Solved the puzzle awhile ago. Blimey limey. Don't go blundering into this one or you will be up to your Christmas bow tie in lime green frothy goo. One step wrong. Very careful getting to GZ. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Chamad. All good with this cache and puzzle
Like many others, I've been chasing caches with off-road attributes this month. Yesterday, domsky suggested to me that I should come and get the sailing boat caches with that attribute. So last night I sat down and nutted my way through the necessary puzzles, knowing that Sunday would be a good day to come and look for them. GeoM decided to join me this afternoon and we had a fun afternoon finding caches and exploring the area.I started trying to decode this puzzle using the code I am familiar with but it was not working very well so I went looking and found an alternative which made the process much easier. I soon had some numbers that the checker liked. This was our ninth stop of the day and GeoM jumped out of the car and headed straight towards the fence. He managed to step on something in the long grass that made a noise and scared him so he came back and sat in the car while I went to fetch the cache. After stepping in some slushy grass and realising that I would have to wade across the creek, I backtracked and made my way around the side. GeoM rejoined me and and we came in along the fence line. From this direction it was easy to locate the cache hidden in amongst the overgrown bushes. GeoM even managed to find a tomato bush nearby to provide some sustenance for the long drive home. Thanks chamad for the trickier puzzle and for the cache!
Limey was another word we had not come across. But it makes perfect sense, thinking about the prevalence of scurvy on so many of the early sea voyages.Puzzle sorted quickly, with a bit of dancing added in along the way.Log signed and our journey continued. This is great Geo art and fun puzzles. Thanks for maintaining them so well. Thanks chamad Domsky
Out and about with Kolour after the CITO collecting some of the sailboat caches, many of these have an attribute required for another challenge this month. This puzzle was easily solved, gz was tricky to get to but that didn't stop us! I found the container down near the ground, I popped it back off the ground to make sure water didn't get it.Thanks chamad for the puzzle and cache, enjoying collecting more of this series.
Headed out with a couple of my best geo buddies whom live local who graciously have their time to transport me around the sailboat series.Smooth sailing for a SundayThanks CHAMAD for creating, placing and maintaining for our enjoyment.
After todays CITO, Willis007 and I met up at Pinkenba to find more of this series, especially those with the off road attribute for a challenge. I found most last November but there were a few that I hadnt solved but with more experience and a little nudge on a couple of them, I had the solved coordinates for all. I worked out the first part of the puzzle but it took a hint to get the coordinates. I learnt something new with this puzzle. A bit tricky to get to but luckily it was dry. It took a few minutes to find as it was down very low. Logbook signed and replaced as found. Tftc
working our way through the sailboatjust two left to solve now and then a couple of challengers to work onout with the red pen again saw a good way in and there is the cacheno lime but i found a lemon to be friends with my tomatoleft green ribbon
I wasn't sure if I was going to have to cross a drain or a ditch to get to this cache, because the terrain looked a little like that. Thankfully to get to the cache, there was no water, however I think after some rain you might need gumboots to get across. The puzzle needed a step or two, but the case an easy find. Thanks, chamad
Over visiting from NZ and using the time to do as much caching as other commitments allow. Today I had teamed up with GEM_54 to try and knock off as many of the sailboat series as possible.I'm certainly glad we chose a Sunday to do these ones, as the area was almost deserted and so parking near GZ's was never a problem, but I can imagine how busy it would be on a week day, with lots of workers and heavy traffic.Getting to GZ without getting wet feet was the only thing that stumped us here .. Don't take the direct route. TFTC
It's a great day to be out going. It's Sunday and hardly anyone is around ,we are moving along quickly today. All three of us are enjoying the challenges along the way.. TFTC
7/7/2024 Find #7081Pprime had suggested a few weeks ago the idea of us working on the sailboat puzzle caches out this way. So, as it was holiday time, I figured I could put a little of the grey matter to work and see what I could come up with. And between us we did pretty darned well, I will say. So it was decided that today he and T4mmmy would collect me and we would take a trip over here to claim everything we could, getting me out and about for the last day of my break, before the rude return to work tomorrow. Of course we bashed in through the grass to get to GZ where we made our found quickly once at the right spot. The not long grass way out was the better option tho for sure. Thanks for the cache chamad.
