Solved this one recently. Headed to GZ .All quiet here. A quick find. Signed the log and returned to where I found it. Thanks Chamad. All good with this cache and puzzle.
Like many others, I've been chasing caches with off-road attributes this month. Yesterday, domsky suggested to me that I should come and get the sailing boat caches with that attribute. So last night I sat down and nutted my way through the necessary puzzles, knowing that Sunday would be a good day to come and look for them. GeoM decided to join me this afternoon and we had a fun afternoon finding caches and exploring the area. This was another code I am quite familiar with and it was just a matter of working through the process of decoding it. It was our fourth stop today and although it took a little longer than some of the others, GeoM got it in the end. He was enjoying being the one for find all the caches so far. Thanks chamad for another great puzzle and a nicely hidden cache!
Out with GS1947, Domskey and chamadThanks for creating, placing and maintaining for our enjoyment Party time GCARTY0 - 05 October 2025 Sunshine Coast
The puzzle here looked to be in very fine print and so we considered giving it a wide berth, as per the listing heading. But with glasses on, all became apparent and today our name is in the log on another fun puzzle in this great series. Thanks chamad Domsky
So many caches, so many containers, so much work goes into creating geo-arts like this one. One could say that you could do it with your eyes closed, or blindfolded, but they wouldnt understand.A nice and easy find at Ground zero. So easy that Blind Freddy could find it.See what I did there? Thanks, chamad. Youre not the only one who writes bad jokes.
out to finish the last of our solved todayi learnt to read this in primary schooloh i am so stealing your tether idea
I have spent a bit of time over the last couple of weeks trying to solve all of the puzzles for this geo art series. Today I had a couple of hours spare between family commitments so I headed over the gateway to Pinkenba to squeeze in as many finds as I could. I recognised the requirements of the puzzle here straight away, and pretty soon I had some coordinates. At GZ it was a super quick find today. All is good with the log sheet. Thanks very much for the cache placement and creation of the series Chamad. A truly super effort. Cheers
Over visiting from NZ and using the time to do as much caching as other commitments allow. Today I had teamed up with GEM_54 to try and knock off as many of the sailboat series as possible.I'm certainly glad we chose a Sunday to do these ones, as the area was almost deserted and so parking near GZ's was never a problem, but I can imagine how busy it would be on a week day, with lots of workers and heavy traffic. After stopping for a bite to eat, time to continue on with the final third of the series. Still on a roll with this one too, a nice quick find maintaining our 100% find rate today. TFTC
We look like finishing off what we start today. We are working our way through this art trail, without too many problems. Another gotcha here for us.
Found with bennyboy3677 and PeytieCakes while staying in Brissy for the night, thanks for the fun
7/7/2024 Find #7055Pprime had suggested a few weeks ago the idea of us working on the sailboat puzzle caches out this way. So, as it was holiday time, I figured I could put a little of the grey matter to work and see what I could come up with. And between us we did pretty darned well, I will say. So it was decided that today he and T4mmmy would collect me and we would take a trip over here to claim everything we could, getting me out and about for the last day of my break, before the rude return to work tomorrow. Oddly the first thing we found here in a tree was a copy of the Quran! Then at the right tree we quickly found the cache. Thanks for the cache chamad.
Accio 09:50:56A lovely day out 'sailing' with T4mmmy and 1MinnimooThanks chamad for entertaining me at this location. *{Overall find #12547}*
I find myself once again in Brisbane for a short visit. After the duties of the day, chasing some caches is certainly a good way of making the best of being in Queenslands caching Mekka. Unfortunately, it is rather rainy this time around, so I am focusing more on the urban caches, just in case the hunt has to be ended sooner rather than later. This was one of the caches I have found during my trip, so thanks chamad for creating the Small sized 2.5/1.5 Mystery Geocache #35 Give a Wide Berth.
Out and about today , visiting around the Brisbane Airport between the Airport and the River. Headed towards GZ and after a short search, cache was found. TFTC
Out and about for our second day of caching on the northside and today's area was over near the airport. Quite a variety to keep us busy and we were able to keep out of the showers most of the time later in the day. Thanks to all the COs.
