Ive been camping with a motor home group a few kilometres out of Yarrawonga but today drove i to town and explored the less developed areas Oh dear. This one gave me a hard time as I spent over 20 minutes looking unsuccessfully for this and eventually headed off to the fourth as my phone had the persistent wanders and never settled down. Decided to nave another quick look before returning to the parking area Saw the most beautiful brown snake lying perfectly still right in the middle of the road See photo TFTC Merlectro
Family is away for the first week of the school holidays and so I have a plan to go caching. First goal is to make 7000 caches and hoping to crack 180 in a day on Monday. Today I headed west with the geohound - starting on 821 caches for the year (250 AdLabs!) and hoping to crack 50 in various LGAs for the day. It also happens to be AFl Grand Final day so listening to the Swans and the Lions as well. This was another that took a while to locate. Resorted to past logs and one gave some specific information and that helped a lot. The sneaky find was soon found and so back to the car for the next group in Yarrawonga.TFTC Merlectro
Wow this also had me going in circles. Ready to mark it as a DNF. I thought hang on a minute your giving up to easily. Then I spotted it! Im pretty proud of myself for not giving up. Young fella done well to wait for mumma to find it! He loves the chair nearby & we are having a rest while I type this log. These loud bangs we can hear in the distance have us scratching our heads too. Weve spotted a few golfers across the way. TFTC!
Took the new geopup out for an afternoon to stroll to burn off some puppy energy and we swung by here to check on this one.Happy to say its still there in the same spot I found it a while back.
So nice to be out and about enjoying the great winter sunshine in this peaceful reserve. There were a lot of hiding spots to search but eventually we spotted the well disguised cache. Thanks Merlectro for the cache.
After all the excitement at the previous cache, it was nice to search for this one in the peace and quiet. It still took me longer than what it should have though, but half of that was probably trying to decipher the hint, ha.Anyway, I did find it and signed my life away, then wandered back to the car wishing I had worn better boots than the ones I had on.
This certainly would be a horrible shot if a wayward shot made it here. We rode our bikes around the area again today and then we wondered around a little bit until I spotted the sneaky hide.
#5522 It certainly would be a horrible shot if a ball found its way near gz here. The cache was found after a short search lying out in the open on the ground. After Sl it was attached to the fence adjacent near a steel dropper. May not be where the cache is suppose to be hidden so a check by the CO recommended. TFTC Merlectro.
A lot of searching with the kids. Checked all the trees, stumps, bench seat and cross referenced with previous photos, no luck after 20 mins.
A lovely mostly shady walk while my wife had meetings. Once I got to GZ, I disturbed two sleeping kangaroos before making the find of a micro! Not sure what the hint means!?!TFTC.
GPS Bouncing a bit, clue cryptic to me till I spied the prize. Found easily enough then. We used to bring our dogs here for a run but dogs now gone doggy heaven, and weve moved from area however it was nice to see a few new GCs for me to find and log. Also nice to bring my Unicorn Trackable TB4W434 to another beachy/waterside area on the Murray River. TFTC Cache nice and dry. TFTC
That was a bit tricky with the GPS all over the place. Found it in the end. Imagine hitting a golf ball over here! TFTC.
We could hear the thwack of club hitting golf ball, but fortunately no bad shots landed near us! Found and SL at 9.47am on our wander around the Park. #10,410 TFTC Merlectro
Out caching with Byker152 today and after our recent FTF we were keen to complete a few more. This series has appeared since my last visit to Mulwala. A nice little walk and all caches were found in good order. TFTC!
Out and about today exploring the area with Geowife and Geodogs. A very pleasant stroll along the track. All good here. Now onto the next one for the day. TFTC
Nice hidden gem. Lovely spot to hear the birds sing and admire the view. The caches on this track are hard to spot but hubby has an eye for micros. TFTC
Nice easy find with Jackez74 ️

We really enjoyed walking along the bush track searching for the new caches.
This cache was a quick and easy find with Matho64. We saw so many kangaroos nearby. TFTC

{FTF} @7:14am
Having got the FTF on the cache nearest to the carpark, I thought I would do the walk anti clockwise. Walked thru a clearing on the track, and there would have, had to be 200 kangaroos either side of the track, watching me attentively. Once at GZ, cache was soon in hand. You’re right….if your hitting a ball here….it’s a bad shot. TFTC Merlectro
