After the last tree climb, I was expecting something with a similar challenge, but this one was quite a bit easier! Some days you just have a bit of luck. We signed the log and then checked to see if we qualify, and we do. So after finding this container on Monster Lane earlier in the month and tracking down where it belonged we then decided to check if we qualify. Nope! So I got busy over the last couple of weeks targeting the specific caches I needed.Yesterday I got my last one but had to wait for the checker to register the find.[FastEd 59](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=FastEd%2059) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCABYXK/79720 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.Challenge matrix (30 of 70 yes-attributes) has 30 of requested 30 rows - checked at 2024-10-25 2:37:10**FastEd 59** fulfills this challenge since **2024-10-24** by found of GCAHVTQ "Cattle Run"The last relevant found to add a cell in this matrix is GCAHVTQ "Cattle Run" at 2024-10-24Really enjoyed the challenge.TFTH
well here is a story ... finder on the lane found a container as they were climbing back out of number 5 Mara (and the mud)message to let me knowonce i have the log i realise this is not a throw up some investigating using dates on the physical log and i have it narrowed down to two nearby that seem to get found a lot together ... but ... there is one definite difference in the namesnow i know exactly what cache this belongs toco has been informed and sent photos of where cache was found and returnedreally really really wonder how you got to Mara[barbbowman](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=barbbowman) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCABYXK/79720 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.Challenge matrix (30 of 70 yes-attributes) has 30 of requested 30 rows - checked at 2024-10-09 10:25:26**barbbowman** fulfills this challenge since **2024-10-08** by found of GC94FT8 "Drum Beat #57"The last relevant found to add a cell in this matrix is GC94FT8 "Drum Beat #57" at 2024-10-08
Thankfully another cacher brought this container to our attention as it was close to one of barbbowman's caches. So yesterday we were out doing maintenance on Monster Lane. This container had been left near Number 5 - Mara. After some investigation and checking photos on the page and other logs that matched, we deducted that the container belonged to this cache.Reading other logs, that it was no longer a climb and had been placed in the fork of the tree, that's where we returned it to. Of course, our names are now in the log. Barb, I think qualifies and I will be working on the last three over the rest of this month.TFTH

