Beautiful Geo art, with a great variety of puzzles. It was also good to have a couple of multis in the mix as well. Thanks chamad Domsky

Headed out with a couple of my best geo buddies whom live local who graciously have their time to transport me around the sailboat series.Smooth sailing for a SundayThanks CHAMAD for creating, placing and maintaining for our enjoyment.

Out and about with Kolour after the CITO collecting some of the sailboat caches, many of these have an attribute required for another challenge this month.Last time I visited this area I worked on this multi and had calculated the finals, but decided not to come back this way to find it. Today it was on my hitlist! Cache quickly found, I left some TBs. After visiting another cache up the road, we spotted Bluewattle, Snickersallen and Grannysmith1947 wandering around, Bluewattle had found this and picked up the TBs I had just left. Thanks chamad for the cache, enjoying collecting more of this series.

I had to return to claim this one. I retrieved the info and calculated the coords back in September, but I was on a time limit, and didn't have time to backtrack from my chosen route. (Yes, I know, you should always start with a Multi). Anyway, today was my plan to again wipe off many more of these Little Sailing Boat series caches, and again I was on a time frame. This was my second find for the day.At GZ, thankfully it was a quick find and all is in good condition here. I had to pretend that I was tying my shoelace when a learner driver parked nearby and hopefully he didn't get too suspicious but I'm sure he was too busy trying to do his three-point turn. Thank you, chamad, for the cache, and for another multi to add to my list.

2767 - I headed out to grab a few of the Sailing Boat Geoart series that I had managed to solve this afternoon, as Sunday is definitely the best day of the week to move around this area. This is the seventh and last one I grabbed this afternoon, with my note being made on the log sheet at 3:18pm. Thanks for placing this one here and of course for the great geoart series chamad. Worth a favourite point for the kind of hide you have placed here and for the high difficulty Multi cache.

06-Oct-24
I have spent a bit of time over the last couple of weeks trying to solve all of the puzzles for this geo art series. Today I had a couple of hours spare between family commitments so I headed over the gateway to Pinkenba to squeeze in as many finds as I could. I visited the first way point last weekend and calculated the final. I left the find for this weekend as i need to space my multi finds for a challenge cache that i recently signed. This hide is so good, hidden in plain sight. I saw the container as I drove past last weekend, and knew exactly where to park today. All good at GZ and log is dry within its double covering. Thanks very much for the cache placement and creation of the series Chamad. A truly super effort. This is a new favourite cache of mine. Cheers

Turns out I have trouble counting to 2 and reading simple instructions. Ah well, it's a nice spot to sit and curse while you work out where you went wrong. Eventually made it to GZ and spotted the cache from the driver's seat. Indeed, one of these things is not like the others. Big Grin.

25-Aug-24
Very glad we did this sail bout art on a Sunday,as we all do not know our way around this side of town too well. All three of us are enjoying the many challenges along the way. Another gotcha for us. Out with Peter Ob8 Ob8 from N. Z. Jackie and myself Trev are GEM_54. Tftc

25-Aug-24
Over visiting from NZ and using the time to do as much caching as other commitments allow. Today I had teamed up with GEM_54 to try and knock off as many of the sailboat series as possible.I'm certainly glad we chose a Sunday to do these ones, as the area was almost deserted and so parking near GZ's was never a problem, but I can imagine how busy it would be on a week day, with lots of workers and heavy traffic.Worked out the final coords for this and it meant a bit of a detour back to where we had come from, but we weren't going to leave any behind if at all possible. A nice quick find once back at GZ. TFTC

24-Aug-24
I planned a day trip from Toowoomba to find a few selected caches only and go to an event. Big GrinA couple of the caches filled in D/T grid spots, others were because I completed the challenge cache criteria, or a unique cache like this one. CoolAfter attending an event I headed out this way to find a couple more of the Sailboat geoart caches. SmileAfter completing step 1, I quickly headed to GZ and soon spotted the cache, signed the log book and returned the cache to its hiding location. Big GrinThanks for the cache.

GCA9JDH #10 As the Crow FliesA multi was needed for the day. Got the learner driver to drive me to GZ as I had done the leg work on this last week. He sat in the car as I made a quick find. Grabbed the 2 TBs. TFTC chamad

7/7/2024 Find #7085Pprime had suggested a few weeks ago the idea of us working on the sailboat puzzle caches out this way. So, as it was holiday time, I figured I could put a little of the grey matter to work and see what I could come up with. And between us we did pretty darned well, I will say. So it was decided that today he and T4mmmy would collect me and we would take a trip over here to claim everything we could, getting me out and about for the last day of my break, before the rude return to work tomorrow. Good urban camo here. Left the current TBs inside here today. Thanks for the cache chamad.

