with bark [small items can be swapped.]
Seeing as this was back and I was passing I stopped and found it. No swaps.
Thanks for the hunt.

Well Zeus on the loose shouldn't feel too bad, as this goose spent 30 mintues bashing around looking for it. Lost some blood in the process to the blackberry bushes, and took a few prickles away with me. Found some evdence of it having been trashed after my ordeal.
And now we know why....
Had this printed to do last weekend but didnt get around to it so therefore didnt realise that it didnt exist. There we were hunting high and low, in and out.read the clues all said that it was an easy find so why couldn't we find it!!!!
Shame, however although locals never new this park existed so thanks for introducing it to us.

Went back today (Sunday) as per last log as better attired and less muggles. Looked all over the burnt out broken off tree but alas no cache...and now I know why! Doh!!!
Thanks for showing my owner a nice place to run me though.

Found the mess - no white container and log book... but I found things which it was everywhere so I collected all the items and took a photo. So what shall I do with it? As I brought it back with me (here at home).
Made it as far as the carpark but there were a few people around and a Telstra van rolled up as well so thought Id leave it to the weekend.

Had lunch in the park then took a pleasant stroll up the river to find the cache. It was a little damp and maybe the container needs a bit of maintenance.

Ranger1 spotted the cache & we all hurried to where he was...Big as can be...just love this ozzie caches. Now for Gosnells & maybe a night cache be4 we head back to Singapore.

Found it - Lot easier with GPS on correct Datum. Tried a couple of weeks ago but obviously looking the wrong place.
We are new to this game and this was only our second one ever, we tried to pick the easier ones as a starting point for us to learn how this all works and this was just perfect. Our kids are just loving all the fun, and us adults are enjoying the extra bit of exercise. Mossies were a bit of a problem though.

We came, we saw, we found and we left. Things looking a little damp inside, but unfortunately I didn't have anything with me to try and dry things off and today was not the weather for it either.
As a note, the dangly things mark out a canoe/kayak course and are known as gates. They usually can be slid and repositioned at any point across the river. I didn't know there was a course on the Canning River, only one I knew about was the one below Stirling Dam at Harvey where they held the Commonwealth games, not sure if that is in use now though because of Harvey's connection to the metro water supply. Can't imagine Cannin River being used for a white water competition though...
Had a great bike ride today and found this one on the way. Contents a bit soggy. took nothing left sparkles.
The dangly things are a canoeing course for those that want to practice their skills. They have been there since I moved to this area some 25 year ago.
Waited while a Muggle and CanineMuggles went past, then Papa Bear distracted the blackberries on the wrong side of the tree, leaving Mama Bear free to pick up the cache...
No swaps, but we did pick up PaddyK's TB.

Found this one today. Cache was a bit wet in side and most of the items were rather skanky due to the water. The logbook inside its sealed bag was fine though so I felt confident leaving Aussie Spirit #1 travel bug inside a similarly sealed bag. Took Nothing.
Id Strongly advise the owner of this cache to take it down for refurbishment.
Really nice area (though a few blackberry bushes to be avoided) and a suprising amount of Muggles like to walk it. Had to be careful. Was thankful for them at the end of my trek when I discovered I had locked my keys in the car and a couple of kind passers-by were able to help me break in. At least now if I am ever on the run from the authorities I have new skills.

Missed it on the way out, talking too much. Paid more attention on the way back and found it easily. Our first find at this new past time. TNLN
Went searching late this afternoon. It had been raining (on and off) all day and was already getting a bit dark. Ended up coming in from the wrong side (unfamiliar teritory) but had to walk around because there was a lot of water around. By the time we got there, it was dark, very wet, very tall grass and swarming with mozzies.... Took a few minutes to find using just the tiny LED torch in my Mobile phone... The cache was looking a bit tired to me... Took small action figure (he had been there over two years!) and placed a packet of pencils.
Tried to find a "shortcut" back to our car but gave up because it was too wet....
We did have fun though

