Further over Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha, Karijini NP, Exmouth and now down the coast to Perth .After Coral Bay we headed further on the road and stopped for this one .Cool, another favo in this town . Even talked with the neighbour just on the opposite side of the road about Geocaching .TFTC# 17'254
Found at 12:33 PM GAFF1.Arriving in Carnarvon from Gascoyne Junction and we had a couple of urgent things to do - laundry and a big was down of the car and van after a few hundred kms of very dusty and at times muddy tracks over the past few days. After all of that was sorted out, we unhitched our van at the boat ramp and then went exploring this town again First cache was this one and it stood out for a cacher - especially the geocaching sign, but it was quite loose in its position so after we signed the log book we jammed some sticks and bark around the edges to strengthen the integrity of the hide Thanks to SKMADV
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 94 - Carnarvon Day 2. After a huge day yesterday, I was hoping for a relaxed day today. I started off with a visit to the Carnarvon Space museum. It is very impressive, they have lots of stuff, but not all of it is explianed. The mock up moon lander is very impressive and the outside dishes are huge. I ten headed into town to have lunch with dghoffy, another east coast cacher catch up. The afternoon then became a time to do the second set o labs and the rest of the traditional caches around town. I again met up with dghoffy and we did a few caches together. I had been thinking of an evening outing, but I was not up to it and had dinner in the van and an early night. Tomorrow is the drive to Coral Bay. This small park looked very nice, but no one was using it. I made use of some of the facilities, including finding the cache. Thanks for the cache SKMADV48693.4 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Lackey Oceansazui A#499**Albida**

Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia for four or five weeks. Camped out along Milinya-Exmouth Road before heading southward to spend most of the day around Carnarvon and on to our next campsite somewhere near Overlander Roadhouse, finding a few caches along the way. Thanks for the cache SKMADV!
Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. Last night we camped south of Coral Bay and this morning we continued traveling south towards Carnarvon and beyond.A quick find. We had some lunch while we were here. Thanks SKMADV for the cache.

Great spot for lunch. Nice view no one around. Giving a favourite for the plain view hide. Left asticker and aSTL TFTC
Camping trip to Gnaraloo Station Today's drive was from Gero to Carnarvon, and with no caches left to be found along that remote leg of the journey it was great to reach Carnarvon and pick up the new caches placed here since my last visit. After setting up camp, I headed out for a drive around town and stopped off here along the way. Park was empty and I was able to make a very fast find. Liked the set up here - have a fave point No problems here today - TFTC
Back on holidays chasing the sun, travelling around and collecting a few caches on our way. Found your cache easily and it was in good condition. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of holiday.
Awesome thanks for the cache. I remember when this was a caravan park. Gee that was awhile go
Out for a road trip up north to try out our new camper and grabing a couple of caches on the way.
After our parkrun we spent the rest of the day having a look around Carnarvon and grabbing a couple of caches.
This is where we started parkrun from this morning but I didn't realise it at the time so we came back in the evening and had a BBQ dinner nearby and came over and made a quick grab.
It gets a favourite from me.

Hi there SKMADV. On holidays and while staying in Carnarvon over winter we found this cache at 0207pm after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to SKMADV for this cache - our find 10533 and the 1st of 1 finds for the day.
FieldNotes: The cache and log were both found in good condition. Shortly after retrieving the cache, a Taxi and then a second car full of 'locals' stopped next to me. I placed the cap on the container and retreated to my car to sign the log then waited for a quiet moment before returning to replace the cache itself.

Beautiful morning in town. The park was empty making for a quick find. Thanks for the hide.
We are having a little bit of time off from helping our friends in Nanson we decided to head north to try and collect a few more LGA's and Lab caches and anything else that pops up on screen.
We are continuing our tour around carnarvon and this was the next on the list. They have done a great rehabilitation job around here of what once used to be a caravan park but we were glad that it was deserted today meaning that we were fairly free to search and happily the cache was located quite quickly and the log book now contains our name.
Many thanks for bringing us here, the history and the hide, a favourite point from us.

Yippee for Carnarvon CO’s! I’m out and about on the trusty treadles AKA the MTB on a multi mission. Quick find at GZ. The trip is making me think about re-imagining Australian history! In Carnarvon for a few days with plenty of time to explore. Have travelled WEST from home base 4200 km away and that includes altitude as well so enjoying the landscape and habitat changes of this BIG country. TFTC and the lure to visit.
Found easily with hint, muggle corellas watching with interest , TFTC on this fine sunny day
