Found tyftc. But the bottom of the box was broken off with the inside everywhere
Found with fitzy_1965 whilst on our way into Sydney for a work awards night. Our navigation system decided it was on a different road so we had to do a blocky but got there in the end.Neat cache which we think isn't quite working as it should.Fav point for the set up.
Found with minniek during a weekend visit to Sydney.minniek and I are attending a Non-Geocaching Event (a what??) in Sydney this weekend, and we of course grabbed a few caches along the way for International Geocaching Day. We selected a few of the rarer types to fill in a few calendar dates. This looked like an interesting Letterbox Hybrid to visit, and we weren't disappointed. After missing the car park, we had to do a couple of U-turns which worked out ok. The cache itself, while a bit damaged, is a great piece of craftmanship. We soon had the log in hand and stamped our visit. Replaced everything as found. We then headed off to the next cache on our list. Thanks The Booos !! Nicely done. Favourite Point !
Out and about today with The Rats and Hoojar around Western Sydney tackling a number of solved puzzles, multis and whatever else we could find along the way.TFTC!
Between Steeba, The Rats, and myself, it is over three months since we've all been home at the same time. So with us all back in the same place at the same time, it was the perfect reason to head out caching for a day. A cold and windy Sunday in western Sydney, aiming for a few series that we hadn't yet found. We found a heap of caches, of which this was one. As always the journey is better than the destination, and the banter made the journey.Cheers
Out for a days caching with the gong gangsters. We came looking for caches in the Luddenham area. There were plenty of new caches out here since we were last here. Thanks to the COs for placing and maintaining the caches we found.TFTC
Want sure what to look for until oh yeah! As previously stated though someones been too rough with it so it doesnt work like it probably should. However I give a FP for the construction of it! TFYC
I thought I might know what was required here so I came armed with a list of potential options. It turns out that the container wasn't quite as intended which made access easier than expected, or so I thought. I had found something but wasn't sure what to do next, I seemed to have reached a dead end.It was only after a bit of fumbling around that I happened to stumble on the solution, and the bison tube revealed itself.SL TNLN TFTCAwarding a favourite point.
Continuing my afternoon drive to clear some map and enjoy the caches, this is my furthest north for the day. Convenient parking, though even when I parked I didn't realise this was a reserve until I saw the council sign and gate.I strolled on into the reserve and found the cache without much difficulty. Unfortunately it's been visited by someone less than gentle and was partly dismantled. I took a photo to send the CO, and put the cache back together reasonably well until they arrive. A real shame, it's a nice build. And I've definitely seen this idea before, probably from this CO, so I like to think I would've worked it out pretty quickly but now I'll never know. Once it's fixed many others will enjoy it.
Located at 5:44pm. #1409.Full log to follow. FP + 1. ! Baruch Hashem! TFTLHC! Much obliged for the placement The Booos!Kindest Regards, - Alephroom.
Nice to find a Letterbox Hybrid these days that IS at the Posted Coordinates. And an impressive Letterbox it was. I momentarily felt I was at the dead-letter office, overwhelmed by possible postcodes, but had a sudden breakthrough and had the mail collected in no time. An FP from me. TFTC The Booos
Walked over and a very quiet reserve holding a secret. No funny business to be had, rather COH quickly
Since I am over here to get more finds nearby, Ill see if I can convert my DNF to a Smiley. My goodness, what a tricky discovery. So glad to get this out of the way, even if its quite dark at 9 pm. Thanks for my 24th find of the day.
Another unsuccessful attempt, however the cache order is admirable! Just couldnt crack the code onsite after an hour. Will have another excuse to come back here. One day, thanks
My first cache for this weekends adventure! After a non-stop drive from Canberra after an early morning work shift, I finally arrived to my approximate destination with this cache bookmarked as one to grab on the way! I pulled up at the gates and had a nice stroll in. I think what I was most amazed by is the placement of such a large cache in such an open area! It would almost be impossible to miss this cache as a muggle! I wonder how curious they will get! I tried many combinations for the lock, reading through the description, looking at the container, and using some logic. After about 10 minutes I finally struck gold and the cache popped open for me to access it! Definitely a favourite point for the excellent container and field puzzle! Thanks for the fun
Loved this one. Dog ran around here. Found when leaving, thinking too difficult. Fav point
I obviously have a short memory at times . After trying a number of ways without any luck , I got in touch with PAF who jogged my memory. Yes, I did see this at CO Event it was magic ! I must be getting old ! A clever cache that deserves a FP from me . Nice quiet area and ideal place to have a cache . Golden Paperclip left . TFTC Booos
I don't like post codes! The idea was good at first. But then they began to rely too much on them. Not far from here is a post code that covers a very large area, and mail gets sent to the original post office first, before getting passed on to the correct location. This causes long delays in receiving packages, some even sent through express post, who also send their packages through yet another third party, increasing the chance of lost mail. Lately I've found the only reliable form of postage is through couriers. Enough of my rant. Thanks for the cache
Absolutely awesome creation and set-up. After trying a couple of things, it ended up being different to what I thought. Really love the novelty sized enormous bison. Made me laugh. TFTC
A nice, quiet location for a cache. Well. We knew there'd be a trick to this and tried two things which unfortunately didn't work. Then we tried a few other things which also didn't work. That only left us with _ _ _ _ other options to try. Then Dan tried something and managed to get CIH. Of course, he pretended that he knew what he was doing. However, it was just a fluke. But don't tell Sue that. Another great cache from The Booos.
[Finally submitting some logs that have been in draft for ages!]This one had me stumped for a bit. I approached at night by torchlight, and examined the obvious puzzle. I tried all the provided solutions; no dice. I tried all the solutions I could look up online; no dice. I examined the box from all angles, and manhandled it a bit, and checked no other panels had openings or accesses. Something didn't seem right, but I couldn't work out what it meant. I looked at the description again and scoured the internet for more possible answers and failed to find any. I did have to pause a few times in this process and turn off my torch as other cars pulled up near mine, facing my way - I didn't want to attract any attention!Annoyingly, I had even been at the event where the COs showed this cache off; but I don't remember seeing this one. Doh.After half an hour, I gave up, and messaged the COs for a hint. I assume they had a hearty laugh before telling me what I needed to know. It turned out one of my previous approaches had been right after all - I just hadn't taken it far enough! Ughhhhh.I was relieved to finally sign the log and head back to my car after this, even if I felt a little embarrassed about having to ask for help. I still really liked it though - and the cheeky nature of the solution - so it gets a Fav from me. TFTC!

