We were in the doldrums with his puzzle. We sought extra help. thankfully we were helped and fair to say we still do not know how we got there, but we are grateful to have signed the log today on this fun adventure out in the Pinkenba area. Thanks chamad. Domsky

Out and about with Kolour after the CITO collecting some of the sailboat caches, many of these have an attribute required for another challenge this month. We arrived at gz and started our search. After a while I spotted something over the fence which required further investigation. It looks like the original cache container had been destroyed by the mower/whipper snipper. We spoke with the CO and advised the situation, he was ok for us to leave a spare until he could get out and replace. The speedy CO had it all sorted soon after. Thanks chamad for the puzzle and cache, enjoying collecting more of this series.

03-Nov-24
After todays CITO, Willis007 and I met up at Pinkenba to find more of this series, especially those with the off road attribute for a challenge. I found most last November but there were a few that I hadnt solved but with more experience and a little nudge on a couple of them, I had the solved coordinates for all. I overthought this puzzle so it took longer to solve than it should have. But I love Enya music - so thanks for the memories.Like the previous person, we couldnt find the cache but then Willis007 spotted bits of the container (destroyed by a mower) on the other side of the fence . We contacted the CO and put in a temporary replacement until he could replace it which turned out to be not long after we were there. Logbook signed. Tftc

Another DNF here and again following Bob Bowman. My GPS was swinging wildly from one spot to another, however I had a fair idea what I might be looking for and where I might be looking. I couldn't find a cache but I was on a time limit. It might have been here, but I have to go. Another time

03-Nov-24
Replaced today with a mint tin top of fence

25-Oct-24
out to finish the last of our solved todayno luck todaybut we are using a different app and hoping it is just not accurate enough

Surprised to find this one where it was - just lying there. Amazed its survived the whipper-snippering. Anyway, its all intact. The log is quite damp but we were able to sign with our magic pen. Thank you for the puzzle and cache.

Over visiting from NZ and using the time to do as much caching as other commitments allow. Today I had teamed up with GEM_54 to try and knock off as many of the sailboat series as possible.I'm certainly glad we chose a Sunday to do these ones, as the area was almost deserted and so parking near GZ's was never a problem, but I can imagine how busy it would be on a week day, with lots of workers and heavy traffic.Over half way through the series now and still going strong. This one took quite a while to locate and for a while, I was beginning to think it might have been our first dnf of the day. But no, I found it low, and on we go ..... TFTC

25-Aug-24
This hide had us all going up and down the fence line for quite some time. We were just about to call a friend, when Peter spotted it. Glad to get this one done and dusted.

7/7/2024 Find #7062Pprime had suggested a few weeks ago the idea of us working on the sailboat puzzle caches out this way. So, as it was holiday time, I figured I could put a little of the grey matter to work and see what I could come up with. And between us we did pretty darned well, I will say. So it was decided that today he and T4mmmy would collect me and we would take a trip over here to claim everything we could, getting me out and about for the last day of my break, before the rude return to work tomorrow. It took a moment or two for the coords to come down here before we could make the find. Thanks for the cache chamad.

Nice container. I find myself once again in Brisbane for a short visit. After the duties of the day, chasing some caches is certainly a good way of making the best of being in Queenslands caching Mekka. Unfortunately, it is rather rainy this time around, so I am focusing more on the urban caches, just in case the hunt has to be ended sooner rather than later. This was one of the caches I have found during my trip, so thanks chamad for creating the Small sized 3.0/2.0 Mystery Geocache #31 In the Doldrums.

10-Jun-24
I wandered up and down and then read a previous log and then spotted the cache lying on the ground . It took a bit of contortion to retrieve the cache. I signed the log and replaced the cache where I found it. TFTC chamad

I am out and about at 1:30 am finding caches again. SmileIt is amazing how a cache that is quite obvious in daylight can be so hard to find at night. Big GrinFound after 3 visits and an extensive search. RazzThanks for the cache.

