I walked around Central Adelaide today, logging caches. This was a quick find, and cache and log were good. TFTC equipe de cinq.
Found it! Spending a few hours in the city before the Adelaide United game, collecting AdLab stages and any other caches along the way. This was the first physical find of the day! TFTC!
19 1997 Ferrari 355 F1 - Iris was transferred from GeocachingSA to user equipe de cinq
I had four hours to kill waiting for my car to be serviced, so I spent the time wisely geocaching.EZ find. Thanks for the cache, GeocachingSA
A cool and fun weekend of caching around Adelaide. This cache was a straightforward find in the obvious location. Container and log in good condition. Thanks!
Out with the team for a good time in the city and surrounds. Plenty of shoe leather and lots of fun.TFTC
A fun few days in this beautiful city with friends. Lots of walking in the cool fresh air with little time to spare - fun! Quick find! TFTC GeocachingSA!
Arrived in Adelaide to meet up with Doctor Owl and JJ52 for a morning's caching before the City Pub Lunch event and, of course, I was stupidly early. Did give me time to make a quick find on this. Thanks for the hide!!
Thanks for another one of your finds! Let's keep on finding them! Thanks to my friend pudgypanda2 as well. TFTC
After attending an event this evening, we came back to West Terrance. Accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks Memphis and Friends for another in the series - only two more to find.
Last cache before getting back to the car, though I have a sneaking suspicion I've missed one. All good here and the skateboarders didn't car, and the random guy throwing a tennis ball, then fetching it, the repeating also didn't care. Surprised how many people can't replace the logbooks the right way round in the mint tin!Phew, what a scorcher as they say. The heat has been steadily building through the week and today was the first day that it hit 40 degrees for me whilst out caching, yay, another first. I had a late morning meeting I needed to be ready for but managed to find time for a quick 4A out to Semaphore area for a look-see before the catch-up. After that I headed into 'the city' for a few more, but the heat was too much so grand plans were amended downwards and modest finds ensued. Thanks to all COs for their hides etc, much appreciated.
Watawieh from Norfolk Island South Pacific.Vroom, vroom I am visiting Adelaide this week to attend The Great Leap Forward mega. Found during my mega adventures while having mega fun with deanside & TeamAstro Found & logged using Cachly for iOS
Adelaide Leap Day trip. Day 10. All good things must come to an end and today was the last day of group caching with my Canberra friends. Before that I attended the event down towards Oakland Pk. The drive across town was at exactly the wrong time and took way longer than I expected. Even so, I joined up with Joolay, Kitty Katch, Gliss!, NibletRiceCakes, Barb2e and Isopeda and we set about targeting some of the caches that have been deemed high priority by parts of the team. We signed the caches SALI-24. The main area to visit was Mawson lakes, but we did end up going a lot further north in order to get one of the counties and D/T caches. Then there was a bit of time for lunch and caching back towards the airport. I bid the Canberrans farewell and went on to do a little bit of caching along the west side of the City before heading home for a longer evening rest than has been the case over the past few day.I saw the Labs in this park and managed to find two other caches while I was here. Thanks for the cache GeocachingSA45751.17 TNLNVisited: World Traveling Gold GC A#6 & April 2017 Crest of Nerddom A#360**Albida**
Geoturtle37, OzHockeyChick, RoamingHowie and myself are out picking up some selected caches before we all have to go our separate ways. This was a nice quick find and we were on our way again. Thanks for placing the cache for us to find.
Day #12 Leaping Forward AdventuresOne last day of local adventures with OzHockeyChick, GeoTurtle37 and Papi4506. Exploring targeted caches, favourites, D/T and others. As the team drooled over the cars at the nearby dealership, not particularly caching friendly though, we crossed the road and made a quick find. Thanks GeocachingSA for adding this cache to the worldwide collection for us all to enjoy. ----------------------------------------------------------The Ballarat GeoTour ends on 4 March 2024! Be sure to find all the caches and earn the souvenir before the tour is archived. This afternoon Im hitching a ride with the mint tin man to visit a few Adventure Lab sites and find a few caches before heading to an event, on a hill, later this arvo. After scooting around various suburbs, we headed into the city. We wandered around the oval to make this find and returned to the mint mobile to head off to another, fingers crossed, find.TFTC GeocachingSAKeep smiling
Found whilst in Adelaide for the mega on 29 Feb, The Great Leap Forward. Quick find at GZ whilst the markets were being set up nearby. Lovely park and cool skate rink, TFTC!