Happy to say that i have qualified for this cache for some time and even came out this way to find that the tree climb was just too high for me to attempt by myself. So i was having a look at this cache again and noted it is no longer a tree climb. So it was on my bike i went and at GZ i soon had the cache in hand. What a great day to be a geocacher. I planned a day trip from Toowoomba to find a few selected caches only and go to an event. A couple of the caches filled in D/T grid spots, others were because I completed the challenge cache criteria, or a unique cache like this one. I parked the car a block or two away and made a casual walk over to GZ. I arrived here at about 8:15am and no one was around. Quickly spotted the cache, signed the log book and returned the cache quick smart. Thanks for the cache.
Easy peasy. Unfortunately this cache isnt tethered any more. We found it in a low fork (reachable from the ground), signed the log and placed it back where found. Happy to have our name in the log. Out chasing a few challenge caches for the July challenge. As has been noted before this one isnt exactly where it should be. Found easily and left my mark, then popped it back where it had come from. Thanks for the challenge cache georode Nyssaflutterby fulfils challenge Monthly Calendar Challenge - 30 Attributes (GCABYXK), according to https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCABYXK/79720
Today I headed up north to sign some challenge caches that I had been saving up for July. I knew this one had fallen down and it was quickly found where it had been placed in the branches of the tree. I didn't feel too guilty signing it, though, as there have been plenty of tree climbs done in the process of qualifying for this cache. I started working towards this challenge at the start of the year and it has basically guided my caching for the last 6 months. I was determined to finish it off by July so that I could sign it as one of my 20 July caches. I have now completely cleared my local area of some of the attributes and some days I was driving a long way to chase down the ones that I still needed. It became a challenge to visit areas where I could maximise the number of required attributes with the least number of caches. The hardest attributes for me to find turned out to be tree climbs, telephones, motorbikes and wading. On the last day I still needed 3 more attributes and I was really happy to finish the challenge off with a single cache that had all the attributes that I needed. Thanks for the challenge georode! Although I am now totally sick of being under the rule of the attribute table, this has been my favourite challenge yet and it certainly changed the way I geogache.[Brissy Cat](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=Brissy%20Cat) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCABYXK/79720 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.Challenge matrix (30 of 70 yes-attributes) has 30 of requested 30 rows - checked at 2024-07-18 14:24:30**Brissy Cat** fulfills this challenge since **2024-06-16** by found of GC8VXD3 "Electrical Madness"
Out this morning with Kolour signing some challenge caches. After a bit of a recon, I decided to grab the TOTT to help me up. I climbed one rung and had my hand on the cache. Thanks georode for the challenging challenge!
The plan for today with Willis007 was to sign challenge caches on the north side. Preparing to climb the tree, Willis007 found the cache in the fork of the tree as the wire has broken through. Replaced where found after signing.
Back when I was the last time in Brisbane and attended a local event I had heard the rumour that such Attribute based caches might drop soon. Once they did, it was great fun working towards them. For this one I qualify now, and so I made my way down to this cache tonight. A bit of a tricky climb late at night with everything wet from todays rain but I still managed to get to the cache. This also counts towards one of my upcoming matrix loops. This one I worth a fav point for the challenge concept.GC_Diver has 30 of requested 30 rows, GC_Diver fulfills this challenge, checked at 2024-01-03 6:12:58Once again I find myself in Brisbane for a business trip. This of course means that once all meetings are over the hunt for caches can begin! Though, this also means that all caching adventures will have to be done at night, which generally doesnt make things easier. I am mostly focusing on challenge caches this time around, as it is great to finally collect the fruits of the hard work after qualifying for them.georode, thanks for placing the Micro sized 4.5/4.5 geocache Monthly Calendar Challenge - 30 Attributes.
I intended to go kayaking today but events caused a change of plans. Instead, I headed for this one since the D/T is needed for the Busy Saturday Challenge.I noted that others needed a boost into the tree and scoffed as I approached, but soon stopped scoffing when I had 2 unsuccessful and painful attempts to get up and in!Third time lucky and I headed up. I couldnt see the cache for a while but I knew it would be there somewhere.Walking the plank to the cache was interesting and I was happy I didnt drop anything.TFTC where all is fine. The initial step is the tricky part here. After getting up, it was an easy climb from there. Nice challenge!
JDavs and I have come down to Brisbane for a day of targeted caching, picking up stuff Ive been wanting to get for a while but havent yet had a chance. After signing the other 2 challenges we made our way to this one. JDavs gave me a boost to get into the tree and then it was an enjoyable climb up that wasnt as daunting as what it looked from the ground. I unhooked the cache to sign the log and then replaced it as it was. JDavs helped guide the way down and it was on to the next target. I will have to check to see if I qualify. Thanks georode
Today was going to be a hot day. I slept in (as you only can do when on holidays) and decided against a walk in the heat, but opted for a slow swim at the Sandgate pool. After 40 laps in the pool, I checked out the nearby caches and spotted a few local challenges which had sprung up since my last visit this way. Perfect.Last time I checked I hadn't qualified for this, but some recent caching seems to have inadvertently corrected that - no even planned! All found in good order and replaced as found. Many thanks georode Pete#7,550

When visiting Brisbane last for Rickards funeral, I caught up with Burgo78 and greencordial to pick off a number of caches that went towards either Marks or my next loop as well as other interesting challenges. This was certainly one on that list of targets. Of the three Attribute challenges I had only qualified for the 20 completed days and had a small number of attributes that required me to pick off one or two days for them A working trip to Mackay saw me pick up a tree fishing cache which cleared the special tool and then yesterday I took the boat out on the Bohle river to grab the a cache with a boating attribute so after running the checker this morning it gave me the green tick of approval and the 15th signed qualifier. Ive got a fair way to got for the 15 no attributes but will work my way towards that. Hopefully not forgoing too many FTFs to do so. The checker output was also very well done. Those guys pride themselves on getting the checkers looking smart. Thanks georode for placing this challenge for our geocaching enjoyment. Output as below. I needed to head to this area this morning for an errand, and I decided to extend my commute with a visit to this park and newly published challenge cache. I had no TOTTs with me, so I had hoped that this high-terrain challenge could be reached with just my skillset alone. This morning, I had the area to myself, and given the dead-end street branch, it felt like this small reserve was only really used by locals. Until recently, of course!
I pulled myself up, and I wondered how many others were able to complete this without TOTT - perhaps just a handful? A fun and enjoyable tree climb as I looked upwards and soon spotted my target. Upon reaching the cache, I added my name to the logbook, and I did chuckle at how many people were signing their name without adding a date. I will acknowledge that the date is not strictly required as per the Geocaching Guidelines, but it is a nice practice as I always think it is interesting to see how recently the geocache was found. A certain challenge challenge may indeed discourage documenting the found date (or otherwise the challenge will be checked another day). Nevertheless, the cache container and logbook were in good shape. I do love these challenge types that add another variation to the statistics of geocaching combined with the days of the month, that may see experienced Geocachers targeting their finds (it looks like I was just lucky with these). Thanks [georode](http://coord.info/PR2V198) for the cache placement and ongoing maintenance.