02-Mar-24
Crawled around but no cache then spotted something on the other side of the fence. We got to it ok and reattached. Thanks chamad

2nd day of collecting this series, and a much drier & quieter day today which allowed for some creative parking at some GZs. A fun series with a variety of different hides, and no DNFs which is a good day. TFTCaches!

We always knew we were taking a chance with the weather and whilst we didnt have any rain, the 400% humidity made it feel like it was pouring. Thankfully I had to park all the way back here just to reach ScuttleButt. When you are hot and sweaty the only things you want to do are light a smoke after sex (even if you dont smoke) and assault everyones senses at the gym while you flex in front of the mirror. The thing you dont want to do is spend time feeling around some growth for a cache. When the cache didnt just magically appear, we wiped the sweat from our brows, wiped the sunscreen that was leaching into our eyes and then wiped away the tears and went for it. We read a few old logs, sweated some more until Mrs Woodyrothwell spied the hide and awarded a favourite point. Why is the sweat in your crotch so much more uncomfortable than the sweat in your shirt? tftc

Thought parking might be an issue here on weekdays so I chose to come on a weekend instead. Surprised to find a long line of parked cars anyway, but managed to find a spot just fine. We made our way over to GZ, pondering what may have originally been here, and soon spotted the interesting container and attachment. I havent seen one like this before. Thanks chamad

Over the last week IolantheK and me have looking out towards the bay at a little sailing boat with no smilies We decided to try and light it up (well mostly, a few challenges have remained dark )Some were easy, whilst others weren't so much harder but took a while to decode, whilst others required one to get into the mind of the CO In the end I think we managed to solve all but three without assistance (Me thinks some puzzling may require a psychiatry degree, as IolantheK says "purple because aliens" )So with that done we headed out over the last weekend and found and signed a great variety of caches!!*Well done chamad TFTCs*

12-Nov-23
T-Tech and I headed out again this afternoon to see if we could finish off this series A very easy solve here! T-Tech spotted the container before I even reached GZ. TFTC, chamad.

29-Oct-23
This series' puzzles were interesting and a great tutorial for those learning the different types. I was able to recognise most puzzles, and then had to research a few others on the typical puzzle-solving websites. Regarding this puzzle, I was able to be on the same thinking of the CO, and so it wasn't long before the coordinates were obtained (and checked successfully too). I didn't realise that the CO had walked the bush tracks of PNG until now.Regarding the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series, I really enjoyed my Sunday afternoon in the industrial areas of Eagle Farm, Pinkenba and Myrtletown, and it was largely quiet other than a few trucks and Uber drivers / taxis heading between the ports of the cruise terminal and Tangalooma. I think it is a choice area to place the geoart, as it is out of the way and its quieter street network makes it optimal to add geocaches. Furthermore, I felt like there were a few opportunities to add larger-sized containers with the suburbs' factories/industry. To give others an indication of timing, I was able to collect 24 finds in 2:40 hr, commencing at 14:20 hr. The series gets a big thumbs-up! A quick cache find at this location, and another nice 3D printing. Ive seen this version before (perhaps it was in Ballarat's GeoTour), but nevertheless, a suitable location here too. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This afternoon, I had a few hours available whilst baby Cottontail was napping, and a family get-together, so I decided to finally return to the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series having visited the area briefly during its first night of publication. A delightful afternoon with good weather and reasonably quick finds that had my mood in good spirits despite gallivanting around this series solo.

