First we did the Abandoned Railway Sidings/Stations series in Port Wakefield and then we drove up to Kandina and worked our way to Moonta doing the next section of the Abandoned Railway Sidings/Stations series. All caches in this series where found. Found with Mogni and JJ52. This weekend it was off to do the Abandoned Railway Sidings/Stations series both in Port Wakefield and also the Abandoned Railway Sidings/Stations trail between Moonta and Kandia plus any other caches that we passed along the way, plus JJ52 was hosting a event in Moonta for her 20,000 cache. It was a busy Saturday day and night, since we went caching after the event in the dark as well. Sunday started with co-hosting a CITO event at Paskeville early in the morning then meeting up with about 20 other teams and doing the Siren Of The Sea geo art then a early lunch and then moving on to do the The Big Question geo art with the remaining teams that haven't already done it. Then it was time to drive home only stopping for a couple more caches. No snakes were sighted but i did get nearly a dozen bug/ant bites over 3 different gz's and stung by a bee in the chest. For the first time in a very, very, very long time i didn't need to replace any full log sheets ( nano log sheets don't count, do your own maintenance ). A very, very tiring weekend given the amount of km's either walked or pedaled but a good weekend away. Surprisingly the weather was a lot better than expected not to hot or cold given the thunder storms either this week.
A weekend away was planned with sir_spectre and mogni to the Yorke Peninsula to complete the Abandoned Railway Sidings caches then meeting up with others to tackle the new mermaid geo art and then the new Big Question caches. It was a busy but fun weekend with a couple of events thrown in and lots of caches found along with me getting to my 20,000 milestone. We had perfect weather and the dirt roads had mostly dried out after the big storm during the week. All in all a successful couple of days. After completing the Abandoned Railway caches in Pt Wakefield we headed here to start those from Kadina to Wallaroo and Wallaroo to Moonta, some we completed in the car and others by bike and most were found without too much trouble. Thanks for the cache Hoppincats.
I have been under the pump at work and needed a relaxing few days to reduce my stress levels and improve my mood. What better way to do this, than a huge geocaching weekend with old and new friends. Powertrials and many other caches were tackled and signed as either mystery randoms or Siren Seekers (SS). Thanks to all that joined in the fun of events, puzzle solving to make this possible and the planners who got us organised. Thanks to Hoppincats from mogni
Away for the weekend to check out some young and old trails. TFTC hoppincats.
A great day of adventuring with Aussie Sparkie. Thanks to all the cache owners for their great work hiding and maintaining these caches for us to enjoy!
Off on our little adventure to YP. Found all caches today. Found with Erine14! Thanks for the Cache!
Heading to Wallaroo for a weekend of caching, trying to finish some we have started along the way and start the abandoned sidings trail. TFTC
Travelling with gorgeous Snap Happy and TheDame to the Yorke Peninsular for a few days.CPwanderer and Gizmo's Gang allowed us to join them as we cached between Port Wakefield and Wallaroo. Please note that our caching name today was "The Usual Suspects" and logs were either stamped or signed with this group name, depending on the size of the log and container. This is a great series of caches and most were found reasonably quickly - with a few that required some significant looking. Thanks so much Hoppincats for placing this series.
**Found by Snap Happy** Out and about with GoodLook and TheDame as we headed to Yorke Peninsular for the weekend. Today we met up with CPwanderer and Gizmo's Gang caching between Port Wakefield and Wallaroo. Our caching name today was *"The Usual Suspects"*. Logs were either stamped or signed with this group name, depending on the size of the log and container. Most caches were found quickly with a couple needing a longer search but all found. Caches were all in good condition unless otherwise stated. The thing I love about caching is the interesting stories, the extra interest and attention you take when traveling, the sight-seeing, the history, the interests of the individual COs, *the fantastic photo opportunities* and sometimes finding places that even some locals dont know about. I, like most cachers, look for more than a mint tin or a container under a bush. I appreciate the time that most COs take to construct a cache and write up a comprehensive listing and to create an interesting cache. **I love traveling this big land of ours.** I love taking the roads less travelled. I love the diversity of the land, the different scenes in the different seasons, the fresh air, the open plains, the lofty vistas and the magnificent waters. I even enjoy the longer scenic walks although I'm not as young and as fit as I used to be. I love the different coffee shops I find. I enjoy the times I cache with others but I usually cache on my own.The weather was patchy with the rain holding off for the most part. The vistas stunning and I particularly love the bright yellow fields of canola (especially if they had old buildings in them). The coffee shops and bakeries wonderful and the company fabulous. Many laughs ensued as we made our way North West.I enjoy each and every cache I find, and it is only with Geocachers like this creating them and placing them out in the world that this wonderful game continues. Thank you Hoppincats for highlighting this area and for providing this game piece for our enjoyment. Thanks for the history lesson too. Appreciate your efforts. - PSorry for the generic log but doing so many in a day we lost track of individual hides. This does not mean we do not appreciate the enormous effort and expense gone into setting up the series. Many thanks Hoppincats for the fun and laughs.**Warning**, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to learning new things and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Cache on! **#19193**
Quickly located with Gizmos Gang, SnapHappy, The Dame and GoodLook!!!!!! We stamped the log "The Usual Suspects!!" Thanks for the adventure!!!!