Accio 14:09:13A lovely day out 'sailing' with T4mmmy and 1MinnimooThanks chamad for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12570}*
Out and about caching with joojoo57 and Endeavour 3 around the Airport/Brisbane River area. Arrived at GZ and found cache. TFTC
Out and about for our second day of caching on the northside and today's area was over near the airport. Quite a variety to keep us busy and we were able to keep out of the showers most of the time later in the day. Thanks to all the COs.
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific. There were 3 members of our crew today - joojoo57, Richmond Lad & endeavour3. Now that we are crewed up we set sail in our to voyage to finds on some Little Sailing Boat caches. Logs may have been signed E3 to save space. TFTC Found & logged using Cachly for iOS
Gotcha, not sure if I qualify so will maybe turn this into a smiley in coming weeks. TFTC
Took my best efforts and a hint from a prior photo to convince me to take another look. Foliage has grown with a vengeance. TFTC and adventure. Yes the stump is at the left edge!
Thanks for the series chamad and arranging this hide. Quiet this morning which is great.
Spent a few hours out here collecting caches this morning. Had some trouble with a few due to the recent rain, but Ardom brought his kayak boots and happily sloshed through the puddles A nice variety of caches collected so far. Im looking forward to coming back to collect the rest! TFTPuzzles and caches!
I had to make a slightly tricky approach at GZ but got there from the top. It was a real shame to disturb a beautiful white heron sitting very nearby (see pic). All was good inside the cache and I retraced my steps just as a light rain started to fall.
One of the things we have added as one of our geocaching TOTTs is a picnic basket. We bought it with the romantic idea of setting up for picnics in the middle of a caching day where we could sip Chardonnay whilst we ate egg and lettuce sandwiches.Well ever since we purchased it, it has sat in the back seat unused. Our first problem is that we always forget to the boil the eggs the day before we head out and the second one is that we wouldnt be able to live with ourselves if we were ever discovered drinking Chardonnay. In fairness to Chardonnay (eww, I just threw up in my mouth a little) we have purchased the odd bottle on one of our wine holidays. Thats the problem with a wine tour - everything starts tasting good at the end of the day. tftc
I didnt spot it on my first sweep and went meticulously over the object I was looking in until finally coming back to where I started and hey presto there it was. TFTC
Out today to make another dent on the little sail boat geoart. I collected 11 smileys on a very quiet Sunday. A weekend is most definitely the best time to be here. TFTC
Chasing numbers and attributes so this area fit the bill nicely, just had to hope the rain held off. I took the long way round but made the find without issue. Tftc chamadFind #4839
GCA9ZT3 #18 LimeyThis series was solved a while ago. This one was nice and easy. Que Sera suggested that we (KerriMG, Que Sera and me) head out to collect the attributes required for the November challenge this Sunday morning. Alarm was set for stupid oclock but thanks to shift work I woke up bright up nice and early anyway. Arriving at GZ the cache was found found in the logical spot. TFTC chamad
Today KerriMG, Nikid1 and i had hatched a plan to find some off road caches for the November challenge by georode. We had long ago solved all the puzzles and this one was a nice fun one. At GZ we looked in an obvious place and bingo. Thanks chamad for all the fun.
Over the last week IolantheK and me have looking out towards the bay at a little sailing boat with no smilies We decided to try and light it up (well mostly, a few challenges have remained dark )Some were easy, whilst others weren't so much harder but took a while to decode, whilst others required one to get into the mind of the CO In the end I think we managed to solve all but three without assistance (Me thinks some puzzling may require a psychiatry degree, as IolantheK says "purple because aliens" )So with that done we headed out over the last weekend and found and signed a great variety of caches!!*Well done chamad TFTCs*
T-Tech and I headed out again this afternoon to see if we could finish off this series I solved this one by hand while he was out this morning. At GZ we made a quick find. TFTC, chamad.