Cache- I was able to ride my bike right up to GZ where i spotted the cook tether first and then the cache. Puzzle- My geo work friend spotted the solution for this puzzle . Its her favorite go to.Fun day- Today i decided to go for a bike ride from home to find some of this series. I had to ride past a few because one there was a truck parked right at GZ and the Truckee obviously asleep with the curtains drawn. Another someone pulled up in their car right in front of GZ just as i got there and others i rode past that needed either fishing gear or had off road attribute that i need for November . Also i cant get 2 multis in one day . I ended up going 53km in 5 hours and it is a great place to ride on a weekend so i am looking forward to coming back next month. Thanks chamad for all the fun

Tftc Chamad, weekday is probably not the best choice for these as the area is quite busy.Enjoyed the puzzlesNice geo artNice container and tether

A team up with Gunnie69 today to tackle this geoart. He had them solved, and some of the challenges we both were able to qualify for. So today we made a team effort to make the finds here. We started up top and worked our way down. Some were tricky, like working out on site puzzles, and some were easy straightforward finds - but hey that is all part of the fun of making a find. Was able to park nice and close to this one. Nicely made cache and holder on this one. TFTC

You know those times where a simple puzzle eludes you for an embarrassingly long time? Yeah, that was this one for me and I really struggled to get a start. Red Face Once it was sorted, it was added to the list for this morning and on arrival, a very neat little home made cache was found. SmileWith all the puzzles solved at home where I could and the challenges checked for qualification, I teamed up with NurseyJulie this morning to pick up what we could. Heading to the furthest point to start, then working our way back toward the big smoke, we managed to get almost every cache on the list, despite spending a chunk of time sorting the multi and unknown caches out at the boat ramp. Red Face I was sad to see the multi over there once we had the final coords. SadThanks for the variety and some interesting hides Chamad, we had a great morning hunting icons. Smile

Out finding a few caches with Dora the Explorer! The sailboat geoart was our target for the day. All caches, except one, were quickly located and the logs signed. We enjoyed this series with its variety of puzzles, D/Ts, containers and hides. Thanks, chamad, for the effort involved in this geoart for the enjoyment of all cachers.....and TFTC.

Today's geocaching adventure took me to a most extraordinary place: a heavy industrial area perched alongside the majestic river. What made this expedition truly unique was the fusion of mystery, multi, letterbox, and challenge caches, each ingeniously hidden amidst the gritty industrial landscape.

This power trail was unlike any other, not just because of its diversity but also the added thrill of tree climbs, tree fishing, and exceptional camouflage. It was an adventure lover's paradise!

The relentless buzz of machinery contrasted beautifully with the soothing flow of the nearby river, setting the stage for an unforgettable day of geocaching. As I navigated through the labyrinthine structures, I felt like an urban explorer on a quest for hidden treasures.

Tree climbs and tree fishing were the name of the game in this power trail. Each cache brought its unique challenge - from scaling heights to reaching seemingly impossible places. The adrenaline rush with each find was exhilarating!

Camouflage took on a whole new meaning as these caches were expertly hidden in plain sight, blending seamlessly with their industrial surroundings. It took a keen eye and a patient hand to reveal them.

The logbooks within these caches told tales of fellow adventurers who had dared to tackle this extraordinary trail. I proudly added my geocaching username, the date, and a heartfelt message of gratitude in each logbook.

This power trail was a testament to the ingenuity of the cache owners, who turned an industrial landscape into a geocacher's playground. To them, I extend my utmost appreciation.

As I conclude this epic geocaching journey, I am left with memories of exhilarating climbs, unexpected finds, and the undeniable thrill of urban exploration. Until the next adventure, may your caches be as creative as this one!

Out and about picking up a few newer caches down around the airport, hearing the planes thunder overhead.

Nice 3d printed stuff, I tried getting into it but a bit too finnicky for me.

On a short break from work today I jumped in the geowagon and headed out to pick up a few caches to help clear my mind.

On arrival a safe place to park the car was found and after a short walk, I soon laid my hands on the cache and made my mark on the log before safely returning the cache back in its hides hole.

Quick walk back to the car and I was quickly off to grab another in the series.

A big thanks to the cache owner for making this series available for fellow cachers to find.

