Suscoe was homeward bound today. We had an early start from Millicent and enjoyed a sunny day with mild temperatures as we travelled steadily eastward. The countryside was mostly light brown with a few green irrigated paddocks and forest here and there. We enjoyed finding some caches as we went along. Thanks to scramping for this cache.

quick find. while clearing out the back roads.Found with Mogni. I think this is the most changed trip in the planning stage that i have ever been on. The " original trip " was supposed to start on the 31st of dec but at the start of December life changed and the trip was now starting on the 26th of December and all accommodation that had booked cancelled and now see what else is free on the earlier dates. A major readjust of plans and got 1/2 the trip booked before the next curve ball came in to alter the plans again. More adjusting the plans again and i realized i could host 2 CITO's in 2 different LGA's in Victoria. What we do to qualify for Victorian challenge caches. Also i got my 20, 000 cache over in Victoria in this trip. It was decided in the end that the 4x4 was going to be the vehicle for this trip that way we could go and target all the caches that you never get, the ones down the sandy/rocky/dirt and forestry roads/tracks. We left Adelaide and headed to Casterton for a couple of days, then to Budj Bim National Park ( and saw 5 koalas in the camp ground high up in the trees ), then over Heywood, a night in Mount Gambier plus there attended the 3rd CITO of the trip before sending a few nights in Millicent and then finally home. Over 250 caches found plus 86 lab caches. Mogni also got her 11th D/T loop. I also got 3 more Victorian LGA's up to 20 finds minimum for another Victorian challenge cache. If the cache was broken/eaten/smashed it was replaced with a new container and if the log sheet was wet it was replaced and if the log was full or almost full extra log sheets were added to the cache.

As we headed back towards Penola from Millicent this afternoon, we stopped to look for this cache, the second of two along the Mount Burr Road. Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks scramping for the cache.

*FTF*
Today we were heading towards Beachport to attend an event and we happened to past this cache, now who can ignore a FTF, not I said the fly.
The co-ords are as near to perfect as they can be, this helped with a quick find of a well hidden cache while dogging the rain. We were surprised when we saw that this cache has been published for some days and had not been logged.