This series' puzzles were interesting and a great tutorial for those learning the different types. I was able to recognise most puzzles, and then had to research a few others on the typical puzzle-solving websites. Regarding this puzzle, an immediately recognisable code/language, and it was then just a matter of working through the translation to obtain coordinates for GZ.Regarding the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series, I really enjoyed my Sunday afternoon in the industrial areas of Eagle Farm, Pinkenba and Myrtletown, and it was largely quiet other than a few trucks and Uber drivers / taxis heading between the ports of the cruise terminal and Tangalooma. I think it is a choice area to place the geoart, as it is out of the way and its quieter street network makes it optimal to add geocaches. Furthermore, I felt like there were a few opportunities to add larger-sized containers with the suburbs' factories/industry. To give others an indication of timing, I was able to collect 24 finds in 2:40 hr, commencing at 14:20 hr. The series gets a big thumbs-up! A rather large hare was minding the cache upon my arrival, so it hopped/bounced away as I walked towards GZ. A quick cache find and good area for cache placement, and the cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This afternoon, I had a few hours available whilst baby Cottontail was napping, and a family get-together, so I decided to finally return to the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series having visited the area briefly during its first night of publication. A delightful afternoon with good weather and reasonably quick finds that had my mood in good spirits despite gallivanting around this series solo.
Tftc Chamad, weekday is probably not the best choice for these as the area is quite busy.Enjoyed the puzzlesNice geo art
Working at the Bridge to Brisbane this morning but arrived for work a little early so decided to fill my time with some caching in the area before work. I have been solving these over the last few weeks and am proud to say I only needed a couple of nudges here and there. Despite there not being many options here, it took me a couple of minutes to find. I blame lack of coffee and sleep. TFTC
A team up with Gunnie69 today to tackle this geoart. He had them solved, and some of the challenges we both were able to qualify for. So today we made a team effov rt to make the finds here. We started up top and worked our way down. Some were tricky, like working out on site puzzles, and some were easy straightforward finds - but hey that is all part of the fun of making a find. This was out in the open and saw it on approach. Made use of the natural hiding spot which I think is where it should be. TFTC
No trouble finding the container on arrival at GZ, it was sitting on the ground in plain sight. NurseyJulie jumped out and did the logging honours as I tapped the next cache into the SatNav.I struggled a bit with this puzzle and put it aside for a while as I worked through some others. Thankfully, it was added to the solved pile eventually. With all the puzzles solved at home where I could and the challenges checked for qualification, I teamed up with NurseyJulie this morning to pick up what we could. Heading to the furthest point to start, then working our way back toward the big smoke, we managed to get almost every cache on the list, despite spending a chunk of time sorting the multi and unknown caches out at the boat ramp. I was sad to see the multi over there once we had the final cords. Thanks for the variety and some interesting hides Chamad, we had a great morning hunting icons.
Found on a pleasant Spring afternoon while out driving in the area with grandson.I've solved quite a few of these puzzles and intend to come and look for them in short bursts. It's great knowing there are a lot here for me when I have free time. I have nowhere near enough finds to qualify for the challenge caches...yetI liked this puzzle. Finding cache took much less time All good here. Thanks Chamad, for great range of puzzles and well placed caches.
Out finding a few caches with Dora the Explorer! The sailboat geoart was our target for the day. All caches, except one, were quickly located and the logs signed. We enjoyed this series with its variety of puzzles, D/Ts, containers and hides. Thanks, chamad, for the effort involved in this geoart for the enjoyment of all cachers.....and TFTC.
Today, I embarked on an urban geocaching expedition, delving into the heart of a bustling heavy industrial area to unearth a hidden mystery cache
Finding this cache was truly an industrial treasure hunt. The cache container was ingeniously camouflaged, blending seamlessly with the rugged environment. After a few minutes of meticulous searching, I finally spotted it and carefully retrieved it from its clever hiding spot.
The logbook provided a blank canvas to document my discovery. I added my geocaching username, the date, and a brief note to share the excitement of this find with future seekers.
My gratitude goes to the cache owner for crafting this challenging and rewarding experience.
Until my next urban geocaching adventure, happy hunting!