Thanks for the series chamad and arranging this hide. Quiet this morning which is great.
Crew 153, Mrs Crew and NobbysNuts hit the road to find a few caches on Leap Day. We had targeted some of the caches in this series.I think we took the only empty parking spot in the area before heading for a quick find. TFTC chamad
Out with Crew 153 and NobbysNuts to find a few caches on Leap Day. TFTC chamad
Back on my weekly Tuesday run to collect one more from this series. There was surprisingly little traffic this morning which enabled me to park right at GZ. I almost didnt need to leave the car to sign the log. If only I had longer arms. Thanks chamad
2nd day of collecting this series, and a much drier & quieter day today which allowed for some creative parking at some GZs. A fun series with a variety of different hides, and no DNFs which is a good day. TFTCaches!
When we pulled up Mrs Woodyrothwell told me she could see the hide before we had even got out of the car. I no longer just take her word because she has been known to tell me she could see a cache when we are 300 metres away from it.There perched in a tree just above head height was a blue book. I thought that if this was the cache it had done amazingly well in the rain. It turned out to be a copy of the Quran and if the prophet did indeed hear the word of God, then God was making sure this book lasted in the elements. The book had an English cover and Islamic text so without an interpreter it wasnt going to make much sense. We thought it a strange place to leave a book so we put it back in the tree for the next sucker. We moved over to the other tree where we found a tether without a cache. Logging with the permission of the CO. tftc
GZ had Me smack between two possible locations so checked the first one to no avail and sure enough it was in the second. All good. TFTC
Trying to build up numbers and a certain attribute, this geoart was our main target for the day while we had some time to kill. Quick find here.Tftc chamadFind #4820
Out for a short time today to collect some of this geoart while the area is not busy. I collected 7 smileys in between the small showers. I found the cache empty so have added a new log & bag. TFTC
GCA9ZVP #35 Give a Wide BerthOut for a morning of caching with Que Sera and KerriMG to grab some of these sailing boats which had an attribute we were interested in. Also ran into Kolour which was lovely. Nice park and grab here. TFTC chamad
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific. This morning I headed out on my to find some of the solved sailing boat caches I ended up finding & signing the log on 18 caches for the morning. I like this type of hide Found & logged using Cachly for iOS
I had solved many of this series, some easy and some hard, a couple of months ago. Wanting to find a certain attribute this month for a challenge, I drove out here early hoping to avoid too many people. As it turned out, it was a very busy day as there is a cruise ship at the terminal and lots of fishermen at various locations. At at a few of the caches I bumped into nikid1, KerriMG and Que Sera who had the same idea. Quick find here. Tftc
Over the last week IolantheK and me have looking out towards the bay at a little sailing boat with no smilies We decided to try and light it up (well mostly, a few challenges have remained dark )Some were easy, whilst others weren't so much harder but took a while to decode, whilst others required one to get into the mind of the CO In the end I think we managed to solve all but three without assistance (Me thinks some puzzling may require a psychiatry degree, as IolantheK says "purple because aliens" )So with that done we headed out over the last weekend and found and signed a great variety of caches!!*Well done chamad TFTCs*
T-Tech and I headed out again this afternoon to see if we could finish off the CO's My Little Sailing Boat Geoart series Another one solved by pen and paper. A quick find here. TFTC, chamad.
Another early morning cache finding spree while at work. I come this way for work just before 2 am in the morning. Which is a good thing because there is no one around to see me searching for caches AND I have somewhere to park my 20t truck. A quick find at GZ. Thanks for the cache.
