WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 43 - York to Wandering via Beverly and some vary back roads. It was straight back to Beverly, to then get on a new road heading South West. This gave me a good go at few Wandoo caches before trying some road option google wanted, but tomtom was not so keen on. This seemed to mean dirt. Despite the rain, both sections were firm, and I even managed one cache out in the who knows where before arriving in Wandering. Once set up I wandered around town, if you can call a council town with no shops a town, for the Labs and a couple of other caches. After a quirt afternoon doing logs, it was off to the tavern for dinner. At least there was a good crowd there. There were two caches just on the edge of York by the caravan park, so off I went after getting all hooked up. Of course it did not go to plan and those two were not found. I then went a little further to get two caches before heading back south. Thanks for the cache Whitburn232147538.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Leaping into 2020 A#414**Albida**

Taurus Six and I are staying in York for a few days over the long weekend we made it an extra long weekend by travelling up here yesterday. We spent the morning wondering around the streets of York taking in the history, having a leisurely brunch , browsing the shops , searching the second hand book shops and listening to the street music which is part of the Jazz Festival apparently. All very pleasant and relaxing . We did collect a few caches while walking around , before heading for our vehicle so we could widen the circle of geocaches to collect. It was a much cooler day than yesterday low twenties and overcast which made it excellent for a spot of geocaching. All in all very enjoyable. This is our twelfth cache find of the day while we are exploring some of these beautiful back roads around York . Surprisingly the road was quite busy here . We quickly found, logged and replaced cache . Thanks for the cache Whitburn 2321 .
Have travelled with iluvtrekking up the WA coast to Darwin, down the Centre and in the Flinders. After spending some time in Peterborough, Minlaton, Moonta,Whyalla and Wudinna we headed across the Nullarbor, picking up caches along the way including Kambalda and the Goldfields. Winding our way home now and a quick flit through Doodlakine, Muckinbudin and Kellerberrin. Now spending a couple of nights in Northam to grab some hides. After rain last night we decided to head out early to fulfill the days agenda before more rain rolled in. Thanks Whitburn2321
Having travelled with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast, down through the centre, the Flinders Ranges, the Yorke Peninsula, and the Nullarbor, we are now on the home stretch. We are staying in Northam for a few days, enjoying the countryside and looking for caches. TFTC.
Found it. TFTC Whitburn2321. Happy to make a find here, replaced as found. Nice series
Almost at our long sort destination. Our hearts fill with joy at the closeness of our journey's end. Although my companion and I have looked our hardest for the animals mentioned by the author of this series we have yet to see our eyes upon any. Nevertheless the caches are well maintained and easy to find. We thank the industry of the CO.
