Thanks TazScout for hiding this cache. Now that my calendar and streak are completed, I can just cache for the fun of it. Your Traditional cache, Pardalote Sanctuary, was just what I needed to get me out of the house and exercising. This is my find #1977 at 09:15 on 8/9/2024. FTF: Found with: Swampy Weather: fairMuggles: noneLight level: goodCache condition: goodDistance from GZ: Your cache was visited by my trackables: TB9QQD2, TB9KZ39 and TB7HH81
Finally SSR made himself useful and found a cache. As he pulled it out I said to him it looks like one of his! This was our last physical find today, we were fed up with the rain so went off to our usual lunch spot when down this way and did a few Adlabs in town on the way home. When are you coming home? Thanks TazScoutWith the weather so ordinary we could have just said 'stuff it' and not gone out, but being International Geocaching Day we knew we had to find something and ended up making a good day of it, despite calling ourselves mad on more than one occasions.Visit the [Geocaching Tasmania Facebook group](https://www.facebook.com/groups/318455407771/)Member of the [Tas_Community](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=25086739) maintenance group.
I have been saving this one for a bit now, I must have driven passed it a number of times since it was published, well today being International Geocaching day and this my last find of the day and takes me to a score of 100 for the current GC game Cosmic Quest.I found this one and it was my first find of the day as Goose had found the rest, I was also surprised by the container as it very much looked like my own handiwork?Cache is in great condition and well hidden, we added our names to the logbook and then replaced it as found. Someone has not long cut a tree down near GZ, all the wood had gone apart from one round that may have been too heavy for them to lift, the removal of the tree doesn't affect the excellent cache placement.Well what do you do on International Geocaching Day when it's persisting it down, you go Geocaching is what you do! so Goose and I drove and walked round getting wet for most of the day,but we did have fun (I think)I had planned on driving to Lilydale Falls for an event but the weather today was awful, so I stayed local.Found on 17/08/2024 at 12:47:00 thanks to TazScout for placing this cache for me to find. The best caches I have found so far are:-Sentimental [Moorgreen P3:1, Penny Pincher](http://coord.info/GC32Z5B) By [Sven&Cup](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=6596795)Traditional [Hanging Around in Toorak](http://coord.info/GC62KAP) By [bobthebuilder_123](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=586681)Multi [Gawler Fort Knox](https://coord.info/GC5T0W1) By [**JEM**](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=11449141)Unknown [Men In Black Holes](http://coord.info/GC1DVB0) By [SG-3](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=918045) Letterbox [Rolf's Letterbox](http://coord.info/GC5NCYM) By [membsec](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=5318842)Earthcache [Totem Pole](https://coord.info/GC862H8) By [The Hancock Clan](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=263428)Visit the [Geocaching Tasmania Facebook group](https://www.facebook.com/groups/318455407771/)Member of the [Tas_Community](http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?A=25086739) maintenance group.
Out of the state at the moment but have sent a message for someone to check in on it. Not a challenging find so likely needs replacing, will update when repaired.
Could be missing, I think I found the large place the cache would go and its empty.I enjoyed searching and learning about the habits boxes. Great work
Found it, thanks for the cache. I'm a cub leader from Canberra, so was keen to find this one.

Heute bei schnem Wetter die erste Cachrunde in dieser Gegend gemacht und nach etwas suchen auch diesen gefunden. Besten Dank frs legen und pflegen.
Really cool cache. Well done Scouts! We had a look at the nesting boxes, would be interesting to know who placed them there - really appreciate all the work put into this! Thanks for the cache and bringing this to the attention! Favourite point from me!
Great to read about the pterodactyls and see the nesting boxes. Also an excellent cache. Spotted a couple of ringtail possum dreys in the trees as well, exciting to see. Thanks TazScout
Today was a day of maintenance mainly, but I squeezed in a few finds while out and about. I think 4 finds for the day, 3 caches maintained and 1 new cache placed.Wow - what a large cache that I suspect were it was made Thanks for the cache
Another day of walks and collecting caches with a client today. Well hidden for such a big container! All in good nickTFTC
Lovely quiet area on a glorious spring day. Pity about the shocking name for the road!!. Locate the spot and amazed at the size of the cache but it has been well hidden. TFTC
Today Zozetta and I went caching at Tinderbox, starting the day at Blackmans Bay for an ftf on a EarthCache, then making our way down to Tinderbox, and then up to Howden. In total we had ten finds and no DNFs.I know this road quite well after a lot of visits to a nearby cache. We finally found that in June, but then a few days later this cache was published. Today we stopped off to have a look for it. Zozetta made a quick find of a good sized container. Thanks for the cache TazScout!
TFTC! Always happy to have a reason to visit this beaut spot (even if it is named Treatment Plant Rd!). Wonderful sunny day out, Im happy to be alive! Thanks
Hello TazScout thank you for the cacheToday I was in the area buying some tools so I called in to find your cache. It was an easy find just as it was getting dark.Found on Thursday, 21 September 2023 at 1830**TFTC**
After work, I needed to find a few caches and this was one of them. All of them took less than 5 minutes to find and were in good condition. Only one DNF where I spent too much time looking for, and setting off the local proximity alert, which wouldn't stop barking. Thanks for the cache today.
Great hiding spot to fit a large cache. Beautiful day with lots of tweeting birds. TFTC
Down south again to grab a wee bag of hides this one was 1st in line. Parked nearby and wandered over to GZ and spotted the hide straight away and signed the log at 11:24 on Monday 31 July 2023 and discovered the tb within.
The cache and contents are in A1 condition, in containers as good as these, maintenance is often rare
Unfortunately no Pardalotes were spotted but i was definitely hearing Currawongs.

Thanks for the cache TazScout.
I was keen to find a cache today, and thought this one would an interesting one to visit.
I pulled up close to GZ, and as soon as I opened the car door, I could hear heaps of birds in the trees - it was lovely to listen to as I searched for the cache.
A likely hide was spotted and soon after I was signing the log. Retrieved on of the tb's.
Enjoyed my visit here.

Nice easy find, apt camo for the nearby location, will be very surprised if this ever gets waterlogged

TFTC -
Saw this one published late last night but resisted the temptation to duck out ... besides, KingSmev had my car!
I was awake early, so eventually got up after waiting a while for daylight to start breaking thru (just).
Arrived at GZ, still needed a torch for searching and then found a very familiar looking container in an area that I know quite well.
Didn't need the torch for signing though, and I could see the log was still blank, so happy to accept the FTF.
Dropped 2 TBs.
The Scout group have done a great job with the nesting boxes around this area. I didn't see any pardalotes this morning, but I really wanted to say that I spotted forty.
Nice container! Well stocked too.
Thanks TazScout, for this caching experience.
Cheers, EPs.
