No luck for me! There are many possibilities in the vicinity but couldnt seem to find it.
This was a cool area, and a few informal tracks that I wasnt expecting. I had trouble searching for the cache in anything obvious, and there felt like a few logical spots away from GZ like a classic large stump on the other side of the bike jumps track. I read a past log, and then I got lucky uncovering it, much to my relief. The cache container and logbook were in good shape. Thanks [GgToto](https://coord.info/PR14J8J6) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.----------This evening after assisting with the kids' bedtimes, I headed out to Redland Bay with the lure of a newly published geocache. There were concerns of impending rain, but despite taking a rain jacket, I hobbled around with just a light jumper as I jogged around the different park paths. A couple of hours were spent geocaching under torchlight, and as fatigue set in, it was time to return home to prepare for work the following day.
I was planning on heading to Coochiemudlo today. I havent been there since moving to Brisbane some 20 odd years ago. Well the parking was non existent and of all days I decided to come when the Brissie to the Bay bike event was on. So I decided to just sightsee and explore the walking tracks. In all I managed to pick up 7 caches before braving the traffic to head home. This was the first cache I attempted, but had no luck initially. It was on my return walk to my car that I took a second look and stumbled upon the cache by accident sitting out in the open. I have tucked it back into the closest feature and added a little came. Tftc. Took us about 5 mins. After reading the comments I ditched trying to find with the map and just wondered around. Great hide, definitely need the aeroguard for here. Log was a bit damp so couldnt sign
Went in circles for a bit until found. Looked at obvious spot but missed it. At the right angle you can see it. Thanks for the cache.
Looked at the obvious area first, but not the right spot, so we went around in circles for 20 minutes until Wuffcakes spotted it.
As we got to ground zero, the clue had us wandering all over the place. So many fallen trees - the possibility ofsnakes was on my mind!! After a considerable amount of time, Tricky T managed to locate the cache. Amazing!! Thanks GgToto.
Well this one had Swampybee and myself scratching our heads for quite a while. So many fallen trees with GPS taking us back and forth. I searched what I thought was a good spot twice before spotting the sneaky hide. Coordinates are a little off but the GZ is obvious in hindsight. Thanks Gg Toto
With NobbysNuts and the 4 of us could not locate the cache. I think I had a DNF on the previous cache in this location as well/
Tried for ages, got bitten badly by midges, lots of fallen logs, new and old. Couldnt find it :/
A nice walk in a familiar area. Thanks for the placement, smiley and interesting insight. A nice hide that is easy to overlook.
Took some searching to find this simple but quite clever hide. Thanks for the cache and
Had a spare afternoon and decided to get a few caches to earn the solstice souvenir. Dodging the showers of rain. Have had to go to the other end and work our way back as the walking path is closed until about 3pm! whilst they work on the sea wall!!Thanks Gg Toto for the cache.
Met up with grannysmith1947 to do this trail of caches in such picturesque locations. It was a very enjoyable day.Thank you, GgToto, for placing these neat hides in this lovely booming suburb, and of course, they were a real pleasure to find.
TFTC smile 17194 out and about on a lovely day Signed as GS1947 on small logs Thank you GgToto for placing this cache for my enjoyment
Found with the Munna Culla Snack Ninjas now we are all back to have Friday's off together. Pretty impressive bridge for the suburbs, looks perfect for a giant.Cache found, hopefully brunch is next.
Out for a Friday with the crew Peppa, PirateLinda and giraffe18. Apparently PirateLinda need something for her loop! So all about that today. Reasonably quick find a little out. Tftf
The Munna Culla Snack Ninjas are back!!!All these new caches are way to tempting to leave unfound and PirateLinda has finally discovered the D/T grid and being just 2 short of her first loop there is a cache today that helps her get one step closerI recall a previous cache here and despite a very bouncy GPS, the cache was soon located. Thanks GgToto
Out and about with Munna Culla Snack Ninjas Fairly quick find from Peppa. 2nd time around and log signed and back in the car. TFTC
Keeping my 28 day streak alive in the hope of getting my 3rd Wheel of Challenges souvenir in another 8 or 9 days. It was Pyjama Day at School today so after I finished work I checked my emails and see a new cache so headed off wearing my Pyjamas.
Arrived at a place I could park safely and headed off on foot for the last 60 or 70 mtrs. I recall finding a cache here a long time ago. I could see the cache on approach and when I opened the log it was a clean, unsigned one. Left my signature and replaced all as found. TFTC
