Met up with iluvtrekking this morning to continue our trip up to Jurien. A few stops along the route to grab these finds. Found 7 mts from where our gps led us. Thanks fratra.

Nope, gave ourselves 5 minutes and failed to locate the cache today.

Found after visiting the pinnacles. Just needed to step in a little and there it was. TFTC

DNF needed more then 2 min to search.

Managed to find the cache it is definitely more than a 1.5 difficulty but it took a long time to find TFTC

A caching trip from Canberra, ACT to Cape York, Qld and then around the gulf to East Arnhem Land, NT then over the top of WA and down to Perth.Interesting detours to Thursday Island, Mabuiag Island, Mornington Island, Doomadgee, Hells Gate, Nhulunbuy, Wadeye, Litchfield National Park, Wyndham, the Gibb River Road, Monkey Mia, Meekatharra, Wiluna, Laverton, Warburton, Kargoorlie, Westonia, Goomalling, Kalannie, Jurien Bay & The Pinnacles.TFTC. A nice quick find, was looking with the wrong thought, a change of that and noticed I'd looked through it a few times. Thanks for the cache!

Managed to grab this one before we did the turn around as we had our dogs with us. Really think this type of hide is worthy of more than a difficulty 1.5 rating. Tftc

Not a massive fan of spidery hides, gave it a good look from the side but didnt want to dig in too deep in the undergrowth so gave up TFTC anyway

Day 1 of my road trip, the race n and wind have returned, making drive by and finding caches a little difficult, but the m getting there just a bit slower than I thought.

We were unable to make the IGD Event this year as the Mrs had family commitments in England.
She's back now and we have picked a glorious day to take a drive to find some of the new caches that have been placed. TFTC fratra

Out in Jurien Bay for the IGD event, thanks to the COs for all the new hides in recent weeks TFTH.

Really enjoy event weekends and was great to be up in Jurien bay seeing some like minded people.

Hitting the road for IGD2023 in Jurien Bay. Looking forward to a great weekend! I’ve only been to Jurien Bay once in my life, and that was for a lunch stop on the way to Geraldton, so it will be good to spend some time in town. Naturally the drive up and back were caching missions in their own right, with the objective to clean up the new placements. Plenty of new and old caches in town too, that I am yet to have touched up in my last trip. This cache was one of this weekend’s many stops. Cheers fratra!

Another year rolls round and another International Geocaching Day Event. This time heading north to Jurien Bay.

Took a fair few detours to get to town departing Perth at sparrows.

Had a great day out - finding over 40 caches and meeting a couple of teams on the road.

Finished with the sundowner event in town and a couple of coldies.

Thanks to the community and the local COs for a great day out.

Lol that the type of hide matched the bay name. This was actually tricky to spot for some reason. Thanks for the hide.

Heading up to Jurien for IGD23. Taking the ocean road to pick up this new series. All safe pull overs and a nice variety of hides.
