Cant fix this cache soon sorry for the inconvenience and thanks for your patience
I reckon it's been removed. We spent over half an hour with no feathers found and no container either. Did find a white poison bottle a long way off. Area very overgrown and wet at time of visit. Notified owner
Check geocache and is indeed missing will replace very shortly sorry for the inconvenience
Enjoying the sun and popping out on an errand, stopped off for a quick find Tftc
The fourth find for the day whilst on a geoadventure that took me from Twin waters, northward to Eumundi and west to about Gheerula! This one took a bit more effort than the last three. GPS led me in the opposite direction and the constant mozzie attacks didn't make it any better. After reading logs and going to the prominent feature near where the co ordinates pointed me and I soon had the cache in hand. RIP Peak, saw what I assume was one of his offspring as I was leaving Twin waters today. Thanks for the cache LittleSquawkers!
Out for a day of caching in the Twin Waters area. Quick find here after reading some previous logs. TFTC
We have been here before and couldn't find it. This time thankfully it was found almost immediately.
G p s was out until a little bit as it wanted me to go across the road but I could see the turkey mound and trusted my instincts and found it
Took my daughter out caching today and she was able to find it quickly. Thanks for the cache.
A nice and quick cache! I had never seen a nest until now, how cool! Thanks for the cache
Only just learnt about the mounds the bush turkeys make. Thanks for making easy
LittleSquawkers I found your cache Peak on 1/9/2023, 1:55 pm. This is my find 5978 and find # 2 today. No problems locating it this time. Thanks for the cache, mate! TNSLLN
Found it !!!! It must have gone missing for a little while or put back in different spots
LittleSquawkers I didn’t find your cache Peak on 5/8/2023, 4:33 pm. Searched around but nothing found except the nest.
Your ache was sitting on a log near the path so after signing it I put it where the cords said it should be. All good feather is flying. TFTC
Don’t kids play in the bush these days . Amazed the local kids haven’t disturbed this. No matter, great find. TFTC
our navigator was off by about 10m, but we found it eventually. Hint: go to the nest
This is a cute one. GPS is off, you don’t have to go so far into the bush (you also don’t have to go into the nest)
Really good one, you don’t have to go too far into the bush to find it. Good luck
Thanks Peak for donating your feathers to guide us to this cache. We saw quite a few of your offspring nearby today.
Found while in the area nabbing a first to find at the start of our Girls Own Adventure Thursdays. I don’t have a fondness for the bush turkey I’m afraid. They’ve attacked my chooks in the past, and will defend their nest in a most antagonistic way, even harassing dogs that are nowhere near the mound. But I appreciate the cache
Parked and after the GPS arrow settled I walked back a few steps and looked in and sighted the icon given in the hint .
Signed log kingfisherau 2:00 pm 6/6/2023 and replaced all as found,

I saw this cache come out, but unfortunately I couldn’t try for the first to find as I had a meeting first thing on Tuesday morning that I was hosting. Oh well, that’s life. E_Smiley, AtTheLakeHouse and I had planned a caching day for Thursday, with another nearby new cache on the offering for first to find, so that one was our initial target.
On the day we found a few unscheduled caches, as well as some that we had planned. E_Smiley found this one. Bush turkeys are amazing birds, but they can make an awful mess in the most inconvenient places. TFTC

After finding your cache today which was great fun, I then decided to google Brush Turkey mounds for a bit more information.
Male brush turkeys rake up huge leafy mounds to entice females to lay their eggs deep inside the pile between August to February each year. They usually lay one egg every 2 to 5 days. The females do not stay around the mound once they have laid.
The male maintains the mound temperature to around 34 degrees Celsius by shifting around the composting material to incubate the eggs for 50 days. The mulch may hold around 20 eggs.
Chicks take 48 hours to dig themselves out to an independent life. They receive no further parental care. Unfortunately, they are very vulnerable to attack.
A favourite point coming your way. TFTC LittleSquawkers