12-May-24
Accio 15:07:52A quick run out this arvo with T4mmmy and Suki-hound - moreso for a leg stretch, but also seeking decent sized caches to leave some well travelled trackables in. Not having ventured into the puzzles of this series yet - but this one was doable on the fly. Grabbed numbers easily enough and no worries at GZ.Thanks chamad for entertaining me at this location.Cool *{Overall find #12517}* Cool

Out and about for our second day of caching on the northside and today's area was over near the airport. Quite a variety to keep us busy and we were able to keep out of the showers most of the time later in the day. Thanks to all the COs.

09-Apr-24
Very few crows spotted over these skies. The big steel birds were just out of reach and any feathered versions kept upstream of that ohh so noxious vapour emitted from the nearby pits. Hope the water I waded through to get to GZ was rainwater run off and not effluent tainted. Spotted the odd one out and grabbed the cache. Spent a few minutes de-anting the container before grabbing the log. I'm sure the ants appreciated the giving the resident ants a swim. Not sure what the collective name for ants having a swim is so I'll name it as a swant. Thanks chamad for posting this multi here.

Spent a few hours out here collecting caches this morning. Had some trouble with a few due to the recent rain, but Ardom brought his kayak boots and happily sloshed through the puddles A nice variety of caches collected so far. Im looking forward to coming back to collect the rest! TFTPuzzles and caches!

First cache for the morning! Out with ESCR, trying to grab as many of these as possible before the heat kills us. This one completes a multi-cache D/T loop for me! Thanks chamad!

10-Jan-24
We took an after dinner drive out here as there were vehicles parked at GZ the last time I was nearby. An interesting odour assaulted our senses as we exited our car so we were glad to be able to spot the cache straight away. The cache and log were surprisingly damp but still ok to sign. Thanks chamad

03-Jan-24
I had an afternoon free today so headed over to find a few more of Chamad's Sailboat Art. After the downpours almost all day yesterday, today was a lovely fine day and remarkably quiet for such an industrial area. A favorite point from me because I love these obvious-not-obvious types of hides! Thanks for find #5299TNLN

20-Dec-23
Just one more. This was the only place I even saw any muggles and none of them were anywhere near GZ. Cool

17-Dec-23
We were clearly warned that we would be doubling-back on where we had been, but everyone does it, and it is one of the essential life skills you need when you are so drunk you cant stand up straight. One moment you are standing there, and then over there, and before you know it you are back in the starting spot again. The true test of how drunk you are is how many times you find yourself staggering back into the same spot without moving anywhere.I was keen to drive back because there was a challenge cache we had been muggled out of. When we got out of the car there was a skanky smell in the air that made your eyes water. The skank was more than your average skank. Clearly it was some sort of tidal event, but the smell was the kind of bowel explosion you wouldnt wish on your worst enemy. This was dry-reach stuff and all we could think of were the people getting off the cruise ship saying Welcome to Brisbane. tftc

26-Nov-23
Out today to make another dent on the little sail boat geoart. I collected 11 smileys on a very quiet Sunday. A weekend is most definitely the best time to be here. TFTC

25-Nov-23
With an appointment in the morning and a concert at night, there was plenty of time for some caching in the middle. We made this geoart our main target for the day having stayed up until all hours of the morning solving the puzzles. With the numbers sorted it was off to GZ where the nicely camouflaged container was located.Tftc chamadFind #4838

Got this one. On the way to our cruise. Thanks chamad

20-Nov-23
Tftc Chamad, we couldn't board our cruise ship until we had found this cache. All aboard .

19-Nov-23
I had solved many of this series, some easy and some hard, a couple of months ago. Wanting to find a certain attribute this month for a challenge, I drove out here early hoping to avoid too many people. As it turned out, it was a very busy day as there is a cruise ship at the terminal and lots of fishermen at various locations. At at a few of the caches I bumped into nikid1, KerriMG and Que Sera who had the same idea.At the virtual stage, I found the information and worked out the final co-ordinates. After getting the green tick, I headed to gz where I spotted the correct one straightaway. Left a tb which I found in Europe last month. Tftc

Over the last week IolantheK and me have looking out towards the bay at a little sailing boat with no smilies We decided to try and light it up (well mostly, a few challenges have remained dark )Some were easy, whilst others weren't so much harder but took a while to decode, whilst others required one to get into the mind of the CO In the end I think we managed to solve all but three without assistance (Me thinks some puzzling may require a psychiatry degree, as IolantheK says "purple because aliens" )So with that done we headed out over the last weekend and found and signed a great variety of caches!!Loved the camo *Well done chamad TFTCs* A fav point for this one

T-Tech and I spent some time over the last couple of days to get this My Little Sailing Boat Geoart series sorted, and today we had a few hours to make some of them smileys Big GrinThere's a lot of info on this sign! We eventually pulled out what was needed for this one then sat down to crunch the numbers. Note to self: don't cut corners, be meticulous!!!!! A few shots went at the checkers, but we did eventually get it sorted. Very glad we started this one early! Off to GZ, and T-Tech liked the hiding spot. TFTC, chamad.

