A day in Nashville chasing a few virtuals....well 26 of them if I was counting.
Current cost to enter is $15, but when you get to walk around the gardens as well, it is worth it.
Info gathered and e-mail sent
Thanks for the history lesson....and greetings from Australia.

Met up with GSCC and grabbing a few local caches. Answers on the way. TFTC
Made this find while visiting this lovely area with ARKAY950 and friends. Nice to be able to add a cache to our list while discovering a new area. Guess that was the point though
My wife, younger daughter and I took a few days off to visit Nashville. We have wanted to come here for years but there something always came up. This year we were able to get away after final exams were graded and the semester ended. We wanted to go to the Grand Old Opry, Country Music Hall of Fame, The Parthenon, The Hermitage, Cheekwood, Belle Meade and especially the Ryman Auditorium. We also wanted to run south to Lynchburg and Tullahoma to tour the distilleries there. We had a great time in the area, visited some relatives in Hendersonville, ate some great barbecue at Jacks and the Loveless Cafe and saw some interesting displays at the area's many attractions. We kept a blog of our trip at http://beckelhimerfamily.blogspot.com/. We loved Cheekwood and took tons of photos in the many gardens. The mansion was being redecorated so we were unable to see everything there but spending time outside was certainly pleasant on a pretty day.
Answers to the required questions have been email to the cache owner and confirmation has been received. This is a great place to have a virtual cache where a physical cache would be impossible. I wish that groundspeak would reinstate virtual caches since we can find virtuals in places like this.
Thank you for keeping this virtual active since the number of grandfathered virtual caches is fewer all the time.

We really enjoyed this cache. Simple and yet pleasently functional. Thanks for bring us here.
This was a nice sculture and such a beautiful area to come see. Papa Bear and I really enjoyed our visit here. Thanks for bringing us to these lovely gardens. Mia 87
I took a friend to a Regional Library meeting in Brentwood and decided I would visit Cheekwood while she was in her meeting. It was a beautiful day and I went ahead and did the membership so I can bring my grandchildren back for all the fun activities. Answers on the way. Thanks for finally getting me over to visit Cheekwood with three fun finds!
I really enjoyed my visit here! I always love Cheekwood, and this time was no exception. Thanks!

Grabbed this one while part of the group was in the gift shop. Birdbath could use some cleaning - do we log a "needs maintenance" log for that?
Email sent with the answers, let us know if there are any issues.

HaresEar and I made a visit to the gardens today to checkout some virtual caches. This was the first one we stopped for. e-mail has been sent. Thanks for the fun virtual cache.
I found this with ParrGolf. I always love to get the virtual caches when I am near. There was a thunder storm in the area so we weren't sure if we would be able to grab these. Thanks for keeping this one going. Email sent.
Nice spot, my phone app kept jumping me all over this thing...lesson learned, grab the gps next time...tftc.
We had a great time at Cheekwood today, the drive here was nice going through the Belle Meade area from downtown. TFTVC