This series' puzzles were interesting and a great tutorial for those learning the different types. I was able to recognise most puzzles, and then had to research a few others on the typical puzzle-solving websites. Regarding this puzzle, there were no issues in the code's identification and subsequent deciphering, and coordinates obtained for a find when next in the area.Regarding the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series, I really enjoyed my Sunday afternoon in the industrial areas of Eagle Farm, Pinkenba and Myrtletown, and it was largely quiet other than a few trucks and Uber drivers / taxis heading between the ports of the cruise terminal and Tangalooma. I think it is a choice area to place the geoart, as it is out of the way and its quieter street network makes it optimal to add geocaches. Furthermore, I felt like there were a few opportunities to add larger-sized containers with the suburbs' factories/industry. To give others an indication of timing, I was able to collect 24 finds in 2:40 hr, commencing at 14:20 hr. The series gets a big thumbs-up! I parked in the median strip area and crossed the road to make a quick find. It was quite the blazon hide, although I guess not too many muggles leisurely walk in this area for the cache to be found. Unfortunately, the cache container lid was missing and the logbook only had a couple of names. I mentioned this geocache to the CO that I had no lid to help with maintenance, who was going to call past the area for maintenance anyway. Thanks [chamad](https://coord.info/PRPP06G) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This afternoon, I had a few hours available whilst baby Cottontail was napping, and a family get-together, so I decided to finally return to the *My Little Sailing Boat Geoart* series having visited the area briefly during its first night of publication. A delightful afternoon with good weather and reasonably quick finds that had my mood in good spirits despite gallivanting around this series solo.
Tftc Chamad, weekday is probably not the best choice for these as the area is quite busy.Enjoyed the puzzlesNice geo art
A team up with Gunnie69 today to tackle this geoart. He had them solved, and some of the challenges we both were able to qualify for. So today we made a team effort to make the finds here. We started up top and worked our way down. Some were tricky, like working out on site puzzles, and some were easy straightforward finds - but hey that is all part of the fun of making a find. If Gunnie could have parked closer, I could have reached this one. However, the lid was off and on the ground as well as the log missing. Soon rectified that and tucked it back in. TFTC
Pulled up at GZ and NurseyJulie jumped out and quickly had the container in hand. With all the puzzles solved at home where I could and the challenges checked for qualification, I teamed up with NurseyJulie this morning to pick up what we could. Heading to the furthest point to start, then working our way back toward the big smoke, we managed to get almost every cache on the list, despite spending a chunk of time sorting the multi and unknown caches out at the boat ramp. I was sad to see the multi over there once we had the final coords. Thanks for the variety and some interesting hides Chamad, we had a great morning hunting icons.
Out finding a few caches with Dora the Explorer! The sailboat geoart was our target for the day. All caches, except one, were quickly located and the logs signed. We enjoyed this series with its variety of puzzles, D/Ts, containers and hides. Thanks, chamad, for the effort involved in this geoart for the enjoyment of all cachers.....and TFTC.
Today's geocaching adventure took me to a most extraordinary place: a heavy industrial area perched alongside the majestic river. What made this expedition truly unique was the fusion of mystery, multi, letterbox, and challenge caches, each ingeniously hidden amidst the gritty industrial landscape.
This power trail was unlike any other, not just because of its diversity but also the added thrill of tree climbs, tree fishing, and exceptional camouflage. It was an adventure lover's paradise!
The relentless buzz of machinery contrasted beautifully with the soothing flow of the nearby river, setting the stage for an unforgettable day of geocaching. As I navigated through the labyrinthine structures, I felt like an urban explorer on a quest for hidden treasures.
Tree climbs and tree fishing were the name of the game in this power trail. Each cache brought its unique challenge - from scaling heights to reaching seemingly impossible places. The adrenaline rush with each find was exhilarating!
Camouflage took on a whole new meaning as these caches were expertly hidden in plain sight, blending seamlessly with their industrial surroundings. It took a keen eye and a patient hand to reveal them.
The logbooks within these caches told tales of fellow adventurers who had dared to tackle this extraordinary trail. I proudly added my geocaching username, the date, and a heartfelt message of gratitude in each logbook.
This power trail was a testament to the ingenuity of the cache owners, who turned an industrial landscape into a geocacher's playground. To them, I extend my utmost appreciation.
As I conclude this epic geocaching journey, I am left with memories of exhilarating climbs, unexpected finds, and the undeniable thrill of urban exploration. Until the next adventure, may your caches be as creative as this one!

