Hovering over this side of town for another event tonight so I stopped here for a late lunch/ early dinner. Flipped the map open to see what cache/s were here and spotted this one. Wandered over to look for it and couldn't spot it even after circling the tree three times. As I was shifting angles I finally spotted it within easy reach where it wasn't meant to be.Signed the log and used the TOTT to place it out of reach of passing muggles. TFTC

This was a tricky spot and angle. I did some circles just to make sure I had the easiest approach I easily retrieved it and as I was grabbing it down the branch it was hooked onto broke off!! I signed the log and replaced it on another hook from the same angle, much easier. Ill msg CO. TFTC!

Although it was raining, I had a plan to collect a heap of caches on the way back from dropping MrTT at the EKKA. The rain did dampen my spirits and I did spend way too long on a multi that did even add up for the checksum in the end Sad I decided to head to this park for the EC so that I could gain a chunk of points for the Cosmic Quest. My Goodness, this cache was hard to spot, Hard to get to and down. Could only see it from one angle which wasn't the angle that showed the tree branch it was sitting on. It was raining and rain drops kept hitting my eyeballs. I am grateful that it was raining as it would be a very difficult cache to get down subtly on a popular park day. There was one man sitting on his laptop under the cover and he had his back to me. I don't think he even knew I was there for 10 mins.

Last time I was here I was not lucky enough to be able to eye this one. I am working on the July month challenge to find challenge caches so I was in the area collecting a local challenge caches and it was still early enough to have a crack at this one. Found the prize quickly and penned my name in the log and off to another nearby cache. A big thanks to the cache owner for making this cache available to be found.Cheers

Out again with T-Tech on a far less rainy day. This one was NOT a quick find and fish and sign. It certainly was a busy space at 2.25pm and despite our searching from every angle, and explaining to the family playing loud Bollywood music right nearby, and making use of photos in recent logs, we were unable to discover the container

Out with IolantheK this Good Friday collecting a few We spent a while looking for this one, explaining to a few people while we were craning our necks looking into a tree.In the end we gave up I think it could be missing I think tree fishing is a bit like getting to GZ where there is a fence where you then have to spot the cache which is another five meters away, oh and the fence is above your head (of my neck) TFTC RogerRamjett

Happy Leap year Day. It is 5am and I am chasing certain D/T combinations to help with completing another loop of my D/T grid. After driving down the hill from Toowoomba I started here. I knew where this cache was from a previous visit. With no one around I made a quick retrieval and return of the cache. Thanks for the cache.

23-Feb-24
Alyce and I have made plans to head out every Friday to grab a variety of caches. We are trying our best to clean out areas but caches keep sprouting up and we havent had the opportunity to keep up so thats why were in the area today. We had the place to ourselves which meant we didnt have to deal with any Muggles because this place gets rather busy at times. I had no issue locking eyes on the cache and was surprised our pole could reach it considering its a D5. It took us two attempts to bring it down and only one attempt to pop it back up. Pity we didnt have any spectators to cheers us on, I thought I did ok on this one.And with this cache found were officially done for the day. Not a bad effort I must say. Thanks for bringing us here.#4249 - TFTC

07-Feb-24
Oooooooh. I'm getting close now. Only one more cache to find to finish my first loop. Thanks to Chamad for the use of the pole.

Sometimes you time grabbing a cache to perfection and I can say that the timing was absolutely right today. Rain had been around all morning so no one was venturing out to parks so I took advantage and grabbed this cache. Only a handful of cars nearby but no one sitting around watching my activities. A normally very busy location for a cache. TFTC

22-Jan-24
I planned this one for this morning as it was the first day of school. Added to that a forecast of 37C and I suspected muggles would be few and far between. Arriving in the carpark at school drop off time, there was a single car parked there. Perfect. I parked right next to GZ and was thankful for the shade as I hunted for the cache before making my retrieval. After signing the log, replacement proved a little trickier but I got there in the end. Thanks RogerRamjett

Tree fishing is really going a little crazy with placements. This is so public. But oh well. Plenty of people watched, no one asking questions thankfully. Madrabbitoh spotted it. Only a little loop, so was difficult to replace. TFTC.

My official work year was finished...yay. Doesn't mean I'm not working, but does mean that I don't have to travel to Brendale for work, and some days I can just not think about work. Woohoo. We had our work Christmas Breakup lunch and I had a couple of hours to kill, so I drove to GZ on my way to a nearby appointment and found a couple of caches. Thankfully both of the Angling caches that I found were quite easy to locate and to fish for. There were a couple of people around, but the beauty of fishing caches is that it's fairly safe to say that even if they do pay you any attention, they won't be able to grab the cache. The small family of muggles nearby were busy doing family-things, while I was busy doing fishing-things. All's right with the world. Thanks, RogerRamjett, for the hide.

23-Nov-23
My last caching time before flying back to Melbourne later today. A mix of targets, mainly tree fishing or climbing, making use of the tree fishing pole I had borrowed for the trip.3rd smiley for the morning. This was definitely the busiest, but most of the nearby muggles were more interested in the possum at the toilet block than what I was up to.Reading the cache pageI was a little concerned height may be an issue, but fortunately my TOTTwas more than capable of reaching without needing to be fully extended. Retrieval was easy, but return was a little more difficult. TFTC.

After a lovely event day at the park, of course school holidays was in full force! It took a lot of convincing the minions that no they are not going to climb the tree to retrieve this one thanks for the lovely day at the park

Couldn't find it. We gave up

greencordial was stressedcordial here. The parking was a nightmare during this very busy first day of school holidays. Nice spot though, I know there must be more caches around, I will have to get back here some time.
Thank you RogerRamjett for placing this cache for me to enjoy!

