Logs
Continuing our sightseeing around Tamworth on our last day in town we stopped in to find this cache. We started the AdLab part of this yesterday and finished it off today at the nearby Marcupial Park. Once done we had the co-ords needed so headed to GZ. We couldn't see anything first up then we read in a previous log where the co-ords were out a bit. We expanded our search and saw the obvious spot about 20m from where we had GZ to be.TFTC
A very enjoyable AL. Sadly I didnt have my kiddos with me today but we have been to most of these places on previous visits to Tamworth. AL app was down for part of today, so wasnt sure if Id be able to finish this one. Thankfully it came back online with about half an hour of opening hours left! Coords are a little way out but it was the only box so find was quickly made. TFTC and AL
We completed the AL today after starting it yesterday. The hint was used as the coords pointed us to an open spot in the car park, coords were about 15m out. Thanks for the hide ALFIE77JC1.
Finished another long trip around Australia. The 6th. Finished trip to Townsville to grab the Palm Island LGA. Now only 2 LGAs to complete Australia.Firstly heading back south for some Canberra time.TFTC. Moving further south I cached in a few towns. Spent a couple of hours in Tamworth and then down towards Scone. Many interesting caches and scenery including Burning Mountain and some letterboxes around Moombi.I managed to get another tick. Not sure where from.Found over 15m from GZ. Hint helped.
We almost forgot this bonus as we were taken in by the area and only thought to look for it when leaving. We searched for quite a while and the clue didn't seem to make sense until we looked further afield. We decided to have a quieter day today, so relaxed and then went out to look for some caches in and around town and also some Ad Labs. They took us to many of the local sights and features so it was a slowish journey with a few diversions as well.Mostly finds, but a few DNFs as well, maybe because the Council has done some pruning or maybe just because we were too tunnel visioned.Thank you for your efforts in creating and maintaining the cache ALFIE77JC1.**SKI Pair****
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. Making our way to Broken Hill for Mundi Mundi Bash. Staying a few days in Tamworth to allow for some chores. Today was all about caching lunch packed and off we set to tackle some trails. Sure kept us busy today only getting home after sunset. We found your cache today. TFTC ALFIE77JC1
Another visit to tamworth and still some caching to be done. An easy day today, picking up a few around town. Completed the nearby Ad Lab and found this one quite a bit away from GZ, BUT it is easy enough to find given the hint.Total Caches Found 16048TFTC ALFIE77JC1
While staying in Tamworth for a few days with my geodog Scruffy , We just had to get out and find a few caches ...About 15m out but pretty obvious location. All Good .. TFTC ..
Reperio 09:37Day 5 of our tour of Tamworth/Armidale caching trip, and today, Master Vitruvius and I were able to focus on more of the caches closer to the Tamworth area, and then progressively head home to Orange. This one didnt take long to find once we were at GZ. We explored Marsupial Park for an hour or so, and then ventured back out to grab this one.Gratias ALFIE77JC1As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

Found where it is supposed to be but it looks as if it is gone. We had a great time with this adventure.

After completing the AL it was on to do this Bonus Cache. Found the cache at GZ and signed log . TFTC. Giving a FP for the AL itself. TFTC
After a fantastic trip to Cape York I'm wandering down solo zigzagging around picking up LGA's and concentrating on adventure labs, virtuals and earth caches as you don't have any muggle problems with those. I really enjoyed this adventure lab and I wish I was 60 odd years younger I would have been making use of a lot of the attractions you took us to. I started heading off and then realized that there was a bonus cche so I had to come back. re-parked and wandered off to try my luck at that one. Happily it was a nice easy find especially with the hint and our name has been added to the log and everything returned as it was. Many thanks ALFIE77JC1 for the fantastic adventure lab and also for this bonus cache
Found by Mary and David at 09:10. Couldn't believe that the Marsupial Park was free. Loved the talking corella with a big vocabulary, and seeing the beautiful red-tailed black cockatoo. We didn't tackle the hill, so didn't see any marsupials, just lots of birds. Gets a FP. Our thanks to ALFIE77JC1.
Streak Day #3733 - Up in Tamworth for the weekend with Dave8153. Stopped by for s quick find. TFTC
30 September 2023This is find number: 8833Streak Day: 2844Found Today with Snoopy1976, in town for the weekend and stopped by for the find. ThanksThanks to ALFIE77JC1 for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
After completing the AL , finally the final coords had been added after 4 months. . Can see why some dnfs recently, as also said it was near the last element in the AL, well thats not right, as the AL is noted nonsequential, so depends which one is done last. It should be noted to do the Marsupial Park last..Ended up with a push from FTF. The CO may like to check the final coordinates as they were out by around 15 metres..Geocachers may like to extend the search if not readily located. TFTC
Good to see the Bonus coords have been added to the labcache now, unfortunately too late for us Victorians!
This is a bonus cache for completing ‘Keeping the kids Keen’ but there isn’t any clues to gain the coordinates within the adventure labcache.
We note the only finders of this cache brute forced this find, we did try but failed.

Not as clever as the last finder. Didn’t get any new Coordes. And didn’t like hanging around the area – not a good look. Disappointing end
Apologies for the late log here (14.01.24) but I've had a busy time since getting back to the UK.No luck for me here, bit I had enjoyed the ALs and my look around. Not 100% sure I was in the right area but... well, some you win, as I'm fond of saying SP (UK) on an epic trek right around the world.
