Quick detour on ou vtrip to Tamworth. Needed this for a particular challenge of this CO's. I was expecting a long search, but enough info to point us straight to it. tftc
Awesome hiding spot, spent a while looking for this one eventually found it. thankyou
Finally found this on the 3rd (and a half) attempt. Awesome cache. Thanks for placing this one and for your help
This cache was found today and brings our overall cache find tally to 13423.Its always nice to avenge a DNF. Today this was a nice quick find. Thanks lee737 for the cache.
Followed instructions and there it was. Coords were great.Heading home after 2 months.Signed The Roos.In such a hurry I forgot to take a picture!Tftc
Followed the details and the hint to find this cache on the date of all horses birthdays. Nice hide. TFTC
We had hoped to find this one today but alas it wasnt to be. Thanks anyway lee737
Couldnt find it. No roosters in the area anymore, one of the campers near by looks after them now. Will have another look another day as Im determined to find it! I work in the area so come by this park every now and then.
Came back after an additional clue, looked a little harder!! Well done. Thanks for the cache
DNF too clever for us today! Looked high and low in all the holes No roosters today to help with the search.
After checking out some more modern mining monsters at my dad's open work day we stopped for the toilet and found out there was a cache TFTC
With the radar this morning suggesting the showers were mostly coastal, I decided to head up to the Hunter valley for some caching, targeting in particular some D/T ratings I need for a challenge. This one was my first stop and it didn't take me too long to get my hand on the cache, with everything in good condition. No sign of the rooster today but I did see a pile of feathers so maybe someone had chicken for dinner. Many thanks for bringing me to this interesting piece of machinery (and for the 3/1 rating).
With a 4 day Anzac long weekend we took a trip to the Upper Hunter for some caches in the Sandy Hollow/Denman area. After a day of walking, driving and finding some great caches, this was our last stop for the day on our way home. After a bit of searching and the helpful use of the hint we had cache in hand and quickly signed. The rooster is still hanging around but he didn't seem to mind us being there. TFTC.
The cache guards were on duty we looked we left only to return, determined to not be beaten by a couple of foghorn leghorns. Eventuated that it was nothing an umbrella couldnt fix. Day 6 of the travels towards Barrington Tops before heading to the 2024 Canberra Geobash. Thanks lee737 for placing this here, contributing to this great game for myself and others to enjoy.
Found I did return about an hour or so later. There is a trick We came back nearing roosting time. We had a plan. We had a TOTT PLAN. Those KILLER COCJS had met their match. They were waiting. Standing guard. Pic attached. TOTTS used were large umbrella and fishing pole. The large umbrella seemed to scare off the attack roosters. The fishing pole was my last line of defence. I didnt want to use that while I was, say, on the ground with my head inside the machine. The duo of attack roosters seemed to not compute the danger of the umbrella shield. We were invincible. We were heros. Ticks would have even bounced off us. Snakes would slither away. Roosters may even start to lay. So nice to find this on the big yellow mining monster. Found on the Mega Capital Geobash coastal loop via Adelaide - Barrington - coast to Mexico City loop. A lot of caches and white line fever was sweated out. Thanks lee737 and clear skies from TeamAstro. Cache the planet! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *Ps need Roostaman. Never saw a fox here. Figures..
Warning. Warning. Attack Roosters guard cache. You pwned us n00bs.The roosters are guarding the cache. They attack. You need a looker and a person with a long broom!! Pic. 2 cocks. Sheesh. Pics of Rooster cocks attached. Are they still there?? We will return.Look look look. You are only as good as your next find. Thanks and clear skies from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet!
It took a bit of searching in the nooks and crannies, but I eventually found it. The machine was guarded by a couple of roosters.
Stopped had a good look around this piece of machinery. The roosters are still there, one kept following me around & eventually decided to attack me when I least expected it.Soon decided to log a DNF
On our way from Bendy to Sydney with the geooma and the red geomobile, we had the opportunity for a few short stops. After the closed winery stop this was one on our way and a find in about 5 minutes. How do I know? i set myself a timer not wanting geooma to wait to long. It was going off and I was ready to give up when she said I had not checked over there I did so and a bit more and a minute later I had the CIH. The funny thing with the search was the two rooster who seemed to have taken residence here and followed my every step! Coming a bit too close when I was low. A memorable search for a hide in a great place that deserves a cache. A FAVpoint. Thank you Team737 for putting the cache out and maintaining it.
Find #1775Off today to Coonamble and this cache was first in my list. As we arrived we were met with 2 roosters who were keen on helping us to find this cache. After looking around we finally found this uncommon difficulty/terrain cache. Log and cache in good condition TFTC
Got the hint but it still took a while to find the cache. I did not climb on the machine.Driving between gold coast and Adelaide and stopping for the occasional cache.. thanks for the diversion from the highway.
Nice hide! Had a look around for a couple of minutes with no luck on the blind side and stepped back to my car for a think. Was debating whether or not to try the other side, but thought about it some more and trusting the clues made the find quickly soon after.Nice container, nice hide! TFTC Team737
This old machine is a fair way from home for us, and after the last quasi-DNF we thought we should check it - as luck would have it we were driving past today to go camping in Denman - we dropped in, found the cache where it was hidden... watch that hint!
Very cool old machine.... gave it a look 3x around, but moving on due to lack of patience
Tftc!
Tftc!
So many spots it could be, but there’s some insight given into where it could be which really helped! Kids were frustrated by the desire to flaunt the instructions but lack of permission! Ha ha. I seem to remember finding another cache at this monster a few years back - but in an alternate orifice! TNLN TFTC
Couldn’t look too hard for this one as a man had pulled up to have his lunch right opposite GZ!
Never mind, did some CITO and off we went.

Made this find during my work lunch break. I couldn't just leave it there unsigned when it was so close. TFTC
