Wow what a wonderful cache lots & lots of work gone into this one, a credit to the C/O and a favourite point signed and replaced just before the strong winds and rain started up again thanks kbucky for the amazing cache
Found with gwd.aussie and Sharon14. Decision was made last night to head down to Leongatha for some caching and to particularly attempt this cache. Arrived at location to find a pantry full of ingredients but what ingredients did we need. With all ingredients finally to hand and working through the recipe (tweeking it here and there) we finally came up with a delicious Japanese favourite. Thanks kbucky
A day out with gwd.aussie and D@geo in Leongatha. Lucky, we had the tool in the car today and the app on the phone. This is one of the best caches we found in the long time. A Favorite point from me. Thanks for the Christmas cache in July kbucky
I didn't think we would solve this cache in one visit.I was expecting to go away and have a good think (and also paf). But with all three of us, find 3 of the parts. Two of us started to play with those, while one of us re-tested the other bits.Once we had all of the bits, (thanks for the holder). We keep getting results, but not the correct results. That was until one of the parts changed it's name for the second or ,,fifth? time, we got a yes on the checker.I was glad we didn't have to walk deeper into the wet undergrowth, to find the cache.Out caching with Sharon14 & [email protected] the best, and thanks for the puzzle and hide kbucky PS. not likely to be my favourite Japanese food, will have to wait until it visit japan to find out mine.

Today I decided to take a drive over the hills to Leongatha and surrounds to find a few caches that had been sitting on the unfound list for some time now, once the drizzle stopped it was a rather nice day out for checking out unexplored areas. This is one of the caches found today. I have only ever had Japanese once so I cant say I know much at all about the cuisine. Thankfully I do know how to use Google and the coordinates for GZ were soon aquired and the cache was soon in hand. Thanks kbucky for the cache.
The CO kindly guided me through this cache, especially the bit using Google translate. I certainly would have spent a lot longer nutting out the puzzle. A brilliant cache, well worth a favourite point. The track into the first waypoint was through a terrain about 2.5 or 3. Very uneven ground, muddy, narrow path with lots of blackberries and obstacles in to the first stage. The jeans got a bit more grotty climbing over the fallen tree trunks, but useful seat to work on the puzzle. The puzzle had several , quite complicated stages to work out the final coordinates. The final location was much easier to get into, but still required some bending and stretching to reach the wonderfully decorated cache very suitable for the theme of Cachemas.

cache moved to what I thought was a safer spot and upon checking again after move, found cache is currently being guarded by a snake. (9 Oct,2023) be careful now it's getting warmer.
New coords for final which will be revealed in checker. Previous gz being dug out by a very keen excavator!
Found, eventually. This one was a real adventure. First the car navigator sent me to the other end of the road to head in to the first waypoint, got to within 760 metres when I came to the road closed sign. Backtrack all the way around to the road that actually went in and made my way to near the waypoint. Then I had to work out where it was. In here? Maybe not. Over there? Still no. Got to within 2 metres but couldn't see anything so headed out and back around to where I thought it might be, still no luck and the device says back where I was before. Headed back and finally spotted it from a different angle. Then I opened the field puzzle. (We need to get the CO a hobby, she has too much time on her hands.) Spent ages finding what I needed, but had no luck with translating. Kept checking in case I had missed something, but no. I was being attacked by mosquitoes so wasn't very happy about that. Tried and tried and finally gave up and phoned the CO for assistance. She kindly gave me a hand and I was able to go and find the final.TFTC and the adventure.
This was a very well presented but very tricky cache. With all heads together we made some headway. Eventually we did need some help and we managed to get the checker to agree. We found the cache at GZ but noticed there were 3 large animal holes, we were glad no animals came out to see what we were up to. The cache container was really well themed, I loved the log.
On a caching adventure today with feathertop and micaparamedic.
Thanks for placing the cache kbucky. Happy Cachemas.

A tough tough cache. With Mclookers and micaparamedic. We had all the tools needed and online help. However we needed a paf to get over the line.
The final hide is a little vulnerable to sliding into oblivion but is fine still.
Liked the logbook too.
Thanks kbucky.....a real challenge...

Caching road trip with feathertop and McLookers today and tomorrow.
Arrived at the posted and soon had the large sized container located. Upon opening, our eyes bulged with the number of 'snowballs' confronting us. With all the needed tools at hand, it still took a while to locate all the needed snowballs. I frequently use translate but this beat all of us. A paf was still needed to shove us in the right direction. Now we have the checker giving us the thumbs up, we headed off to the final location. We found the well themed log book, but concerned that in the near future the container could disappear down one of the three burrowing animal holes that are there.
Thanks kbucky for placing this cache and adding to the game board.

A last minute plan had been hatched to make my way to QOGM. Very little planning had been done but a very rough outline was in place and it was going to be a day by day trip.
Starting today at Day 1. Leaving home via Phillip Island and out to Gippsland.
I think the grinch might have visited here! Working through all of those snow balls . I really need a new and more powerful TOTT.
I finally had narrowed down what I needed but the code words were not making sense. A slight nudge got me moving in the right direction and I soon had the tick I needed right as the sun set.
Off to GZ and fearful another TOTT might be needed in the dark, I was pleased to quickly find the cache and sign the log.
A unique field puzzle using a TOTT Id not used before, well certainly not in that way.
Merry Cachemas and thanks for participating!
Thanks kbucky for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy.

