I am archiving this cache due to the unfortunate lack of action taken to restore it, or any communication from the cache owner, Keechox, requesting additional time.Despite ample opportunities provided for the Cache Owner to respond, their silence leads me to the conclusion that the cache has been abandoned. In such cases, archived caches will not be unarchived, and as a result, this location is now open for the placement of a new cache by another interested party. Thanks,BalayangCommunity Reviewer - Australia

This was definitely our most challenging cache of the day!!Firstly it took forever to locate and our necks were getting quite stiff from looking for it.Secondly, when we did finally find it we had no TOTT with us and had to resort to nature for help. Finding something not fragile and half rotten was another challenge.I wanted to give up and leave it but Mr Beetle is more stubborn and after lots of swearing, scraped skin and perseverance we finally had it in hand.Getting it back was an even bigger challenge. The satisfaction of signing this one made the lengthy experience here worthwhile and we left with smiles on our dials. Thanks Keechox and a favourite point from us.

2nd time lucky since 26/6/2023 when i was here last.

This time i walked straight up to it and spotted it just as i left the path... gotta love that [^]
I, did, however have my 'Eyes In' this time but even so without them i still would have spotted it.

"Sometimes you spot them... Sometimes you don't", is what i constantly tell myself.
It just boils down to luck sometimes. [Think i'll try some hardies whilst i'm on fire lol Big Grin]

With no pole [that i left at home] i just improvised and had the elevated booty down at my feet in under a minute.
Signed the log at 12:47 on Monday 28 August 2023.

The cache and contents are fine and dry.
Replaced with no troubles.
No Muggles or Yappy Muggles were present or nearby thankfully.

I had expected is to return a DNF, but head there with the kids anyway for an explore. Within 5mins of standing there, necks sore, we found it. With no TOTT we looked around and managed to have it in hand pretty quickly anyway. Getting it back was harder thanks so much for this one.

Cache and contents are in good condition. This one took Dumps and I about thirty minutes to find. I was a little distracted by previous posts suggesting it’s was not too high but I call this highish. It’s a great hide and took some creative thinking to delicately bring it too ground. We were a little worried it would turn into a DNF as if it did next visit I would have been on my own.

Make shift pole was used once I arrived, the joys of travelling the world I can’t take my totts everywhere I go but with this one not being too high I was able to get it down sign and replace

Back in Launceston for a few days to visit freeness and family, this afternoon with a bit of time free decided to go for a drive and find a few newer caches that have been published of late.

Thanks for the cache

With 4-Star D i was attracted to this one. I read the hint and past logs and knew what i had to do here so being able to actually spot the cache comes very much in handy, but today that was an epic... FAIL so a DNF i s my result. Spewin' coz those stars, i have not earned today Sad

Thanks for the challenge anyways, Keechox.

{oh by the way, i'm about 10% shy of being "legally-blind" lol Big Grin so it's definitely me} The cache is very likey there still Wink

A day trip to Launceston to complete a few little tasks and of course geocaches in the area as well. A reasonable good trip, but 4 DNFs ina row at the end of the day was disappointing.

Thank you for the cache

Up from Hobart today and thought I would have a look at this cache. Walking to the cache I noticed it was a tott required but thought I would have a look anyway for future reference.

Turned out the cache was lower than I expected and I fashioned a makeshift tott to retrieve and replace the cache.

Fluffy et al were serenading the neighbourhood as we arrived. So our presence didn't add to the din. Bright sunlight helped, and we saw the cache on our arrival. We deployed our TOTT (nowhere near its limits) and soon had the cache in hand. To our delight, the logbook was blank. The cache and contents were in good condition. So we will claim {FTF} at 10:25am. Thanks Keechox for the cache.

This morning I was up early and seen this new cache published. A challenge, I do enjoy a challenge, so off I headed to GZ.
Little did I know that this cache is guarded by ‘Fluffy’! I swear there is a 3 headed dog nearby, who announced my arrival and then continued to bark without taking a breath! I suppose a three headed dog can sound like it is barking continuously because it has 3 heads ??
I was so quiet, I was sitting and looking, move a bit, sit and look, hardly making a sound, but Fluffy kept up his barking. The neighbours even came out and told Fluffy to shhh, which it did for 10 seconds or so and then off it went again!
After a good 15 minutes plus I decided the neighbour’s need their sleep more than I need this find, so I headed back to the car where I can still hear Fluffy belting out a warning to all those in ear shot!
Maybe the challenge for this cache is not to alert Fluffy to your presence, thus the 4 difficulty rating ??

TFTCKeechox
Keep smiling ??
