WA Big Trip Winter 2024. Day 95 - Carnarvon to Coral Bay via Minilya Road house. After a few days in Carnarvon, it was time to get moving again and I want to be in Coral bay for a dive trip tomorrow. I did the final caches in Carnarvon I had left for today and even managed one we could not access from the south yesterday. The drive was very busy and it was not trucks. The road was coated in a continual line of caravans and campers going both ways. Even after turning onto the peninsula road it was still busy. No winder there is no caravan accommodation left in the area. I stopped at one earth cache and then went and set up in Coral Bay. It is noticeably warmer here. I went to the pub for dinner, the parmi night special was irresistible. Scuba dive trip on Ningaloo reef tomorrow. In amongst all the interesting information, I was able to locate this cache before and other tourists came in for a look. Thanks for the cache SKMADV48703.1 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & 2018 Oct Halloween Spooktacular A#387**Albida**
Garden maintenance going on when we drive passed, went up to do another cache and thankfully, all clear on our return. Found in the first place we looked, which is always a bonus. Tftc
This was a quick drive-by after visiting the fabulous Space Museum. Nice little hide, thankyou.
Early morning stroll from our caravan park and a quick find thanks to the cute hint. All well here. Loved it. Fave. Tftc
Found this cache whilst on our two month adventure throughout central Australia and remote parts of WA.Heading south we grabbed a couple of caches before heading out of town. Took a few minutes to spot. Thanks to all the COs for adding to our adventure. TFTC
On our travels we found ourselves in Carnarvon and took the opportunity to grab a few caches, this was a clever hide in a nice spot to test, thanks for placing it
Great hint! Nice quick find, a poke and a cache soon signed on this lovely sunny day. Carnarvon is a really nice town expecially around the coastal areas, lots of museums and points of interest too. Quite peaceful and scenic. Great to explore a bit this morning with the AL's and some caches before heading back to Hitch up and get back on the road again.
A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT then over the top of WA to Perth.Interesting detours to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Hells Gate, Nhulunbuy, Wadeye, Litchfield Nat Park, Wyndham and the Gibb River Road.TFTC.Nice quick drive by.
Found with e.gregory1 on a trip from Adelaide to north-western Western Australia for four or five weeks. Camped out along Milinya-Exmouth Road before heading southward to spend most of the day around Carnarvon and on to our next campsite somewhere near Overlander Roadhouse, finding a few caches along the way. Thanks for the cache SKMADV!
Found on a trip to Western Australia from Adelaide with FeatherWaite. Last night we camped south of Coral Bay and this morning we continued traveling south towards Carnarvon and beyond. The cache was a quick find and was in good condition. Thanks SKMADV for the cache.
Found 08:53Three months of travelling in Western Australia with Muggle friends from the East coast; stopover in Singapore on the outward and return flights. Caches and labs where they are on the way and can be done without too much effort. You may forgive me for using the same standard phrase everywhere, but there's not much more to it than that. Many thanks to all the owners for making our hobby possible. If there is anything wrong with the cache, more detailed information follows.
Such a great information area we would have skipped without this cache. Visiting from US-MN with my daughter from Canberra and excited to explore your town for the day before heading to exmouth!
Camping trip to Gnaraloo Station Today's drive was from Gero to Carnarvon, and with no caches left to be found along that remote leg of the journey it was great to reach Carnarvon and pick up the new caches placed here since my last visit. Info bay was empty when I pulled in so could stop right next to GZ for an easy cache & dash Liked the 6701 design. All ok here today - TFTC
Back on holidays chasing the sun, travelling around and collecting a few caches on our way. Found your cache easily and it was in good condition. Thanks for adding to the enjoyment of holiday.
A quick easy find on an evenings walk. Unable to sign the logbook as my pen decided not to work. TFTC.
Out for a road trip up north to try out our new camper and grabing a couple of caches on the way.
Out for a morning run from the caravan park. I arrived at this one and there was a traveller parked right next to it so I continued on to grab the adventure one at the earthstation and when I came back it was all clear so I made a quick grab.