A couple of weeks ago I was out caching with Karicka and Peppa and they sent me up a couple of trees to sign some challenges. This was one of them and I have now checked and found that I qualify. Thanks for the challenge georode
I qualify for this beaut Challenge, however, it's way too high, and I don't want to go out on a limb only to fall off my perch.
Thanks for placing georode

#7276Day 1 of MegaGOM boating and tree fishing expedition with **bella at waggy**, **Baktrak**, **Purplepeopleater** and an anonymous local.Raced from the airport to meet up with the local captain and tour guide. He had already launched the MV GRUMPY so all we had to do was get in and enjoy the ride. Actually, there was a bit more involved and by the end or our trip we were well acquainted with mud, trees, yaks and the inner workings of an outboard motor.[crash2079](https://www.geocaching.com/profile/?u=crash2079) has used [Project-GC](https://project-gc.com/Challenges/GCABYXK/79720 "Project-GC Challenge Checker") to see if they qualified for this challenge and they did.Matrix 31 (30 of 70 yes-attributes) has 36 of requested 30 rows, **crash2079** fulfills this challenge, checked at 2023-08-25 9:04:33The last relevant found to add a cell in this matrix is GCA8QNA "Weigh a Pie" at 2023-08-20TFTC georode
Came to sunny Qld with a few geopals and met up with a colourful local for 3 days of water ports, tree fishing and a variety of other cache-finding pursuits. Day 1 saw the relaunch of MV Grumpy and a couple of yaks to keep it company. Much puzzle-solving and crosschecking preceded the trip to exercise mind as well as body. Logs signed with the space-saving enigmatic anagram “megagom”, in memory of previous exploits. Thanks georode,

Out caching with Peppa and BM75, really we went looking a JP and an office works, but the winding roads took us to a whole lot of other places instead
Thank you for this challenge

With the promise of a trip to Officeworks, I got Karicka in the car… Beardman75 came along as arm candy after ensuring he had the appropriate footwear on…
No chance to take Renaldo off-road which was a little disappointing… but having BM75 throw his sunglasses at us helped me get over it…
I’ll check my status with this challenge later… once I’ve gotten Karicka to a JP…
Thanks georode

With the current HQ challenge completed, I can now concentrate on my own personal challenges. I had finished work early and was feeling the need for a bike ride. I headed over to Oxley way, as there was a particular cache that was and had been on my list of to do’s for a while. I had finished that and put the bike back on the car. I then saw a puzzle cache not far away that I could grab. Next up was a brand new cache. Happy with the day, I started to head back home, thinking of what I will have for dinner.
Then the ding of new caches hits, oh look a few challenge caches as well. With a new plan, I started to head that way. I knew I would not get FTF on any as I was so far away but no problem, I already had one for today on my grid.
Of the three this was my last stop. It was pitch black at gz and I spent some time searching the tree to find where the cache was hidden. Finally I bit the bullet and just climbed hoping I would be in the right area. Lucky I found it on the way up so a slight adjustment and I was at the cache. I opened it up and saw I was the second team to be here, yah.
I signed the log and returned the cache as found, thanks for the new cache and the nice challenge.

I was relaxing as one does late on a Friday afternoon when ?????? yells out “We got one, two, no three!” Not understanding what she was on about I enquired if her wunderkammer was still in one piece.
An of course it was, but then we had to shoot off for an attempt to grab some recently published caches.??
To boot project GC gave me a ? and so a Joint {*FTF*} with The Green Geckos.

{*FTF*} with Muggle65 this evening. After some vigorous cache preparation on my next wunderkammer cache, we were walking upstairs discussing which we should do first - pour a glass of red or have a shower. Luckily my phone pinged and three new close caches popped up. We grabbed the ladder and got in the car. M65 made sure we qualified as l drove. Nice little climb and great challenge idea. Thank you georode for another fun cache.
