#4841 As we approached GZ we noticed something just a little suspicious.Cache was found, logged and replaced. TFTC.
Quick find in the dark during a night of caching adventures with Turtle284 and DeadThief.Thank you Aquilus1 for the cache!
Out and about with Toy Hunters and Air Scouts for a night hike. This is the first cache for the night and for some of the scouts their first cache ever. They are pooling their swaps to put some in the cache. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Found with isopeda and my Air Scouts whilst doing the night cache tonight on Mt Stranger. Huge thanks to the CO for their assistance with my risk assessment. And thanks for replacing this specific cache so quickly! Scouts found it after a couple of minutes of searching in the wrong spot. We added some swaps for the next finders. Lovely walk, TFTC A1!
Unfortunately no luck for me. Had a good search, but uncovered nothing that was required.
Searched around for a while without success, CO has been notified, has likely been muggled.
My daughter and I left Brisbane on Wednesday night, and made it to Canberra after lunch yesterday after a stop to see her brother in Sydney on Thursday noghtIn town to enjoy a few days of the Canberra Mega before heading to Melbourne for a family birthday party. After our first night in our accom I was up early while she caught up on sleep and picked up a few early morning caches Found a safe place to park and was soon at ground zero where the cache was quickly located. Log book signed ( needs a new one by the way )and back to the car and off on the next challenge.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
TFTC Aquilus1 your cache Stranger Way that we found today. We are in Canberra for the fun and games of the Mega. Tonight we were out on the Mt Strange Night Cache tour. While on the trail we stopped at the various other caches on the trail. All caches were signed MST1 or Mount Strange Tour depending on size of logbook.Find Count: 19357
We came to Canberra for the Geobash Event and couldn't resist booking some of the great tours on offer. Tonight, one of us took part in the wonderfully guided Nightcache Tour. Following the bright and shiny markers we found several caches on the way - this was one of them; signed as STG.Thanks Aquilus1 for the guided tour and the cache
Geobash Easter Mega - Day #1 (Maundy Thursday 28/3)Day one of my mega trip started with a very early wake up and with a leaving time of 5:22am. This is so I could get to my first of three (pre-registered) tours over the weekend which was at Parliament House (on time). It was a great tour and I learn/saw lots which I hadnt seen before. Of course we also found the caches nearby. Once the tour was over we went our separate ways. For myself, I went to check in at the mega site. Got all my goodies and even bought a Geobash Bucket Hat. Afterwards, I went with a couple of others to find the nearby Letterbox. Afterwards it was time to head to the nearby event (GCAKGK0). It was a great event for everyone to catch up. I ducked off early and found the nearby caches. I then went and got ALs plus saw some suspicious characters getting dinner. They invited me to tonights Mt Stranger tour. So of course I had to go. It was great fun walking around and find the night cache as well as others nearby. TB visit. If the cache wasnt signed as JohnoMawbs, it was signed as JM or as the tour group name. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTEs & TFTCs Signed as STG. This cache was one of those we found while on the tour. A nice quick find and soon it was signed and replaced. Another great find to add to the list. Now off to the next one.
Part of the Sandgroper contingent that has come to the Mega to explore new hunting grounds. Its sure to be a great week with many finds and laughs with lots of great friends and maybe some new ones along the way. Thank you for placing this cache for our enjoyment. Logged as STG

