Not sure on the exact date we found this on - only just realised that we never logged it! A nice bike ride for Sis and Bro to ride down here and grab it though, and a wonderful addition to the thriving Geocaching culture Ros Common seems to be cultivating ?? Be careful - we did see a snake dart off into the bushes as we whizzed past. Thanks Edgah 12 for the hide!

A quick find and an enjoyable walk this morning with Delloro. Surprised to see a couple of bandicoots in the area, and it was funny that neither of them ran away to start with. Perhaps freezing when threatened is characteristic of them, I don't know? It allowed us to take some photos easily though! TFTC!Cheers,The Hancock Clan

After only being found a couple of days ago, and with pictures showing the container is a decent size, and with an orange lid for goodness sake (!) I can't believe I couldn't find it I must have searched for at least half an hour, turning over anything on the ground within a good 4m range of GZ. I then looked further out, but still to no avail I wonder if it has been muggled? I will keep checking back to see if there are further findsTFTC regardless

Today we combined Orienteering and Geocaching. Started early and picked up a series of caches on the way to Orienteering and then once course was completed set off to do our final 3 unfound caches in the area. Turned out to be a really good day. This was a straightforward find and a way to get the body moving slowly for the day. Pleasant and sheltered area out of the strong wind.TFTC

Today Zozetta and I went caching at South Arm, beginning the day at Opossum Bay, then going down to the South Arm and stopping off at Lauderdale for one more cache on the way home as well. It was very windy today on the peninsula, and cold as well, but Zozetta was able to get sixteen finds, and I had fourteen. Nine traditionals, three multis, two mysteries and no DNFs made up the days finds for me.

This cache was published the day after we had been caching in Lauderdale, which was a bit annoying, as that’s happened to us quite a few times recently. Today while on the way back from South Arm, we stopped here to find this cache. At GZ it was a quick find.

Thanks for the cache Edgah_12, a good first hide!

This was this published as I was finishing my coffee. The egg needs to exercise after her operation so we decided that we could have a nice walk around Roscommon and find the cache as the same time.
We spent about 20 minutes looking, widening our search slowly as we struggled to find the container. Eventually I moved the right thing and there it was about 16m away, giving us {*FTF*} at 10.33am.
After replacing it, we wandered off on our walk doing a nice lap past three other caches that we've previously found. As we completed out loop, Mrs WW called and we met up and walked to together back to the cache (as we were parked past it). She had her GPS so will add some coordinates.
Thanks Edgah_12, congrats on your first hide Smile
We went and had a coffee together at TCM

Heading into town Mrs W stopped to locate this new cache. As she was parking a notification came through that the cache had been found. Mrs W was lucky enough to catch up with gooseandegg as they were returning to their car. We all stopped at GZ and Mrs W located the cache. Coords were out by 16 m and cache was located at S42 54.202 E147 29.265. Well done on your first hide in the lovely Roscommon wetlands. Now off for a coffee and a chat. TFTC

Thank you for the cache Edgah_12, and congratulations on your first hide.
The lovely winter weather continued today, so the GeoGSP's and I decided to go for a short walk at lunch to see if we could find this GZ.
Thanks to whitewebbs for the coords provided in their log.
The GeoGSP's and I have been to this area quite a few times in the last few weeks, it is a nice place to visit in winter.

tassietan and I were out together on other business. On the way back to South Arm I suggested going to the The Path to Madness series..she has yet to try them. No need to ask twice! On the way there she noticed a newly published cache in the area...brilliant...2 for the price of 1!
We went to Madness 1 first, and tassietan got a feel for these excellent caches.
Being a bit time strapped we headed to this newly published cache. Luckily WW posted their find as we were in the process of searching. Thanks WWs for the updated coords...I am truly in awe of your perservance in locating a cache 16m away!
Thanks for your first cache Edgah 12.

Had a rare town visit with one half of The Roadies today so we decided to stop by this cache on the way home. This is what we like about caching …. it takes us to places we haven’t been before and Rosecommon Reserve is an excellent example. What a lovely spot hidden away behind Lauderdale. There are a few interesting features as you walk along the path … a peg gate, some plaques under the seat. We did admire the FTF and 2TF for actually finding the cache as we doubt we would have made the find without the updated coords. Thanks Edgar-12 for your first cache placement.

TFTC - I wanted a cache find today, so came here after a HWC walk from Kingston Beach to Hinsby Beach and return.
So I only did a quick walk in to GZ and back out - although it was a glorious day for exploring this common.
Searched for a while before reading some earlier logs and then used the coordinates supplied by whitewebbs below, for a quick find - with some semi-muggle scouting acquaintances that I met on the way in.

Thanks Edgah_12, for this caching experience.
Cheers, EPs.