Down in SEQ for a few days to celebrate the life of a caching ambassador and a great friend Karicka.

Back in BrisVegas to grab some rare DT targets today with BenM70 and greencordial.

Seems that the poles in SEQ must be shorter than those up North. Perhaps because of the cooler temps or maybe it’s just previous finders rehanging them lower than when initially placed. Either way we were happy to pick up the generous difficulty ratings.

The place was extremely busy today but with no fear of this getting muggled Ben put on a fishing clinic and I explained the game to the interested onlooker.

Thanks RogerRamjett for adding to my day.

16-Sep-23

The los trios, burgo, greencordial and myself went to pick out a few caches that took our fancy for one reason or another. This place was certainly a hive of activity
Parties seemed to be in full swing here, but even still no one is muggling this here. Brought it down placed it up and then told an arborist where to get one as he was convinced it would be great for setting his lines, something I’d already thought of doing.
Thanks RogerRamjett for placing this Traditional for my find # 4480

My times loitering with intent around this park has increased over the last year, bringing the grand daughter to wear herself out on the swings / rides. This incite allowed me to have a good idea when the park is busy or not. Weekends are just silliness personified and monday mornings had more Council employees hanging around than kids, at a ratio of 3 to 1.

Decided to time a visit when older kids would be dropped off at school / youth detention centres. All that I encountered were taxi and uber drivers waiting for who knows what, a fellow cacher, one set of kids making plenty of noise as they were hung from a swing-ey thing and a motor home taking up 6 parking spots.

So the coast was clear to try a bit of H-Angling. Grabbed the erection tool and made it to the tree without anyone really caring what I was up to. Grabbed the cache without any effort then released it back to where if was caught. Thanks RogerRamjett for another of this series collected.

Muggle65 had checked in on a cache of his and we were heading home. A quick map check showed that we would drive past a cache in a very popular area at a way less popular time. Thank you for a fun cache.

20-Aug-23
A cache in the dark, where I believe this one is much easier to find without the many kid muggle hang about.

Close for another loop for the green Geckos, and a sorted d/t for me

We are now heading north to avoid the coldest of the winter weather in Victoria. Loving our time around Brisbane and around the area. Today we had the opportunity to grab just a few while running chores.

Stopped off here and relised I needed my special TOTT. It was then an easy retrieval, with very few muggles about and surprising they didn't take any notice of me.

Thanks RogerRamjett for placing this cache and doing the maintenance, so we can enjoy finding it.

Accompanying chamad on his quest to complete 4 loops in one day, we rounded out the day on the northside. We had a couple of target caches here, and a few extras too.
A quick find here, after signing the log and replacing all as found, we moved on to the next one.
Thanks RogerRamjett for the cache.

13-Aug-23
What a day, I had been planning this day for a while to complete 4 loops in a day. I needed six caches to achieve my goal. Along with my personal challenges it was going to be a long and calculated day of caching. It is good I have a good friend and my caching buddy to help me along today. We also grabbed a few extra caches as we drove past.

The day started with a drive to Nambour where we got two caches. Then it was a drive back to Brisbane in time for an important, mega event at IKEA. Then it was off for a paddle in Logan before a drive to Redlands. From there we drove to the Northside to grab a few more caches and finish off on two caches in the area.

We had just collected another cache for my 19th loop, and this one was the next one on my list for today. We parked up and wondered over to GZ. There was so much going on here I was sure we were going to get asked what we were doing. Surprisingly, not one person even looked at us or even cared what we were doing, awesome. Down came the cache and our names were quickly in it. a pic was taken at site to mark that this was loop 20 and my fourth loop for the day. Phew I’m exhausted, thank you roger ramjett for another cache that I get to finish on you.

We had to return a second time, as during our first visit there were too many mugglers around.

We were again in this area for a paddling event. We found this cache and signed the log.

Early morning start for a day of caching with Peppa on the northside. I had no list of caches but Peppa managed to find some we both haven't found.

This was on the way to a targeted cache so decided to stop and have a go. With Peppa's TOTT we made our way to Gz where we managed to locate this cache in the tree. Have been here on a weekend and it is very busy, so glad to be here today but still people around. Just went for it. A quick catch and release.

Wow surprised this was placed here, this is a very popular spot with muggles around every day of the week, you'd need balls of brass to attempt on a weekend when it's outright chaotic. Lucky for me only a few muggles around on a weekday, still feels uncomfortable though.

Find #12835 @ 10:03
Thanks RogerRamjett for giving us a reason to visit.

On to some more alphabet angling, and this has to be one of the busiest parks to come to on a Sunday with so many muggles stopping to question what we were up to.
This one was very close to the main activity areas, but surprisingly, we didn't have as many muggles looking at us this time.
Another good retrieval and return by hatzofff with her pole, pleased to be watching for a change.

Thank you, RogerRamjett, for placing this cache for our benefit and enjoyment

After being away for a few days, I suggested to the family that we should visit Pine Rivers Park so baby Cottontail could have a play on the various playgrounds. This recently published geocache was just a bonus. It's probably my 4th-5th visit to this playground, but it was a first for [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T), and she was impressed by the equipment and facilities.

Upon our arrival, we thought we'd take care of the geocaching business first before play, so I brought my trusty fishing TOTT with me. It didn't take long to spot, and then [@jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) and baby Cottontail excused themselves to have a play nearby. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. I did note that there were only two names in the logbook from what I could see. Given it was such a public place, a few people did wander up and ask me what I was doing, and I told them it was a game that involved signing and retrieving a prize. I'm not exactly sure what they thought, but they seemed to accept my activity, and moved along. Thanks RogerRamjett for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.
Note that this geocache was logged with the *Team Warren* Davidwazza/[jesswrigley](http://coord.info/PRNW59T) stamp.