Day 2 of my magnificent mega caching experience in Canberra and surrounds.Today I C Nothing, meme28, geotrakka, Burns345, neva2old & I (signing as WA6) focussed more on the central Canberra area with a couple of tours booked at Parliament House & the Australian War Memorial, was fantastic to see these places and meet caches from all over the place too.The evening was spent on another mega tour at Mt Stranger.Once again a great variety of cache types and containers were located and with a large group the competition to get hands on the log first was high, with plenty of laughs along the way too. Thanks Aquilus1 for placing Stranger Way for me and others to find.I added my name to the log at 20:13 on 28/3/2024.This is find number 8407 for me.
Mount Stranger Tour Group - night tour. There were some new and familiar faces tonightWandering along with torchesCache found with no issues. Cheers
The Adelaide Leap Day Mega and Canberra Geobash gave us a great excuse for a road trip. This trip has shown us so many new and interesting places as weve chased LGAs, oldies, challenges, interesting D/T combinations, rarer cache types and favourites.Meeting up with friends old and new along the way, we sometimes cached together and sometimes alone but always had a great time. Tonight we joined the Mt Stranger Night Cache Tour led by the lovely CO. Armed with torches we all set off on this fairly easy walk up, over and around Mt Stranger, following the very well set up reflectors and stopping to find caches we passed along the way. A most enjoyable way to spend the evening. Thanks for placing and maintaining this cache for us and adding to our enjoyment.
Very happy to be here for my first Mega event from WA. Out on a night adventure woohoo! Signing as STG ( stranger tour group)My personal aim is to try and boost my numbers to hit my next milestone whilst here. Many thanks Aquilus1 for placing this hide for me to find and adding to my adventures.
Great HideThanks Aquilus1 for the cacheJames0116Wednesday, 27 Mar 20249:07:16pm AEDT4172
An enjoyable evening walk around the reserve picking up caches on the practice night tour. A great way to spend Saturday night. Thanks for bringing me along.
After an afternoon in the sub terrain, this evening we joined one of the sample tours and wandered with a number of others. There were roughly 20 odd teams who wandered the hill tonight in the dark. Following the lights, we made our way along the designated route collecting caches along the way. No issues with the caches along the route. Thanks heaps for the tour Aquilus1
We spent earlier in the day down in the tunnels with a group of people, then it was time to spend the evening in the dark with another group of people. We put our hands up to join this night Geobash sample tour. Which was a great walk in the dark with torches shining every which way. There was no issues with any of the caches along the way being we had the CO with us. All were found and signed as a group. Thanks for the hide and the night tour walk Aquilus1
The tour is going great. Everyone is cheerful and its dark enough. Lots of bright reflectors to show us the way. Thanks for getting me out and about Aquilus1
#9109 Tonight iplod65 and I joined a trial night-tour of the caches on Mt Stranger. We had to drive through a heavy storm past the airport so we wondered how it would turn out. We need not have worried as it was completely dry at the start. The night tour was a blast and we'll attended by about 21 people, so it was a good trial and everyone seemed happy with it. Thanks Aquilus1 for this Traditional Cache
Find # 11076Out in the Capital GeoBash trial Mt Stranger night tour accompanied by 20 or so others. A great selection of caches to find on this circuit, and an easy path to follow. There are so many well defined reflector markers, youd have to have your eyes closed not to be able to easily find your way. A bit uneven underfoot in places so appropriate footwear ?? recommended, and a good torch ??. Some pretty tall grass to wade through for some of the finds, all well maintained and it good condition.Great fun with a bunch of equally eager enthusiasts! ?? Thanks Aquilus1 ??????????
Found on the Capital GeoBash Mt Stranger sample night tour. Fun night with lots of wonderful people! TFTC & tour, was great to try something different!
With plenty of time on my hands, I headed down south for today's cache. It was a bright sunny morning, already heating up quickly. The short walk to this cache was not bad and only a little but off trail in the long grass. A nice big container and the log was signed before heading back to the car to go home for an afternoon of chores around the house. Thanks for the cache Aquilus145425.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & May 2017 Stones of Legend Amethyst A#361**Albida**
I came up here just as the last light was fading from the sky. Without too much fuss, the cache was found, the log was signed, and I was on my way for the evening. Thanks for the cache P.S I loved the Sistema container with the red clips!! Ive never seen it in that colour before and it was a nice change from the usual lock and lock containers with the blue clips.
This little journey for today is almost over ..I can see civilization again...enjoy walk through the hills with the occasional fence squeeze.. found this cache along the way.

A lovely sunny day in the ACT. all blue skies.
So we took the dog for a walk over Mt Stranger and collected a few caches.
Always good to have a cache that highlights the entrance to the park.
This good sized cache did just that.
Thanks, Robmc.

Thanks, Aquilus1!
A quick pickup of the new group of three caches on our way west for a hike. A familiar location with plenty of grass and Roos ??????and caches giving us a little more exercise than anticipated. TFTC Aquilus1.
I saw the notifications for three new caches in Bonython last night - the closest being just over 3km away. With dinner about ready an an episode of hard quiz ready to play, I opted to stay put and let the FTF aficionados battle it out. Turns out there was no battle, and I could have finished dinner and then walked to GZ for a successful first find. Oh well, the view from each of these caches is much better by daylight anyway!
Thanks for these new caches, Aquilus1