As we wander through the land, grabbing caches and seeing the sights even occasionally catching up with friends log was full replaced with new one A good day was had while grabbing these caches with lots of miles covered Thanks for placing them *Found with [Geooh GO](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mobiltal.geoohGO)*
Out with an old relic (Cheezel1961) on the pennyfarthings today, we cycled from Wallaroo to Kadina to Pt Hughes and back to Wallaroo, picking up the railtrail caches and nearby ones that we rode past. An awesome day, finding 118 caches and riding 62km.Really enjoyed these bikepaths and cruising around these lovely towns.
Another one bites the dust! Sadly it looks unlikely the Penrice line will be used again, as there are several trees growing through parts of the track and a roundabout cut it off at one point! So... where's our bike trail Barossa peeps !!! So many old stations gone but not forgotten! Thanks for the cache listing Hoppincats and for having us as part of the beta placing crew! ------------------------------ ------------------------------PS:Don't forget to put the SA June Long Weekend in your diary for 2024 too... leap back into the 80s - GCAK1D5 - Lameroo's Ludicrous Legwarmers Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)] I do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log... someone actually did read to the end and alerted me to just a project GC badge that requires long logs. Is that all? Oh well, thanks for reading!Well at least it's not as bad as finding a mint tin! Did you get that... stop putting out rusty mint tins, just stop it, now!!! C'est fini... For now... ... until tomorrow!
In all our travels we would not have even thought to travel to this location. (HaHa). In your dreams, these cachers do. [:(!] Thanks for an awesome effort. Devilish Brilliant and Clever I like it Another one off the list TTBLNSL TFTC/TFTH/TFBUH - Hoppin Cats [^]

A nice easy find in the early evening and another day on my calendar challengeThanks hoppincats!
Travelling Australia in our caravan since February 2014.
We cycled from Wallaroo to Kadina and return collecting smilies. Then back at the van and we jumped in the GeoCruiser and drove back to Kadina to gather a few more smilies then down to Moonta to tackle a few more. Home just on sunset.
Lucky for us the sun was mostly out and the wind was not gale force. The flies were still around though and ever so annoying when they got in behind your glasses. [xx(]

Freddo and Team Waldron headed to warmer climes around Broken Hill, Cobar, Bourke, Cunnamulla
and Charleville.
After a cold start in Broken Hill the weather improved once we got further north. Sadly our last night in Broken was wet which, pardon the pun, put a dampener on things.
All up it was a great week away and lots of caches were found with only 3 dnfs.
Thanks to all who placed and maintained their caches. The occasional cache was damaged and we refurbished it and we also left new logbooks as required.

The son of the son of the son of the son of a railwayman. I know railways and their stations. Grandfathers in CR and SAR. That makes me a SCAR man. My first pay check was from CR. Cold hard cash in those days.
Riding into a head wind going out. Tail wind and down hill going home. Cache found and logged by one of team for the day.

Found with Team Waldron and Freddo during a day of touring the Abandoned Railway Sidings/Stations series around Kadina, Wallaroo and Moonta, signing the logs as TWFF. A great day for a ride with a cool temperature and light(ish) winds. Thanks for the cache and series Hoppincats!
Travelling with richlink from Perth to Darwin up along the west coast and home again through the centre and the Nullarbor. We are on the home stretch now, just a few days in the Yorke to pick up a few caches.
We noticed that some new caches had been added to this series. We were short of time, but set out to find a few before the FTF hunters hit the trail.
Thanks Hoppincats
