Had a look on our way into Carnarvon and thought about replacing it but thought it needs CO attention.
SKMADV, we didnt find your cache today. Sorry, but it wasnt for lack of trying though! I think this has been destroyed in a recent fire.
SKMADV, your geocache The 6 B's Number 2 (GCA9MDV) needs urgent maintenance. We visited it on 7 October 2024 and the surrounding area has been burnt. Trees at GZ are down and theres no sign of the cache container. Cheers Bunkshyde
Very recent fire through here, in fact it was still smouldering. Quite a few trees down. Had a quick look. May need checking on. Thank you.
Had a day off work so decided to clean up the last of the geos in town, parked up and followed the geo-trail straight to the cache. Thank you SKMADV for placing and maintaining The 6 B's Number 2 for us and others to find and enjoy.
We loved the bumpy bridgethis one had us searching for awhilewhen we found it, it was staring at us all the time
Found 08:58Three months of travelling in Western Australia with Muggle friends from the East coast; stopover in Singapore on the outward and return flights. Caches and labs where they are on the way and can be done without too much effort. You may forgive me for using the same standard phrase everywhere, but there's not much more to it than that. Many thanks to all the owners for making our hobby possible. If there is anything wrong with the cache, more detailed information follows.
Joined up with Albida33 for a brief caching mission. Redeemed myself at this cache and made the find. Tftc
WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 94 - Carnarvon Day 2. After a huge day yesterday, I was hoping for a relaxed day today. I started off with a visit to the Carnarvon Space museum. It is very impressive, they have lots of stuff, but not all of it is explianed. The mock up moon lander is very impressive and the outside dishes are huge. I ten headed into town to have lunch with dghoffy, another east coast cacher catch up. The afternoon then became a time to do the second set o labs and the rest of the traditional caches around town. I again met up with dghoffy and we did a few caches together. I had been thinking of an evening outing, but I was not up to it and had dinner in the van and an early night. Tomorrow is the drive to Coral Bay. I was still with dghoffy and we tacked the two caches on either side of the river before I headed home. The first was harder to see than the second, but both were seen and the long grass navigated to sign the log. Thanks for the cache SKMADV48697.8 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2018 Nov Thread of Fate A#390**Albida**
Ah, so that was what the six b's stood for. Great solution to a tricky problem. Cache quickly dispatched, thanks for the hide.
Well B@#$% me dead. We spent 15 minutes here yesterday and no luck. Came back today and it nearly smacked us in the face. Point from us. TFTC.....deserve an icecream for that.
On our Epic Convoy, off to Wooramel Station today. A fun quick find as were leaving town.TFTC
On our travels we found ourselves in Carnarvon and took the opportunity to grab a few caches, this was a nice quick find, thanks for placing it
We were lucky enough to see the water slowly making its way down to the bridge yesterday! This morning the river is flowing, great sight and a quick find!
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia for four or five weeks. Camped out along Milinya-Exmouth Road before heading southward to spend most of the day around Carnarvon and on to our next campsite somewhere near Overlander Roadhouse, finding a few caches along the way. Thanks for the cache SKMADV!
Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. Last night we camped south of Coral Bay and this morning we continued traveling south towards Carnarvon and beyond. The cache was a quick find and was in good condition. Thanks SKMADV for the cache.
Just hanging around amongst the trees looking over a very dry river bed. Having a great time grabbing a few geocaches.
Heading home from this year's trip to Gnaraloo Station and after refuelling both the car and myself, I'm taking the opportunity to clear up a few more of the new hides that have appeared around town. Enjoyed the drive over the bumpy bridge. I have never seen this road go underwater but can imagine it's quite the sight as it gets submerged! Another well placed cache made for another quick find. No problems here - TFTC
Back on holidays chasing the sun, travelling around and collecting a few caches on our way. Found your cache easily and it was in good condition. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of holiday.
Out for a road trip up north to try out our new camper and grabing a couple of caches on the way.
Out for a morning run from the caravan park. I was undecided whether to cross the bridge and grab this one as well but in the end I realised I had the time so I set across.
It was a bit of a climb when I arrived at the other side but I found it in the end

Hi there SKMADV. On holidays and heading to stay in Carnarvon over winter and we found this cache at 0241pm after a short search - and the container and log are in good condition. TN, LN, SL. Thanks to SKMADV for this cache.
FieldNotes: The cache and log were both found in good condition. This cache was used as an introduction to Geocaching for a Taiwanese couple new to Geocaching. We took them to Bibbawarra Bore and then Miaboolya Beach just to show them one of the history spots of Carnarvon. This cache was actually found by the male newby
