The annual Christmas decoration run to see whats available always presents an opportunity to grab a nearby cache. A nice easy one today.TFTC
What a nice little community areaThankful there were no cars or people around at all, did a 360 and made a quick grabTFTC
Nicely camouflaged. Looked at the structure in question a few too many times before realising. Not too difficult to extract after that. Thank you for the cache!
Looking in the wrong place to start but the hint soon had me at the right place. TFTC
Out and about doing some caching and AL while waiting for my car to be serviced nearby. Tricky little hide in the obvious spot. TFTC
Good easy hide to find. Bit fiddley to get out of its hidey hole.Had to be careful of Mr Muggle in his car doing what ever.TFTC k1000.
Hollylea Windmill is something I never expected to find in a busy area. Geocaching is great for taking you to unexpected places, thank you koolmoedee1000
In the area for a work meeting and managed to find the time to grab a couple of finds.Cheers
Silly me looked at the wrong object first but quickly had CIH after looking at the hint
Quick find between a historic house and another historic icon. OCW Brewmaker. TFTC koolmoedee1000
Fourth day of our Christmas to New Year 2023 holidays, and someone said it's Saturday already. As such, it's time to head South on the way to Yass.Stopped off in Campbelltown for a pit stop and thought it was funny that there was an Adventure Lab relating to Take Away food. Off that the one we were in wasn't mentioned or was an AL point.Grabbed this geocache while I'm the area. Took too long to find as I missed it on the first place, and no one else checked it. Huntress was just checking it again when I had a better look, and I found it.Thanks for the cache, kool moe dee 1000.Hunter
Another of those great "There's a cache nearby and I have time!" lightbulb moments. I mean, nearby = <2km and time = ~10min, but that'll do. Oh, and I was in fact in a lighting shop beforehand.I'd found the previous cache and so didn't pull up in quite the right location. But a quick walk took me to quiet spot and a cache made with good camouflage. It took a moment to retrieve and replace but I got there.A day with geocaching in it is always a better day. Sadly just the one cache today but it's still good.
#10068 (6 of 10 today - including 4 Adventure Labs)The weather is expected to deteriorate as the day goes on, so headed out mid morning to Leumeah and surrounds for some much needed calendar finds. I was hoping for seven physical finds, but the weather and a DNF put paid to that - got close, though. Did manage to sneak in an AL at the end as compensation, though.###END OF CUT AND PASTE SECTION###Quick find in an area I've made a find or two in the past. Took to the porch to complete signing duties out of the rain.Back for the replace and decided to try a nearby AL so I could stay dry-ish.SLTNLNTFTC###START OF ADVENTURE LAB SECTION###Did the *St Andrews Walk* AL. So I snaffled:#10069 - St Andrews Shopping Centre#10070 - St Andrews Public School (needed to google this as the required sign appears to have been removed)#10071 - St Andrews Community Hall (needed to peer through the locked glass doors)#10072 - Fastland Karting (needed to guess as the answer was nowhere to be seen)
5 minutes to find itAnother 5 to actually have it in my hands (digitally compromised)Thanks for this one
Took a little bit of looking but eventually found it after returning to the first place we looked. Logged as TBS12
On our way to Lismore to attend a funeral, a long drive. Stayed in Campbelltown last night. Up early this morning, and back on the road.Looked in the wrong spot at first, but once I looked a bit further afield the cache was quickly spotted. TFTC!
I remember finding a cache nearby whilst doing an AL around the eateries. Can't remember where it was, however, nothing the hint and a previous log it was soon CIH for this clever cache. TFTC
[Finally submitting some logs that have been in draft for ages!]I was passing through this part of Campbelltown and checked ahead for any caches to grab on my way through. I tapped into this one without taking note of the 'redux' in the title, and was delighted to see some recent finds! So I stopped in and checked all the places I'd failed to find the cache in before, and... still no cache. Puzzled, I tried to go back through the logs, only to realise the history was quite short - and that's when I realised this was a new cache, not the old one. Lol. So I changed tack to actually follow the GPS coords and very quickly had cache in hand. Thanks for the replacement cache, koolmoedee1000!
27 September 2023This is find number: 8811Streak Day: 2841Found Today with Snoopy1976, a quick and easy find for us today. ThanksThanks to koolmoedee1000 for placing and maintaining this cache. TFTC
Streak Day #3730 - Out this way with Dave8153 for our cache of the day. Quick find for us today. TFTC
Same location, different hide to a previous smiley achieved at/near GZ. Guess thats what redux means .
That was sneaky! Gotta think outside the box with all these hints! Wouldn't have thought to go straight there! We enjoyed all your hides! TFTCs!
I was here a couple of weeks ago doing an A/L, and gave this a shot back then, but muggle eyes prevented me from shedding any light on this one at the time. But this morning , post parkrun, I had the place to myself and was able to look more closely, and soon came across the sneaky hide. Signing the log was fun as the strong wind turned the log into a squirming squid! But soon had it under control and replaced. Nice one!
Holy moly did that one have us scratching our heads for a while. It’s camouflages so well
After expanding the search area away from the windmill, it took a phone-a-friend to make the find.
TFTC.

#7052-Out caching with thomo31. This one took a little while to spot- blended in well. Remember being here for an AL and another cache. Thanks
Found with WaywardWoman while caching in the area. Took some searching before WW finally spotted it.
Signed log and returned as found. TFTC

I remember the drama of our original cache here. The nano kept going missing until we finally decided to archive the cache.
Thanks koolmoedee1000 for placing this cache

Nice spot to blend in to surroundings. Had a little trouble getting it out of its hide but nevertheless a quick extraction. Helps if you have smaller fingers . Returning was easy enough . I recall there used to be cache years ago attached to the windmill which isn’t far from this cache . TFTC koolmoedee1000
Coords jumping around but found the sneaky hide soon enough - worried about dropping it! TFTC.
My sister and brother in law owned the Inn for a number of years. Good to see that it is in good repair and being put to good use.
Thanks for one more daily cache to add to the list.

Very accurate coords. Found in obvious location after a little search. Nice container and well placed. TFTC koolmoedee1000
Starting looking at GZ for the cache this morning but I felt muggle eyes on me so I went into my local shop. (Needle in a Haystack ).
A while later I looked out the window and saw someone at GZ and knew exactly what was happening.
Waited a bit longer and then went out and got CIH.
Log was stuck inside cache so it needed just a few taps to dislodge it. I replaced it back in the lid.

Coords bounced before a nicely hidden cache found, and extracted from its spot, carefull not to drop. Eventually found the right place to sign after untangling log.TFTC
Tftc. Saw this had been published last night and it was still unfound this morning . Contacted Mobsey and we ducked over for a joint FTF. Credit to Mobsey who made the sneaky find. So nice to have another local hide.
Joint FTF with Jaybeem at 8.50am. Got a call from Mrs Jaybeem to say new cache published last night & still not found so off we went. A search around GZ soon had CIH and we were pleased to see a blank log. TFTC??
Cool hide. Thanks for history lesson. We're glad this cache is now active again. Tftc
