A lovely little adv lab and quick find at final. A little startled by container. Tftc and adv lab

3/4 family members did the mahi to get the co-ords for the final - then it was a whole family effort to get to GZ. GROSSED OUT a bit by the hide TFTC.

I enjoyed my visit here this morning. I went for a short walk over the causeway. Enjoyed the sunrise while doing the two Adlabs here. TFTC

Headed out for a day of caching to clear some of the caches off the map that had appeared since our last trip this way. Started in the right place which meant we didn't have far to travel to grab this bonus cache. A nice easy find in a busy place. tftc#6988

Out with Agazo on our last caching trip for the year. I solved this AdLab on the way to the cafe at the end of the road, where we had lunch. I then went for a walk to complete the second set. I then worked out the final to discover that I had the Bonus caches mixed up. Luckily Agazo already knew where this one was so I was able to redo my calculations and the short walk was made for an easy find. TFTC

Went out with CO on a maintenance run, Found cache but not on its proper place so fixed under instructions of CO

Oops Rookie error had a log on the wrong AdLab bonus. Sorted and this log should make more sense. Cache found nice and dry after lunch.Thanks.

I came up to do the ALs today. This final was right on the way. TFTC.

With the recent rain gardening options were limited which meant we could get in some caching. We had some challenges with the adventure - the app seemed to hang for long periods even though we had 4 bars of signal, and for one of the way points, the information needed is no longer there. A bit of logic however meant that we were able to make a good estimate of the final location. We found the cache on the ground out in the open - probably displaced after last weekend's strong winds. All in good order, signed log and replaced in the obvious location per the Hint, and covered to ensure it will remain in location. Thanks niteowlnz for the motivation for the walk.

Had a little trouble with the Adventure app but SJT_NZ had his working so we were able to get the final coords and grab the bonus. We also enjoy the Marahau area particularly at this time of year so with the overnight rain causing us to defer our gardening, property maintenance plans we headed over to do the loop. Parked at the far end and had a lovely wander collecting the information at the different locations. Thanks niteowlnz for a lovely afternoon activity.

I needed 5 caches today and one needed to be a mystery so did 4 of the labs and was able to find the bonus thanks to Nanzie completing the labs. I stayed back and let her make the find as it was her 5000th. I'll finish the last lab another day. Thanks for the labs and bonus niteowlnz

How can you ignore twin Ad Lab caches on a spring day in winter? Lots of people were about with the kids and enjoying this piece of paradise. We made a day of it including finding some extras to have a good tally. Thank you niteowlnz

Hazedarus suggested a day out somewhere and thought Marahau would be the ideal spot with two AdLabs and a couple of other caches for us to find.
It was a superb day with no wind and we were quite comfortable in T shirts, not like normal July weather at all.
We took the lazy way to do this AdLab and drove between the waypoints then walked to find this bonus.

Caching with Sidewaze and a FTF! at14:26. First there was the Lab Cache and then there was the bonus. Great! The day was a bit chilly, but there were plenty of people about walking the track. thanks for putting the cache out. TFTC

There were no particular plans for the day but when these caches were published and we of course noticed the adventure labs, that all changed. It seems odd to only think of visiting Marahau when there are caches involved but that's why geocaching is such a great hobby isn't it!
I particularly liked reading the history at the first waypoint. What an isolated place Marahau was until the new road was built over the hill. I also never tire of checking out the amazing Waharoa at the start of the track. Thanks so much for your part in a most enjoyable visit to Marahau today . Oh, and thanks for the FTF !
AND this cache earned me a souvenir for a 7 day streak .
