Back up the Federal and Hume Highways for a few hours today to make a further dent in the Goulburn-region cache collection.A straightforward find here. All good with cache and log. Thanks, fitzy_1965!
A last minute decision early morning to head north again. A beautiful warm spring day with beautiful green views all around particularly while driving on the highway. Quick find. TFTC fitzy_1965!
Given, todays plans had been cancelled, I decided on having a look at what caches were available to find and discovered a CITO on over at Lake George (which is just north of Canberra). Well there you go, that is where Ill be heading today. I started the day off with Bfast at Yass Maccas. Afterwards, I headed off and tackled the next leg of the All7, Canberra Geocacher Power Trail. Then I had a number of options to decide on what to find next. After some consideration, I decided on finding the DSD caches along that road called Marked Tree Rd. This was a great choice because it ended up with a perfect timing for the arrival of the event. I pulled up at the event location at 11:28am which was two minutes before the official start of it. Like I said perfect timing. The event was great fun and lots of rubbish was collected up. It was also nice to have finally found the other caches there as well (2 ALs, a multi and a GCA trad). Once the event finished, I headed a little further south to get the new(ish) virtual cache and AL. Then it was time to head north again to Goulburn for lunch. I had a very nice lunch at Trappers. Then I headed off to find some more in the element series plus a couple of others that I was passing by. I also made one last quick find at about the halfway mark on the trip home. I ended the day with 2 DNFs and 46 finds . TB visit on all found caches. A big thanks to the CO for adding this cache to game for the Geocaching community to enjoy. TFTE & TFTCs!
Added this cache to the list while on the road with ilook4geo. It was a nice quick and easy find and both names were soon added to the log. We have found a lot of the table of elements series, but there are still a lot to go. Thanks for the cache placement go to my_name_jeff_1.
Found this cache while heading south with goingplaces2. No problem in locating it and the log was soon signed. TFTC.
Find # 1216924/5/2024 17:14On the way to the coast Caching adventures continue and trying to tick off as many on the solved pile as I can. Headed across to the coast for the long weekend to meet up with a few other CBR cachers. The main target is the SES series, having worked on these puzzles last year and gradually made the solves. Some with help and others straightforward. Either way it was an enjoyable series, generally. Now its time to collect. And of course with so many others to choose from in this area, its a busy weekend.Always shenanigans in a group as you never quite know what might happen but its guaranteed to be fun! The group consists of Joolay, KittyKatch, isopeda, minniek, fitzy_65, dty73, and Tankengine. All caches located, retrieved, signed, and replaced. Thanks my_name_jeff_1 for Copernicium
On our way to Shellharbour to do the SES series with friends, Contesta and I did a little detour to collect some caches. Ah, Nicolaus Copernicus - father of modern astronomy. I wonder why they named this after him. TFTC *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Goulburn our final day Our plan today was to cache within a radius of 10ks from the city.A nice way to visit the town & area is by following the geocaching trailThanks my_name_jeff_1 for hiding this cache.
Accompanied with 63ROOS, enjoyed trip to Penrith for run to series catch up and good weather.. We enjoyed and Laughing tks
A weekend of caching, labing, laughter, fun, and adventure with my great mates The Rats and Steeba. Just want I needed! A weekend like this is good for the soul.We headed from Wollongong to the Canberra Mega, via many caches and Labs along the way. We had a 48 hour early Easter window of opportunity that we needed to exploit! As always the banter was excellent, and the caching secondary to that. We found a lot of excellent caches, and this boiler plate log should not detract from them in any way.Thank you to all of the cache hiders, and the event committee.Cheers
Headed down to Canberra for the Capital GeoBash Mega Event with The Rats and Hoojar for plenty of various finds along the way and around the ACT.TFTC!
It wouldnt be Easter without spending some of it with my mates caching somewhere. This year its Mega mania in Canberra.Spent a couple of days buzzing around Canberra collecting finds and participating in the various mega activities. A big thanks to the organisers and the COs for the caches we found.TFTC
Reperio 20:59Today I headed down to Canberra to catch a flight to Adelaide for the upcoming mega event, and managed to pick up a few caches this afternoon along the way before finding somewhere to sleep for the night. This one was found after a short search at GZ. Gratias my_name_jeff_1As a well spent day brings happy sleep, a well spent life brings happy death - LDV

After a week at home, it was time for my first rip out of town. I had always been planning on this day being a Goulburn trip, and despite the change to the event I headed off to find a handful of caches and do a bit of cleaning up at the park. I managed to find a cache I overlooked on my first visit on my way to Goulburn and then get the caches I wanted around the outskirts, before joining up with another cacher for the CITO. There was some rubbish collected and then a chat before heading off to lunch and the drive home. This lid on this cache is broken. Thanks for the cache my_name_jeff_144638.3 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & Adventure Lab Tag A#455**Albida**
Went for a nice sunny drive to Goulburn to get some caches, visit a local friend and have the Soldiers Club's famous lamb cutlets. Found this one before heading to meet my friend. Gee, this location is very familiar! I was on this road finding caches in March 2023 on the day that my full time job application had essentially been accepted, what a really nice day! Quick park and grab again today, TFTC! NOTE: Cache has a hole in the top, needs replacing.
Out caching and picking up some more of the Periodic table hides.
The lid is broken but log is ok placed so that if it did rain it would be ok.
Thanks my_ name_jeff_1 for the hide.

Heading back on the highway to continue north, the GPS confirmed that Boxers Creek Road would be quicker than heading back into town!
I soon saw that there was a bunch of caches along this road, unfound! I had no intentions of picking up any more finds here, but decided it would be a bit silly to drive straight past them whilst on this country road!
Had no idea they were so new, infact I was the 2nd person to sign them all! Joshwa must have been here later in the day.
I remember caches being on this road for ages, so they must have been archived and republished. I don't think I ever found the old ones!
Thanks for this trail

[FTF] Found my first ftf by myself. Beautiful day, blue skies... thanks for the cache.
Found the cache container lid broken. Have placed the cache upside down to prevent water damage to log. May want to replace the container.
