I made the poor decision yesterday to leave this trail for today. Little did I know we were in for a decent storm this morning. The tracks were quite water logged in spots with many large branches to small twigs scattered over them. All the 8 caches that I found on this trail were in good condition. I shall return when the weather (and thus tracks) are better. The 4wders that were out enjoying the mud probably wondered what in the world this crazy woman was doing on a bike out here. TFTC Hard to reach for a shorty, dropped a travelbug
TFTC TBS. Thought I might need a prop for this one, but no need. Jimmytherat with Noelle04
Found by caughtatwork on 24/08/2024 at 11:45:00 AMA nice find on a weekend of geocaching in and around the Shepperton area.Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for placing this geocache here for us to find today, for without those who like to hide geocaches, there would be nothing around for those who like to find geocaches.*Overall Experience: 3*GAFF1
Rated: for Overall Experience
11:06Staying in Shepparton for a few days, today being our last, we made an all out effort to find some more of the 'gems' hidden around the flats. A BIG thank you to the CO who placed these caches.36941
After the Tatura event, I took the deadly treadly to The Flats in Shepparton-Mooroopna.I had ridden some of these when they first came out, but had not come back for the newer ones.Today was the day. A lovely mild day for a ride. All the tracks and trails were dry, although the thistles were head high.I initially park the car near Little and Cemetery Roads intersection and unloaded the bike.I ride clockwise around to #47, then went back to the car for lunch. In the afternoon I moved down to the other end of Cemetery Road to try the eastern caches.A lot of walking to get to some of the caches. Thanks for this series, Robmc.
The plan started out as a day at the CFA Championships in Mooroopna supporting our Echuca Fire Brigade team (they did very well with 6x1st, 1x3rd, 4x4th and 3x5th out of 24 events and more than 40 teams from Vic, NSW, and WA). There was a little bit of catching up with CFA members from other brigade and some firefighters from other states then and drive through the scrub to target some caches with specific hide dates. It's obvious this bush is the dumping ground for abandoned and burnt cars.Thank you, The Blind Side, for this cache.#4288. Log signed at 1431Hrs.(I often sign the log book as "W+W" to save paper/time/ink)
Full time Nomads, travelling around Australia since 2014. In Shepparton for a few days as we wend our way towards Canberra for the GeoBash. Today we decided to explore how far we could take the GeoCruiser exploring the Moor-Shepp Hidden Gem Trail. Boy the flooding has made a mess of the tracks in here. Those we tackled we were able to drive to within 150mts today.TFTC The Blind Side [^]
Headed out thinking I would be unable to reach this one due to the rising river but to my surprise it was high and dry.Left a necklace that I grabbed while caching on the way back from Jindabyne earlier in the year.On the countdown now...TFTC
Cache found and log signed with dalerious. Shepparton police have placed out a warrant for the arrest of a Caucasian male who is known by the alias TBS. He is wanted for the crime of inciting mass boredom to his fellow geocachers, by not publishing caches, as he has left the state to persue non cache related activities over the border.Police urge the geocaching community not to approach this fiend, but to report his whereabouts to their local station post haste.Alternatively, you can call geocrimestoppers and report your sighting to Senior Constable catnap777. You may remain anonymous.
I don't know what we are going to do when we run out of these caches in this forest. [B)] I guess catnap777 and I will just have to start racking up the miles to keep our streak alive. We still have a very long way yet to go aiming for a full year of a cache a day. TFTC TBS.
Who doesn't love a road trip with bogonghazy and littleboss 2. TFTC The blind side
Heading to a night in Shepp with LittleBoss2 and Sorceysal. This was a quick find amid all the water. Nice and dry though. Thanks The Blind Side
Found with Bogonghazy and SS on our overnight trip to Shep. Thanks for placing the geocache
Write a note the other day as a 1st to find. I am logging this now as there is a gap in my calendar thank you blindside for putting out the series. Some of them have been very big challenges and I’m in very good hides this time of year, do you have to pick your time as the trucks between Shepparton Maroopna can be very tricky️
Today was a real exciting day. I bought a bike!
I've spent a little bit of time recently in this area, mainly due to geocaching and exercising. I couldn't wait to get out on the bike so off we went for a short fun ride.
The intentions were not to geocache but how could you not when you're only meters away from a cache.
TFTC The Blind Side. Just when I think I've finished the series, you put out another.
Keep them com'n I say

2TF Quick find was had on the 1st day of the month, and another day filled in the calendar.
There isn’t alot of notable players who wore 57 in the AFL. Alistair Clarkson wore it for 8 games early in his career. One of the most famous coaches in sport, Vince Lombardi died aged 57, and away from sport, two half decent performers died at the age of 57, Patrick Swayze and Prince. Again thanks for providing plenty of caches to assist in helping me fill my calendar, I might be back tomorrow. TFTC The Blind Side.
