With a full day to cache around Ashburton and some lovely clear weather we had a wonderful time exploring. Thanks to the COs for placing the caches for us to discover.

Found on a nice drive out this way. Liked the container so worth a favorite point
Nice easy find and cute container! Heading South on a wee road trip today and collecting some of the most favourited caches. Thanks so much.
A nicely hidden cache. Was considering plunging under the canopy when I spotted it and breathed a sigh of relief! Thanks for placing this cache. FP for the hide.#10328
Spent too long on the wrong side then finally dived and got my hands on it. Nice work! Cheers
Today it was time to leave Christchurch and to start our roadtrip. Today went until Lake Tekapo and made some nice cache stops on the way. From time to time we needed a break and what a surprise we stopped near a cache...[:o)] We found the well hidden cache after a few momwnts. Thanks for hiding and maintaining the cache.Happy hunting!TFTCschnuckel1[#23998]
What was to be the first find of many today. On a mission with Bitsprayer so the day would be pretty full on!Thankserninz
A nice quick find. Thanks for placing your cache. We went for a drive to AshVegas for the day, caching and lunch and art gallery for Ms_KR. A nice day for a drive, and a few caches to find too.Occaisionally signed MK+KR on cache logs, and apologies for the generic logs. Thanks to all CO's for publishing and maintaining their caches.
I made this way harder than necessary by crawling in too far past the cache until it was impossible to go any further and then back track out again. The cache was very well covered and I only found it by accident really. Another well crafted container thanks busy paws. TFTC # 20,570
My excuse for not spotting the cache when I first looked is that I didn't know the cache name, or maybe I just couldn't see the wood for the trees ?Anyway, StreetWalkerNZ was more on the ball and soon we were logging our find . Thanks for the effort with the hide and TFTC.
#23116. Troodles looked in the right place first and didn't spot the cache. I had a proper look and spotted the cache right away. Loved the container! TFTC.
Very cool cache thank you. Found on a beautiful day while heading to Christchurch with KJR
Heading to Christchurch with AlpiSteve so of course we had to do a couple stops along the way. First detour to get the 2 newish caches along this road. No problems locating this one...very cool ?? TFTC
Day 3 and last day in Ashburton. After watching the All Black's World Cup match against Italy it was time to head out and seek some of my unfounds West of SH1. This was the first of 3 caches targeted out on this side of the river this morning. Loved the camo - another Fav earned. TFTC BP
We have had a great day exploring new areas of Ashburton. Now at the end of the day and grabbing a few more before meeting at restaurant for dinner. This is a great cache and title which made a smile so a fav from us. Thanks for the cache busy paws.
Again a neat little hide and such a well prepared container!! Our first find today after missing a biggie in town, so conscience is mollified and we leave happy. Thank you P.
A quick easy find of a nicely crafted cache, which gets a favourite from us. TFTC
Very well put together so a favourite point from me. It took a few minutes to click and the spotted something. All good thank you. TFTH
Out and about finding a few more caches this fine morning. Nice one! I crawled past the cache and then noticed it as I backed out from under the tree. TFTC, Biggles.
This morning we geocached into Ashburton and continued down to Wakanui and found 8 geocaches. After lunch, we went shopping and then grabbed a milkshake at Macdonald's. As we were sitting in the car my phone pinged and when I looked, there was an email saying there were a couple of new geocaches released. Wouldn't it be cool if they were in Ashburton? And guess what? it was. We headed north and found two geocaches, both were FTF. So exciting!
Then I saw that there were some new geocaches in the south of town, the way we need to go home. One was a Dame puzzle in which I immediately recognised the initials, the first time I have done that. We found that one too.
At 17.10 we found our fourth FTF of the day, a record for us I would think. Four FTFs in 30 mins. I found the container quickly with excellent coordinates and an excellent hint. It was a great container too which should keep the log safe and sound.
Another favourite point for this cache and for adding an exciting finish to International Geocaching Day!
