a long solved puzzle, on the way to bluff so had to find this one, a quick find, tftc
Heading through to Bluff today, and stopped here along the way to grab this cache. A nice quick find, but not sure what the squeaking was, TFTC
I'm down from Paihia for the Dunedin Mega event. We did a lot of caching around there between Friday and Sunday. Then on Monday we went down to Invercargill. The plan was 1 day coming down picking up puzzles as we headed south. Tuesday was doing the Big I and the penguin series. Fortunately we also had time to collect Cliften Swing Bridge and Monkey Island. Today is Curio Bay, Slope Point and Bluff as well as a few in Invercargill. Thursday was driving to Middlemarch for the old Donovan cache while collecting a lot of solved puzzles on the way and generally doing most of Middlemarch. Friday we headed up to Christchurch where I was going to spend the weekend with my cousin before flying home on Sunday. We had a great day today despite having to wait out a few showers. We had a pet lamb a few years ago. He was such a lovely fellow and got 3rd place at calf day for leading with my daughter. Come summer we felt he needed shearing so we just lay him down and out came the kitchen scissors. He didn't mind a bit. A quick find of the cache here. Thanks for your puzzle cache
A plan was hatched quite a while ago when the Dunedin Mega was announced to come over to the South Island again.I have only been to New Zealand twice before and I loved the South Island. So a chance to come back for a Mega was a no brainer for me.Everything was booked and I flew in last Saturday after a bit of a delay. So now in Invercargill for a couple of days and today so going to be a few caches and Ad Labs.So Day 12 started off with a bit of rain and a bitterly cold wind but a walk through the gardens will hopefully warm me up.After finishing off the gardens its time to spread out a bit and finish off some AdLabs and other ones as well.Well I love a nice piece of lamb but Im not sure if I would eat what I found at GZ though. Thanks Abbykitt TFTPC.
NZ_B and I are on a road trip to the Geo Toroa Mega and back. I'm also aiming for a multi every day, so it is now titled the "Mega Multi Road Trip." Today is Day 10 and it is Devine Day. We are off south of Dunners to find some forestry roads full of caches and the devine cache. Then on to Invercargill. This was a fun cache. Loved reading the logs and trying to work out what it was before we arrived. Thanks for the fun Abbykit. It's nice to have a trip where, alongside targeted caches, we also take time to find one's on a whim or ones that take a bit longer. We have all day and the caches are calling..
TFTC ; I found it by standing on it! I moved it closer to the fence in case it got caught in a mower.
#23428. I think this is the first time I have found a cache based on hearing something. At GZ there were two or three obvious places to search. I walked to the first as soon as I got there heard a strange sound. Initially I was puzzled as to where the sound came from but soon realized I had stepped on the cache. Brilliant! TFTC.
The weather forecast for today was not good, so StreetWalkerNZ and I were out and about at 8 am to take advantage of fine weather.SW walked towards GZ and he trod on something in the long grass that squawked! It turned out to be the cache. After we stopped laughing, we signed the log book. Thanks for the fun cache (is the dog missing his toy?)
Another mystery dot day bites the dust. Good reason despite poor weather to escape from Domestic Duties for a few mins. ************************************************************Why not visit Dunedin, NZ, Labour Weekend, October 2024 for: -GeoToroa - [GCA7ZHD](https://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GCA7ZHD_geo-toroa-dunedin-nz)See the website [geotoroa.co.nz ](https://www.geotoroa.co.nz)for more details. When we get 300+ Will Attends we will become the **Most Southerly MEGA event ever in the world**.************************************************************

I love sheep
Delicious roasted. Even better the next day when cold.
I recognize these sheepy faces!
Very familiar, indeed!
Wonder if we'll have any small black wooly ones this year?
We will see

Got one of those rainy ️ days. Had planned to do one of those obscure Otatara walks, but then the sun disappeared again, so using up a close p’n’g cache to keep the current challenge going. Thanks for the puzzle and the cache
Baaaah. I just wan'a be a sheep baah baah baah baah. Like that song.
I have had a bit to do with sheep, assisting shearing, tailing, burying. But not eating. One night after stooking we were tasked with rounding up sheep ready for shearing the following day. Putting them into the under floor area of barn to keep them dry. This silly sheep did not want to go where we wanted it to go, made a dash for freedom jumping up and over me hitting my shoulder knocking me down. Oh the excitement!!
So was with this frame of mind needing a cache daily for Gold this one poped up solved quickly and found quickly.
TFTS (Thanks for the sheep)

Cache 1459 [FTF] 9:12 16/7/23 I had set my alarm for 8:30 this morning as there was an event at 9:30, as I hit the buzzer on my phone I see the notification for a new mystery cache. Hmmm I wonder if it’s been gotten yet as it was published 30 mins ago and everyone will be up for the event. A quick look no finds yet so it was shuffle shuffle click click click and 20 mins later I jumped out of bed put some clothes on and hoped in the car. Still no log, quick look at the clock yeah I have the time and off to GZ. It was a quick hunt and a good laugh when I found it (which earns it a ). I have to say roast mutton sammies are my fave when it comes to the wooly variety. T4TP
