Today we visited the area around Kingsgrove to look for some caches while taking a walk. We were lucky with the weather and it turned out to be a pleasant day of caching. All of them were easy to find and log. This lab cache was also played in advance and the bonus was received today. Thanks to all the owners for bringing them here and hiding them, and best wishes from the Moorhelmi's from Germany.

Can't quite remember when I found this but my name is in the log- a review of the map showed it still on there. I've done plenty of caches in and around the M5 now and the Adventure Lab associated with this one was great too. TFTC!

First for the day. It wasn't on my radar, but I stopped at Roselands for something and looked at the map and spotted the bonus for the work I had previously done. TFTC

My family and I headed down from Brisbane to Canberra to spend the Easter break visiting relatives living here. The lure of a Mega event in town at the same time was just a coincidence, honestly .After an enjoyable stay, yesterday I commenced the long drive home. For the last two days the news has been reporting an impending severe weather event with rain predicted of biblical proportions. I left Canberra in spitting rain, but it soon stopped and under overcast skies I continued caching my way up to Goulburn, making the most of the relatively good weather. Upon arrival in Goulburn the weather took a turn for the worst with rain beginning to fall again. Eventually it became too heavy to cache in comfortably so I jumped back in the car for the drive towards Sydney where I retired for the night to avoid the downpour. So glad I stopped rather than trying to keep on driving home through the deluge. Heading off this morning there was evidence of many flooded roads, with lots of standing water and partial road closures still in existence. This was the first cache of the day. Looks like GZ was inundated after last nights rain burst, with mud and debris around the cache hide, but the container and the log survived intact and and I added my name to the logbook. TFTC

Yay found it! Initially focused on something else with the same name as mentioned in the hint as I walked past to another one first, then when I came back / from the other side, I noticed something else and boom in past my favourite plant, a blueberry ash, straight to the hide. Thanks to my bright orange shirt the muggle seeing me on my way out did not seem to even bat an eyelid at me - totally unplanned but paid off. I really enjoyed this AL, I love the art and was stoked to have a reason to come back again. The faces are definitely my favourite.

Out for an early cycle. What a fantastic Ad Lab! Id seen these artworks in the past and happy to stop and learn some more on my cycle, even in the pre dawn low light. This is exactly what an ad Lab should be, fun, interesting and with a bonus, yay! Good hide too!! Thanks for placing this cache ziggiau #2136

Returning my brothers dog after pet-sitting for a few weeks, took alternate route to tick off the ALs bonus. Quick find as the rain started getting heavier and making the garden well weeds, wet and clingy.

Interestingly I did this M5 linear walkway several times during the Covid times. I found the artwork very interesting and took photos for my Covid project.
The photos included are from those walks as today was rather cloudy.

What brought me to the area?
Well my mother lived nearby as a child and often spoke of the Wolli Creek swimming spots and the walks after school with her father spotting Koalas in the bushland that was here.
Imagine that, Koalas here!
Wish they were still here.

It was quite a long walk so I drove between WPs but I ran into the same muggle at each spot. He was doing the entire walk, and more. So walk it or drive takes the same time.

I enjoyed the extra puzzle and calculated GZ and headed off, sort of in the direction of home.
Good co-ords and a clever hint made for a quick find.

Enjoyed doing the AL Series, but it was late at night, and I had to get fuel and head home. I'll come back for the Bonus Cache tomorrow.

Settle for 2TF, but should have grabbed FTF when I was here last night, while LSL (who had been at the same Event in Sutho) was scaling a pipe. Well done LSL to grab 2 FTFs in the dark. An FP for the AL Artworks and this Bonus Cache. TFTALs and TFTC ziggiau

Found with GeodogZelda and EverestHigh after completing the AL earlier.

This area was my stomping ground around 50 years ago as a young whipper-snapper. The M5 was just a dream, and those tunnels were dirt and grasslands. We used to ride our skateboards and bikes down the steep streets to cross the railway to call on mates who lived on the "other side of the tracks"!

I did enjoy the walk and drive along the M5 Linear Park. I had visited some of the structures, but it was good to check out some more. I particularly liked the one at "Wolli Creek". The story along the wall and the artwork on the ceiling. Have a FP just for that one!

Found It!
Came past here after tonight's event and after getting FTF on the other new cache I figured why not have a go at this one to! The road in here was rather busy tonight but the cache was a quick find once I got to GZ. And I got FTF at 10pm!