My usual strategy with multi-caches is to target them first, as you never know where they will take you, and it beats backtracking in areas already visited. This multi-cache was definitely a prime example of that. I had attempted this multi-cache towards the end of my initial night visit, and although there were a few teething issues, I did find the relevant sign, but fat-fingered the sums at my own fault. By that stage and with baby Cottontail accompanying me, I had overstayed my time allotted, and was content with my return home. It did allow me to sit down comfortably at home to work through the required digits, and I even had the kindness of the CO to point out my errors.Regarding the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series, I really enjoyed my Sunday afternoon in the industrial areas of Eagle Farm, Pinkenba and Myrtletown, and it was largely quiet other than a few trucks and Uber drivers / taxis heading between the ports of the cruise terminal and Tangalooma. I think it is a choice area to place the geoart, as it is out of the way and its quieter street network makes it optimal to add geocaches. Furthermore, I felt like there were a few opportunities to add larger-sized containers with the suburbs' factories/industry. To give others an indication of timing, I was able to collect 24 finds in 2:40 hr, commencing at 14:20 hr. The series gets a big thumbs-up! Returning to the series today and having already visited the reference waypoint on 28/07/2023, I was able to visit GZ directly, and spot the cache quickly. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Nice industrial camouflage tethered safely, that is able to be effectively used in this area. Thanks [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance. Favourite Point for container use and multi-cache assistance.----------This afternoon, I had a few hours available whilst baby Cottontail was napping, and a family get-together, so I decided to finally return to the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series having visited the area briefly during its first night of publication. A delightful afternoon with good weather and reasonably quick finds that had my mood in good spirits despite gallivanting around this series solo.

Cache- I spotted something on approach and my geo instincts were spot on today.Multi- I actually gathered the info for this multi on a non multi day and it did not take long to work out the finalFun day- Today i decided to go for a bike ride from home to find some of this series. I had to ride past a few because one there was a truck parked right at GZ and the Truckee obviously asleep with the curtains drawn. Another someone pulled up in their car right in front of GZ just as i got there and others i rode past that needed either fishing gear or had off road attribute that i need for November . Also i cant get 2 multis in one day . I ended up going 53km in 5 hours and it is a great place to ride on a weekend so i am looking forward to coming back next month. Thanks chamad for all the fun

Out finding a few caches with Dora the Explorer! The sailboat geoart was our target for the day. All caches, except one, were quickly located and the logs signed. We enjoyed this series with its variety of puzzles, D/Ts, containers and hides. Thanks, chamad, for the effort involved in this geoart for the enjoyment of all cachers.....and TFTC.

Down in SEQ for a few days to celebrate the life of a caching ambassador and a great friend Karicka.

Back in BrisVegas to grab some rare DT targets today with BenM70 and greencordial.

Ben quickly had this one in hand. Thanks chamad for adding to my day.

16-Sep-23
Burgo78 and BenM70 arrived in SEQ to celebrate the wonderful life of Karicka. I offered to be a driver for them today, I did remind them that I grew up in a small town with no traffic lights and one roundabout. Thanks chamad for this one, I was happy to see you considering everything on Friday. Hopefully see you again soon under better circumstances and we can get to do some caching.

Today's geocaching adventure took me to a most extraordinary place: a heavy industrial area perched alongside the majestic river. What made this expedition truly unique was the fusion of mystery, multi, letterbox, and challenge caches, each ingeniously hidden amidst the gritty industrial landscape.

This power trail was unlike any other, not just because of its diversity but also the added thrill of tree climbs, tree fishing, and exceptional camouflage. It was an adventure lover's paradise!

The relentless buzz of machinery contrasted beautifully with the soothing flow of the nearby river, setting the stage for an unforgettable day of geocaching. As I navigated through the labyrinthine structures, I felt like an urban explorer on a quest for hidden treasures.

Tree climbs and tree fishing were the name of the game in this power trail. Each cache brought its unique challenge - from scaling heights to reaching seemingly impossible places. The adrenaline rush with each find was exhilarating!

Camouflage took on a whole new meaning as these caches were expertly hidden in plain sight, blending seamlessly with their industrial surroundings. It took a keen eye and a patient hand to reveal them.

The logbooks within these caches told tales of fellow adventurers who had dared to tackle this extraordinary trail. I proudly added my geocaching username, the date, and a heartfelt message of gratitude in each logbook.

This power trail was a testament to the ingenuity of the cache owners, who turned an industrial landscape into a geocacher's playground. To them, I extend my utmost appreciation.

As I conclude this epic geocaching journey, I am left with memories of exhilarating climbs, unexpected finds, and the undeniable thrill of urban exploration. Until the next adventure, may your caches be as creative as this one!

