On our Australian trip . After started for some days in Darwin we are on the road to Perth now .On the Road after Katherine we have seen Edith Falls, Kunnurra and Bungles Bungle. Finally we cross the Pentecost-river to enter the Gibb RiverRoad . A lot to see like Emma Falls, El Questro, Mitchel Falls, Manning Gorge, Galvans Gorge, Bell Gorge, Tunnel Creek and Windjana Gorge .Now return on the sealed road again . Further over Derby, Broome, Port Hedland, Karratha, Karijini NP, Exmouth and now down the coast to Perth .After Coral Bay we headed further on the road and stopped for this one .Always impressive the flooding. I remember when I walked around Australia and Carnarvon flooded the day I was supposed to leave. It was only a week after a Cat 3 cyclone has ripped through. The beginning of an horrendous fly plague between 2 cyclones. This town takes a battering. Even the day I walked into town I arrived with a huge dust storm.TFTC!

WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 95 - Carnarvon to Coral Bay via Minilya Road house. After a few days in Carnarvon, it was time to get moving again and I want to be in Coral bay for a dive trip tomorrow. I did the final caches in Carnarvon I had left for today and even managed one we could not access from the south yesterday. The drive was very busy and it was not trucks. The road was coated in a continual line of caravans and campers going both ways. Even after turning onto the peninsula road it was still busy. No winder there is no caravan accommodation left in the area. I stopped at one earth cache and then went and set up in Coral Bay. It is noticeably warmer here. I went to the pub for dinner, the parmi night special was irresistible. Scuba dive trip on Ningaloo reef tomorrow. With plenty of space to pull up, I got out of the car and started looking. There is some serious flood protection going on around here. It's hard to imagine the Gascoyne in flood as we look at it now. Tftc

Found this cache whilst on our two month adventure throughout central Australia and remote parts of WA.Drove out to have a look at the Gascoyne bridge and stopped by here as we returned to town. Found in the first spot I looked.Thanks to all the COs for adding to our adventure. TFTC

On our travels we found ourselves in Carnarvon and took the opportunity to grab a few caches, Thai was a quick find for geo hubby who was Jonny in the spot, thanks for placing it

Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia for four or five weeks. Camped out along Milinya-Exmouth Road before heading southward to spend most of the day around Carnarvon and on to our next campsite somewhere near Overlander Roadhouse, finding a few caches along the way. Thanks for the cache Team Red Roo!

Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. Last night we camped south of Coral Bay and this morning we continued traveling south towards Carnarvon and beyond.The cache was a quick find and was in good condition.Thanks Team Red Roo for the cache.

Heading home from this year's trip to Gnaraloo Station and after refuelling both the car and myself, I'm taking the opportunity to clear up a few more of the new hides that have appeared around town. The mighty Gascoyne was bone dry when I just crossed it... but it'll be a different picture altogether later in the year. GZ looked daunting when I pulled up, but the placement is generous and the cache easily found. All ok here today - TFTC

Arrived into town & have set up at one of the many caravan parks.
Today we found caches on the outskirts of the town . Visited a few of the fruit & vegetable stalls.
This is an amazing area to explore, we found a variety of caches.