A beautiful day to explore Sth Gippsland with Geoturtle37, with various trails & caches along the way.
This was the first on our list, and I’d allocated around 5 mins. Well it took double that just to find the first waypoint! How on earth did we not see that??
Anyhoo, once we realised what we needed to do, I knew this was going to take way longer than 5 mins. We checked everything once, then again, then one more time, knowing we needed to keep trying.
Eventually, with both our backs starting to complain, we tried to figure out the next step with what we had. Lots of googling, and translating with my new (going to be very helpful in future) app. We tried all sorts of variants, and fearing we were adding to many crosses to the checker, resorted to a PAF, who kindly steered us in the right direction.
An hour after we began, we were signing the logbook.
Very clever unique multi, and a favourite point heading your way. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for bringing us here by placing this cache, kbucky

WOW! What can I say about this cache without giving anything away? Mmmm. Let's start at the beginning.
OHC and I had the chance to spend a day caching, so after swapping cars and with scooters loaded, we headed down this way.
OHC had found the time to put a list together of ones that she wanted to chase and I was more than happy for the opportunity to head out for the day with her as I wanted the same ones.
This was first on our list which is just as well as we may have run out of time had it been at the other end of the day.
We slipped and slid our way to the information gathering location. What is it called when you walk around 7/8 of an item and don't bother with the other 1/8.
Cacheblindness/also known as trying too hard. With our blindness remedied, we set about with the task at hand and boy oh boy, was it a task.
OK, there goes the itinerary.
We sorted and looked and peered and chased . . . oh yes, at least twice for all tasks listed.
Ok, there goes our backs. A new posture was adopted and we continued with the task at hand.
Eventually, some items of use were discovered and the real work began.
Still not wanting to give anything away, what we did next won't be shared but we will say that a PAF was needed.
OMG. It has been some time since I have been so pleased to see a "Congratulations".
We did what was necessary to get our names in the log, let out a huge sigh and set off for the next adventure. Here's hoping that it isn't as epic as this turned out to be or we will have only two caches for the day.
Thanks for the fun, the cache and eventually the smilie. A definite favourite.

This one was a journey and a half and such fun!! We booked a night away in Rhyll with our puppy Violet as a trial run for a longer trip at the end of this month. The idea was to zip up to this cache on the way to Rhyll and then arrive at our accommodation early to mid arvo! We arrived here and V was very happy to get out of the car to explore so whilst G retrieved WP1, I took her for a little wander. She found some blackberries!! Oh dear haha! I extracted her and we came back to where GMelb was emerging. We set ourselves up to working out WP1. First time around we got 4 answers!! So we tried again, this time G using something else to help (we’ll send you a photo) lol Meanwhile J had been working on the info we had and had come up with 2 bits of info. With the last piece in place we tried again but couldn’t get the middle word right, we had 3 diff possibilities depending on the angle. (In hind sight I think we had word 2 in word 1’s position) V was very patient during this and we took her on little walks to keep her interested. But with our mind in the info we needed, we looked around at one stage and she was gone out of sight!!! We called her and started searching and she appeared from up into he road!!! OMGoodness, what terrible pawrents we are!! Just like a toddler, she was so quick!!! Anyway we weren’t getting any joy with the geochecker so we contacted the CO and a previous finder and headed in to Leongatha for lunch. After lunch we hadn’t had a reply from either (fair enough, it’s a work day!) So we decided to head to Phillip Island. We were about half way there when we received a message from the Mr PAF, so we deliberated … do we go back to the cache or wait till the next day?? We decided to go back lol … So now having the correct combo we input it to the geochecker to get the co-ords….but wait, what? We got the “success” message but no co-ords!!! We contacted the PAF again and this time Mrs answered and was thankfully able to help us with the co-ords …. Very weird re the geo-checker. We set off to GZ and were quickly able to find the cache and log - Yey!! We set off again to Phillip Island and then discovered the CO had contacted us too so we were able to ring and let them know re the geochecker. They (and we) were very bemused!! They tried it themselves and discovered that yep it certainly wasn’t giving out the info any more and seemed to have reverted to the default position! So it has now been changed to Certitude and is working fine lol
So it was an adventure and we ended up checking into our accom at about 5.30pm lol
TFTC and fun kbucky - a FP from us!!

What can we say?
That was amazing… pulled in quite a few skills and geocaching tools.
Certainly something very unique and definitely left field for us.
So appropriate for Cachmus it’s a pity we are only {STF} and Cachmus is well over now and this wonderful cache still lays waiting to be found. The bar for special TDOC23 caches has been set very high here.
We loved it so much we are giving it a Favourite Point.

Amazing cache!!! Half of team Stammily headed out in the morning when we saw this published - it's been quite while between finds for us, but we couldn't pass up a Kbucky multi. Unfortunately we did not read the attributes carefully enough, so spent quite a while painstakingly documenting the wrong information. After a tiny tip from the CO, the other half of team Stammily headed back in the afternoon with the correct TOTT. It was still a complicated cache to solve, but absolutely ingenious in design and creativity! We have never come across another cache quite like this. Luckily for us the CO is super friendly and responsive, and happy to make the game fun, not impossible. What a brilliant multi, worthy of a favourite point