Found it nice 'n easy drop while we were in the area. Dropped "Fishing Buddy" travel bug. He's been with us for a while now, I hope in future he has more luck.
Nice little place I didn't even know existed. Received a few scratches from the lovely thorn bushes - ouch.
Found without too much trouble - exept for them (rose??) bushes - THEM DAMNED PRICKLES!!! Left a gel pen and a calling card, took nothing.
couldn't hang around long.. had to get home so i could get ready for the cross dressing party... fun

Second for the morning and another easy one. Interesting area, needing some tender loving care, I think. Looks interesting further along the track. T: McDonalds Eagle. L: Chrysler Protono Cruizer moterised kit car. Thanks for the hunt Team Cache Hunters.
There seems to be so many interesting and suitable cache hiding spots along our rivers and here's another one.
Once on the right track a relatively easy find. Cache found intact and in good condition.
Took: Nothing.

Great hiding spot. Spur of the moment find so TNLN. Will be better prepared for the next one.
Found after a few false starts (the wrong dirt tracks etc). When we got to the cache we found it open, with the contents spilled out. Filled in the log and replaced all the items.

Followed the GPSr without log notes or reference to a street directory only to get within 4m and facing a major obstacle! The cache name didn't help when one is not a local. Then had to negotiate some major traffic jams on the way due to bridge works. Finding the cache made up for it in the end
Found by Skippy @ 1.25pm
Walked with ducks to cache, Now how did they know I was looking for this cache. This is one lovely park, pity about the 2 stroke motorbikes making unnecessary noises.
Took lion and Left koala.
Thanks John for showing me a beautiful park.

Found at 2055 on a another beautiful night for caching. I pretty easy find--my GPSr put me within three metres of the cache, and the rest was a snap. Nice big container. [^]

Pleasant walk. Coordinates were good, walked right up to it. Took nothing, left a pen and a pencil and a kinder toy from the inside of a chocolate Easter egg. Sorry, couldn't leave the egg, of course. Thanx for the hunt.
Found cache... good location - not so easy to find cache, co-ords slightly out. Good hunt in prickly bushes. Took glitter - left card game and card. 13:00
This was one of my more humorous finds.
Upon arriving at the destination, I looked where I thought would be a good hiding spot for a cache. There, I found a plastic bag with something inside – a bit unusual, but I thought this must be a “budget†cache. Inside the bag were some 30 condoms – but no log book! I finally realized this was not a joke and the real cache must still be there somewhere. After searching for 5 minutes without success I started to think, perhaps our optimistic Romeo had done a runner with the cache. Then I found it – well hidden. Took nothing, Left … lets just say a few surprises.

Another pleasant walk on a lovely day. We are going to places we would never have been but for geocaching. Left "Birdie" and took a teaspoon.
Visited today with VK6HBG.
The track was quite sloppy and wet under foot, but we found the cache quite easily. We put a racer toy into the cache and took the hat.
Beware of the number of 'strange' people hanging around the carpark...! The area is attractive not just to Geocachers.

After finding River Gum, this was the next cache on my list. What a lovely spot this is, next to the river. I had no idea that this beautiful spot was even there. Great spot for a summer picnic.
Saw this one was 800m from home so did it after dinner. A lot of mozzies around at dusk so take the RID.easy find and alot of fun.Took candle, left action figure.

2pm Saturday. Found it using the tree as a reference. Put in a packet of Crayons took nothing. The cache is to the left of the track and about 5 meters off it. Watch out for the little ants they are everywhere. Lyn Pat and Nathan.
Well done a nice cache. Found it quite easily. It was well hidden. Thank you. Took nothing and left a candle and glitter glue
Dragged my lazy butt out of the pool on this 41 degree day & went searching. Those mulberry bushes certainly are nasty. Left a pair of sunnies and took nothing.

Easily found. The cache remains in good condition, but is running a little low on stuff to swap.

Found today, nice place I have not been along this stretch of the river since I was about fifteen when we used to paddle a canoe along here.
found the cache no prob's but when i turned to walk out I walked out a different way so as not to make a permanent track leading to it.
Took only a card and left our card, loved the ants.
Was the first to find this cache. took the cd thinking it was the europe datasend but it turned out to be the Australian datasend. as i have this one allready i will place it in another cache for some one else.
We have placed the travel bug: Oink's in this cache.