Happy to spot a multi amongst the out of reach challenges so we had to give it a go. You never know, it may help with one of two of them
Nice spot for it and neatly set up. These seem to be growing wild in this area.

Thanks chamad for placing this Multi-Cache for my find # 4466

Out and about picking up a few newer caches down around the airport, hearing the planes thunder overhead.

Took a little while to get the numbers I needed, then grabbed the final while in the area. Nice hide

Finally, I have now caught up on my logging from a lovely day out in this local area, and it was another easy multi to do that didn't require rocket science, thank goodness!
Once at GZ, it was a quick find, log signed, and then replaced as found

Thank you, chamad, for placing this multi cache for our benefit and enjoyment. My sailboat is now ready to launch, a good piece of geoart, a favourite point coming your way ️

02-Sep-23
Last one today. Enjoyed this multi. Found the numbers we needed. Off to the final. Thought it was the usual spot. No it wasn't. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks chamad. All good with this multicache. A favourite for the series so far.

On a short break from work today I jumped in the geowagon and headed out to pick up a few caches to help clear my mind.

On arrival a safe place to park the car was found and after a short walk, I soon laid my hands on the cache and made my mark on the log before safely returning the cache back in its hides hole.

Quick walk back to the car and I was quickly off to grab another in the series.

A big thanks to the cache owner for making this series available for fellow cachers to find.

Cheers

TBU went out on a geocaching tour to Pinkenba with Snickersallan and Grannysmith1947 to get the remaining Geoart Sailing boat caches.

We found this one and signed the log.

#7369Day 3 of MegaGOM boating and tree fishing expedition with **bella at waggy**, **Baktrak**, **Purplepeopleater** and an anonymous local. After 2 days on the water, it was time to remain on terra firma. But we still caught some fish, and for some, it was a big slog up a steep hill. Towards the end of the day, it was a mad dash mopping up around the airport and still managing to get through security on time.Enjoyed all the caches and the company was reasonable as well.TFTC chamad

Some plans were hatched with a local and some Sydney Siders for a 3 day quick caching trip which involved getting the boat out, yaks, mud, poles, ladders, trees etc. Plenty of solving was done and routes plotted. The boat, the MV Grumpy lived up to its name with some cantankerous displays and the need for running repairs on serval occasions so our timetable had to be amended on more than one occasion.
Day 3 was planned to be a land day well with a few trees as well.
This was the last leg, how much of the art work can be collected before the flight in a few hours? The answer is most of it.
A number of us have thought we have previously been the victims of caching identity theft by that mysterious mob called the GOM’s. As a result and given it felt like a bit of a mega the logs were signed MegaGOM. TFTC

27-Aug-23
On a quick trip North with a few Sydney mates and a colourful local for a few days on the water, in the mud and up the hills, running around grabbing some beaut caches. Much joint puzzle-solving and planning paid off. On day 3, we left the water and mud behind in favour of tall trees, steep hills and a final race around the streets near the airport.
We signed with the space-saving catch-all, “megagom”, in memory of previous exploits.
Thanks chamad.

In two lots TBU1BIKESU and I got all the sailing boat caches - including signing the challenge caches, but I still have to work on them to qualify.

We climbed up trees, fished a lot and bent over to get the cache containers, and signed the log with TBU.

Together with Crash2079, Baktrak, bella at waggy and a notorious QLDer this was day 3 of the MegaGOM's special edition Brisbane adventure.
Sans the boat today, there were far less mishaps other than losing a certain member of the party for some time.

Caches all found and in good condition.

After getting the coords recently and deciding it was too far to backtrack, I swung by today instead.
Wow, that stench was really happening this afternoon.
Time for speed and accuracy in this Park and Grab!
I was in and out in a flash and drove away with windows down so as to minimise any odour staying onboard.
TFT Multi here: two caches from one noticeboard seems pretty good value!

I had settled down over dinner, hoping to watch the cricket, when I noticed my inbox had been smashed with notifications for this series. I was feeling lazy and opted not to head out chasing them, but instead stayed up late, cheering every Aussie ashes run and Pommy wicket and solved most of the puzzles.

After a lazy breakfast, I headed out with the intention of snaffling up as many of the first to finds that were still available.

After visiting the waypoint much earlier in my run, I left this potential ***FTF*** till the end of the list, figuring the other hounds would do likewise, possibly scared off by the earlier DNF log. My plan now was to grab this one and work back towards town picking up the rest of the series.

GZ was a very bust spot today with 1000's of cars passing. None the less, I quickly spotted the likely prize, but took a less than direct route to the container to avoid wet feet. A bold urban hide - I hope it lasts without getting muggled.

July has been multi month for me - with about 35 multi's claimed in pursuit of various challenges. So it was nice to add another to the tally here at 0930. Nicely played here. Have a crooked favourite point.