It’s an early morning start for me travelling through the north side of Brisbane with a mission.
I arrived in the area early this morning with a view to picking up a few caches I needed for a particular challenge but timed my run incorrectly. Non the less I made the most of my location and made my way to a parking spot to tee off for this cache.
It didn’t take all that long before I laid my hands on the prize and etched my name into the log. Returned the cache to its position of safety and returned to the car n search of my next challenge.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.
Cheers

#7366Day 3 of MegaGOM boating and tree fishing expedition with **bella at waggy**, **Baktrak**, **Purplepeopleater** and an anonymous local. After 2 days on the water, it was time to remain on terra firma. But we still caught some fish, and for some, it was a big slog up a steep hill. Towards the end of the day, it was a mad dash mopping up around the airport and still managing to get through security on time.Enjoyed all the caches and the company was reasonable as well.TFTC chamad
On a quick trip North with a few Sydney mates and a colourful local for a few days on the water, in the mud and up the hills, running around grabbing some beaut caches. Much joint puzzle-solving and planning paid off. On day 3, we left the water and mud behind in favour of tall trees, steep hills and a final race around the streets near the airport.
We signed with the space-saving catch-all, “megagom”, in memory of previous exploits.
Thanks chamad.

Some plans were hatched with a local and some Sydney Siders for a 3 day quick caching trip which involved getting the boat out, yaks, mud, poles, ladders, trees etc. Plenty of solving was done and routes plotted. The boat, the MV Grumpy lived up to its name with some cantankerous displays and the need for running repairs on serval occasions so our timetable had to be amended on more than one occasion.
Day 3 was planned to be a land day well with a few trees as well.
This was the last leg, how much of the art work can be collected before the flight in a few hours? The answer is most of it.
A number of us have thought we have previously been the victims of caching identity theft by that mysterious mob call the GOM’s. As a result and given it felt like a bit of a mega the logs were signed MegaGOM. TFTC

Together with Crash2079, Baktrak, bella at waggy and a notorious QLDer this was day 3 of the MegaGOM's special edition Brisbane adventure.
Sans the boat today, there were far less mishaps other than losing a certain member of the party for some time.
Caches all found and in good condition.

Lovely day out caching with geo friends, and Saturday sure is a good day to be in this industrial landscape, with very little traffic to contend with.Another good hide here, found quickly and replaced as found.Thank you, chamad, for placing this cache for our benefit combined with all the hard work, time, and effort you put into the puzzles & hides ????
As I was driving past this icon today (not the solved one), I saw two guys standing on the bridge, looking down in a kind of unusual way. Thinking they might be geocachers that I didn’t recognise, I pulled over and came back only to then see the car in the water. After checking that there was no one inside, one of the guys rang the cops, and later on, I saw tow trucks starting the removal process.

After the Sweden, Sweden, Sweden... Bork! Bork!! BORK!!!! event this morning, with a promise of a trip to Officeworks I got Karicka in the car… Beardman75 came along as arm candy after ensuring he had the appropriate footwear on…
So my plans to save these caches for a rainy day went out the window… a fabulous afternoon full of dark humour, reminiscing and man bonding… not to be confused with bondage… that’s different…
Another chance to take Renaldo off-road… we got to within 3m of the cache…
Thanks chamad

I figured I would use a free hour this afternoon to clean up the last few solved but not found caches in this series.
This puzzle took some time to solve. I knew the way forward, but it is tedious identifying the slight differences in the figures. Once done, I pondered the next step. I came up with a few possibilities and the correct solution prove to be the last one (as always)
A nice quick find at GZ. Thanks chamad

Very interesting puzzle followed by quick find. Thanks Chamad for the interesting series
Twas walking toward the cache then suddenly I was falling. I find I do better just going with the flow minimises damage. Suffice to say - watch for hidden holes. Cache found, signed and replaced. Thanks for the hide and smiley.
I was working in the neighbourhood so stop to find this one. Nice quick walk to the cache and quick find to.

A fun day chasing new caches after a bit of a solving marathon last night. Thank you for the fun cache ??
Busy morning racing around Myrtle Town & Eagle Farm, thanks Chamad for a bit of chaotic fun.
Now that driving duties, and caching are almost over, and phone calls seem done for the day, it is time to log this cache. Nice to catch a blank log book. Unexpected. Hoping it wasn't a red herring or I'd be dancing on your grave, chamad!