Today I thought I'd head south west to pick up two more cache types I need for this month's Wheel of Challenges - a puzzle and a letterbox. Got both easily - makes a welcome change.
###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###
Onto my second target, and plenty of parking so long as I stay aware of the ruts...
Walked to GZ for the easy find. But how to open. Took a few goes before the penny dropped and I accessed the log.
Very cute.
Added my ink to the log and replaced as found. Then headed home before darkness descended.

Had a little laugh at this one, as I read some logs and realised it was not about numbers. Just had to be...gentle...TFTC. Fave point for this one.
We are on a short (three day) caching holiday in and around Camden, staying for two nights in a park cabin at the Poplar Tourist Park in Elderslie. Hoping to collect some previously solved Mystery/Puzzle caches, complete some Adventure Labs, and find as many different cache icon types as we can to go towards this month’s "Wheel of Challenges" souvenir chase. The homeward journey will be via Galston, where we have pre-booked tickets for the Sunday running of the Hornsby Model Engineers Galston Valley Model Railway. Photos will be uploaded to some (most) logs on our return to home base.
Today (day 1) we travelled out to Camden, going via the A3 Arterial and M5 Motorway, then took a short diversion along Bringelly Road for a Letterbox cache and a SideTracked cache, before following Camden Valley Way down to Camden. Stopped for some caches along Camden Valley Way, including a Virtual cache, before arriving at our accommodation in Elderslie. After checking in at the caravan park we drove into town and did a loop walk around the 2.3 kilometre Miss Llewella Davies Pioneer Walkway. This was the 1st of 22 finds for the day (day 1), and 1st find of the holiday.
Our first cache stop for the trip was at this Letterbox cache, and what a great cache to start off the holiday with, it's an excellent bit of construction. The camo was very familiar to us, having attended the CO's recent Maker Magic event in Camden, so we knew exactly what "postcode" was needed at this particular post box. Stamped the log with our letterbox geo-stamp, TNLN, then replaced everything exactly as it had been found. TFTC The Booos, it gets a Favourite point from us.

There are so many things to try and wrap your head around for this cache, until suddenly it was obvious all along!!!
TFTC.

Found during a quick break between work and hockey, which meant I saw searching in the dark with time pressure! Fortunately I had seen this container at the recent Maker Magic event and had already puzzled out its secrets, so it was a relatively quick find by torchlight this time. Of course an FP for the effort put into this hide and I look forward to seeing some of the others from the event in the wild. Took the TB that has been here a month. TFTC!
#7017- Out caching early with thomo31. Our first stop for the morning for this clever cache. Deserved a favourite point for sure. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman while out caching today. Another great cache design. Signed log and returned as found. Fav point. Thanks The Booos.
Luckily from me I had seen this cache container at the recent Camden event day, where The Boo's showed off some of their cache creations. Thanks for all the effort you guys put into your caches.

Joint [FTF] Today with Snoopy1976 @ 17:05. Saw this published last night and it was still unfound this morning, so I popped it on the watch list, when it was time to head home from work, it was still unfound. So met up with Snoopy and spotted the cache quickly. After retrieving the log book we were greeted with a blank log. Thanks
Thanks to The Booos for placing and maintaining this cache.