Out and about picking up a few newer caches down around the airport, hearing the planes thunder overhead.
This one was found with no lid and empty container hanging upside down. Lots of cigarettes butts around, may have been discovered by bored smokers.
Maintenance performed. Log replaced with a waterproof logsheet and a suitable lid found on ground.

#7342Day 3 of MegaGOM boating and tree fishing expedition with **bella at waggy**, **Baktrak**, **Purplepeopleater** and an anonymous local. After 2 days on the water, it was time to remain on terra firma. But we still caught some fish, and for some, it was a big slog up a steep hill. Towards the end of the day, it was a mad dash mopping up around the airport and still managing to get through security on time.Enjoyed all the caches and the company was reasonable as well.TFTC chamad
On a quick trip North with a few Sydney mates and a colourful local for a few days on the water, in the mud and up the hills, running around grabbing some beaut caches. Much joint puzzle-solving and planning paid off. On day 3, we left the water and mud behind in favour of tall trees, steep hills and a final race around the streets near the airport.
We signed with the space-saving catch-all, “megagom”, in memory of previous exploits.
Thanks chamad.

Some plans were hatched with a local and some Sydney Siders for a 3 day quick caching trip which involved getting the boat out, yaks, mud, poles, ladders, trees etc. Plenty of solving was done and routes plotted. The boat, the MV Grumpy lived up to its name with some cantankerous displays and the need for running repairs on serval occasions so our timetable had to be amended on more than one occasion.
Day 3 was planned to be a land day well with a few trees as well.
This was the last leg, how much of the art work can be collected before the flight in a few hours? The answer is most of it.
A number of us have thought we have previously been the victims of caching identity theft by that mysterious mob called the GOM’s. As a result and given it felt like a bit of a mega the logs were signed MegaGOM. TFTC

Together with Crash2079, Baktrak, bella at waggy and a notorious QLDer this was day 3 of the MegaGOM's special edition Brisbane adventure.
Sans the boat today, there were far less mishaps other than losing a certain member of the party for some time.
Caches all found and in good condition.

We climbed up trees, fished a lot and bent over to get the cache containers, and signed the log with TBU.

Lovely day out caching with geo friends, and Saturday sure is a good day to be in this industrial landscape, with very little traffic to contend with. This one required no mayday calls, spotted quickly from the cabin.Thank you, chamad, for placing this cache for our benefit combined with all the hard work, time, and effort you put into the puzzles & hides ????

The public holiday today was helpful for parking but I was very surprised all day by the number of businesses around this area that were clearly ignoring it.
I parked nearby and noticed the cache container quickly. It looks like it may be a bit hard to conceal it well right here.
When I opened the container, it was empty. Uh oh.
I had a good log sheet available so I put that in, but I wonder if the container was raided by a random muggle. I guess we’ll see how it goes. TFTC

After the Sweden, Sweden, Sweden... Bork! Bork!! BORK!!!! event this morning, with a promise of a trip to Officeworks I got Karicka in the car… Beardman75 came along as arm candy after ensuring he had the appropriate footwear on…
So my plans to save these caches for a rainy day went out the window… a fabulous afternoon full of dark humour, reminiscing and man bonding… not to be confused with bondage… that’s different…
Thanks chamad

Noticed that this new piece of geoart earlier this week and managed to get through quiet a few over the last few days. The unfortunately I didn’t have much of a window to get out and pick them up as we had interstate guests to entertain this weekend.
Did however manage to sneak a hour or so in late on Sunday and made quick work of the closest 10 or so caches to home.
Caches all found safe and well and logs quickly signed and returned to there containers.
A big thanks to the cache owner for making this series available to be found. I’ll soon be back for the rest.
Cheers

This morning i decided to go for a bike ride and find just 2 of these new caches . I am slowly working my way through solving these puzzles and also will slowly work my way finding them as they are a good excuse for a weekend bike ride. At GZ i soon spotted this hide and it was great on a Saturday with no one around. Thanks for all the fun
Thanks for the puzzle and hide. No feeling around for this one at gz, stood out like a baboon’s butt.
I had settled down over dinner, hoping to watch the cricket, when I noticed my inbox had been smashed with notifications for this series. I was feeling lazy and opted not to head out chasing them, but instead stayed up late, cheering every Aussie ashes run and Pommy wicket and solved most of the puzzles.
After a lazy breakfast, I headed out with the intention of snaffling up as many of the first to finds that were still available.
Another straightforward puzzle and a nice quick find at GZ today. Surprisingly, I was interrupted by some pedestrians here when making the find. Another blank logbook was discovered with the ***FTF*** claimed at 0900 hrs
Many thanks Chamad
Pete