Cheers

On a quick trip North with a few Sydney mates and a colourful local for a few days on the water, in the mud and up the hills, running around grabbing some beaut caches. Much joint puzzle-solving and planning paid off. On day 3, we left the water and mud behind in favour of tall trees, steep hills and a final race around the streets near the airport. We signed with the space-saving catch-all, megagom, in memory of previous exploits. Thanks chamad.

#7351Day 3 of MegaGOM boating and tree fishing expedition with **bella at waggy**, **Baktrak**, **Purplepeopleater** and an anonymous local. After 2 days on the water, it was time to remain on terra firma. But we still caught some fish, and for some, it was a big slog up a steep hill. Towards the end of the day, it was a mad dash mopping up around the airport and still managing to get through security on time.Enjoyed all the caches and the company was reasonable as well.TFTC chamad

Some plans were hatched with a local and some Sydney Siders for a 3 day quick caching trip which involved getting the boat out, yaks, mud, poles, ladders, trees etc. Plenty of solving was done and routes plotted. The boat, the MV Grumpy lived up to its name with some cantankerous displays and the need for running repairs on serval occasions so our timetable had to be amended on more than one occasion.
Day 3 was planned to be a land day well with a few trees as well.
This was the last leg, how much of the art work can be collected before the flight in a few hours? The answer is most of it.
A number of us have thought we have previously been the victims of caching identity theft by that mysterious mob called the GOM’s. As a result and given it felt like a bit of a mega the logs were signed MegaGOM. TFTC

27-Aug-23
Together with Crash2079, Baktrak, bella at waggy and a notorious QLDer this was day 3 of the MegaGOM's special edition Brisbane adventure.
Sans the boat today, there were far less mishaps other than losing a certain member of the party for some time.

Caches all found and in good condition.

In two lots TBU1BIKESU and I got all the sailing boat caches - including signing the challenge caches, but I still have to work on them to qualify.

We climbed up trees, fished a lot and bent over to get the cache containers, and signed the log with TBU.

This song always make me laugh a bit because when my wife and I were driving around Tasmania many years ago, it seemed every single restaurant we attended was playing Enya as background dining music! Must have been the era.

I recognised the puzzle type here very quickly.

At GZ, the cache is very nicely tethered onto the fence in a form of construction I haven’t seen before. Good stuff!

TFTC where all is fine.

After the Sweden, Sweden, Sweden... Bork! Bork!! BORK!!!! event this morning, with a promise of a trip to Officeworks I got Karicka in the car… Beardman75 came along as arm candy after ensuring he had the appropriate footwear on…

So my plans to save these caches for a rainy day went out the window… a fabulous afternoon full of dark humour, reminiscing and man bonding… not to be confused with bondage… that’s different…

Someone’s been busy with the 3D printer…

Thanks chamad

Out today with RoddyC hatzofff Imbunda and Echocage1 to grab as many of these sailboat caches as we can. Early start and little traffic to interfere with our caching adventures.

Easy puzzle solve and once at gz realised where the cache is. Interesting tethering. Seems like we are 2nd to find on this cache. Log signed as Geo 5.
A fav point from me.

I had settled down over dinner, hoping to watch the cricket, when I noticed my inbox had been smashed with notifications for this series. I was feeling lazy and opted not to head out chasing them, but instead stayed up late, cheering every Aussie ashes run and Pommy wicket and solved most of the puzzles.

I quickly worked out what was required here for the puzzle, but my attention to detail (it was late) was lacking. A single letter can make a whole world of difference it seems, Fixing that up, I got a green tick.

At GZ today, there was a lot of traffic, but I secured a park nearby. My GPS wanted me to search 6 or 7 metres further past the fence. I wasn't certain if this was private property or I just hadn't found the access point. While I was pondering my next move, I spotted the obvious container.

How did I miss that on the first pass? All in good order here with a nice blank logbook. ***FTF*** 0849 hrs. Nicely played, chamad.
