Logs
Found an empty black container with the lid off and nothing inside not sure if rubbish or the cache had been disturbed.
Found it while on a walk with our border collie puppy. What a great day for it.
Found with Bindi the geo dog and AussieM&M!! This ticked all the boxes,,,, good sized container .... good coordinates... lovely spot!!! A favourite!!!
A lovely walk into this spot. Mary knew which section we were heading to, despite being GPS less today. Out and about with CP and Bindi the wonder pooch. It was a glorious walk in, despite some rather nasty humidity today. Aussie Mary once again made the find, while Bindi and CP took the high road. TFTC, and a favourite point for the lovely placement and walk to this cache. Pretty as a picture.
After completing the new AdLab in Williamstown I could see two reasons for venturing into an area I haven't been in for quite a while, Mount Crawford Forest. This was the second reason, parked not far away and soon spotted what had to be Lachlan's Rocks. Soon after had a cache in hand and was adding my stamp to the log but there was no sign of the recently added trackable [?]Thanks to geosheps for placing this cache on our playing field.Cache #14132 for me.This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Cant wait!!****
A trackable to go with Lachlan's Rocks - Lachlan's Dino ! Dropped yesterday on our camping trip to this area.
Lovely to see another traditional cache in this part of Mt Crawford forest. TFTC.An enjoyable (very) short walk. One time we parked here, we walked for about 6 hours!
After returning to the Mt. Crawford Forest just two days ago for a relatively new cache, Im back again today for this one. As I mentioned last time, its nice to be back - I made several trips here during the Covid period, but eventually ran out of caches and moved on to other areas. This one is a little deeper in the forest, but you can still drive to within about 400m of the cache. With it being a Friday, it looked like a few campers were arriving for the weekend, but all quiet at GZ apart from a few kangaroos. An easy find here, cache in good condition. Thanks for this hide geosheps, Lachlan in particular, nice spot, well picked!
Nice little distraction pops up in my inbox during the day...
still not logged by end of work, so off I go to the forest!
{FTF} @ 1800 after a little wander in the dark. Some roos watched on, but the campers stayed by their campfires!
Gets a fav from me for not being a mint tin and a fine location away from phone signals and civilisation in general - ahh the serenity Have camped here before many moons ago.
Thank you for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance geosheps .

Country, Coffee, Cats, Champagne, Chocolate, and Caching...
In a hazardous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid objects falling from trees
- - - a cache a day keeps the boredom away
--------
Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]
----------
Make sure that Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on
(Covid cancels caching! - Flu finished fun!))
Keep a safe distance - clean and cache the countryside
Special thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas,
in sensible safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun, and interesting
Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!!
[:o)]
The end. For now... ... until next time!

GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... be there or be backward!
29.2.24 It's gone MEGA !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And don't forget to put the June Long Weekend in your diary for 2024 too... it'll be out of this world

Seems like I'm not alone in the woods tonight...
Diverted here on way home from mid North.
As usual, any GZ in a pine forest is fraught with a dodgey GPSr relience! Quick find despite the above...
Took trackable to move along.
2nd in book, 1st online.

Thanks