Decided to get down to Adelaide for a few days as part of the Great Leap Forward Mega event. The general target was EarthCaches, Virtuals and Adventure Labs with plenty of other finds along the way.Too easy!TFTC!
Morning on the second day of my week or so in South Australia. Today promises to be a long one. And then I struggle to find anything open for coffee and breakfast on my walk from my motel in the CBD to the bus stop I need. But after I did eventually sort that out, I am still a bit early for my bus. Well, what else does a guy do, but check the geocaching app?Within sight, is this convenient icon. Doesn't look complex, or tricky or like it'll take more than a moment, and beats staring into the morning city rush traffic. I wander over and there's just a few cyclists going by and a whole lot of ibises wishing they knew how to operate the bowl of the skate park.A quick feel around and I had the geocache in hand. Simple and unremarkable but all in good condition. At 09:31 the log was signed and all replaced as found. A minute or two occupied from my wait, so worthwhile. Not sure I have to say about this specific Ferrari. Or any Ferrari really. I know they're red, and I'm just not a sports car enthusiast kinda guy. Thanks for this smiley, Memphis and Friends and Geocaching SA
Over from Perth for a few days to attend the Leap Day Mega. And today is the day! After an enjoyable few hours at the event itself I headed off for a drive around picking up some target caches with the aim to get a good mix of types and sizes. Kicking myself that I've previously done both the webcams on previous trips over... so a leapday find for that type will have to wait a little longer!! This was a quick find while in the area also picking up an adventure lab. TFTC
Date: 29 February 2024 Time: 9:45 pmFind #14775Adventured today with beckNmonts, Earthbound Chief and Team_Crumble. A fabulous leap forward pretty much all day.Massive thanks go to GeocachingSA for placing this one. ??
Found as part of the SPBINZ team (Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ, and Nanzie). Found as we enjoyed a wander around the park signing off caches and ticking off the Ad Labs. Caching as team SPBINZ: Sidewaze, Paddlechick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie from Nelson, New Zealand. Really enjoying finding all the caches and all the cache types we can, as well as, of course enjoying the hospitality of our South Australian colleagues and the camaraderie of like-minded friends and acquaintances at the Leap Day Mega. Found while tracking down the Ad Lab waypoints and other caches in the area. Thanks for the cache ??.
A nice easy find. Log signed as SPBINZ, Sidewaze, Paddle Chick, Bullertrout, IsisNZ and Nanzie. TFTC Memphis and Friends#16243
After 16 years of caching the time has come to tick off a mega. After arriving late last night into Adelaide I was up early with a mission to collect as many cache types as were available today. I headed into town before the event in the hope to pick up the web cam caches and a sprinkling of others to set me up for the rest of the day. Finding a safe place to park I was soon at ground zero and the prize was quickly obtained. Now off to enjoy more of what Adelaide has to offer and tick a few boxes along the way.A big thanks to the cache owner for making this available to be found.Cheers
Missed out on all the Leap Day activities today due to work, but could not stop grabbing a cache for the day A nice stroll this evening and an easy find. TNLNSL TFTC
We had spent the morning at the mega and then made our way here. A quick find. TFTC.

Today we found 19 1997 Ferrari 355 F1 - Iris on our travels. On a brief visit to Adelaide for Leaping Forward so many caches, not enough time! Thanks GeocachingSA for being part of our geocaching fun.
On secondment to Melbourne, Australia, combined with short holidays here and there. Day 38/74, Wednesday. I made a very quick trip to Adelaide to participate in The Great Leap Forward mega event. On the 28th, I left Melbourne right after a rather short workday and took a flight to Adeleide, where I participated in the reviewers' dinner (I work as a reviewer for Finland & land Islands) with Australian reviewers and HQ lackeys and on my way to the restaurant and and back, also geocached a bit. On the 29th, I worked from my hotel in the morning, participated in the mega event and geocached around the city a little bit in the afternoon, then headed to the airport and continued my working day there. So it was quite a combination of everything but I was happy I could make it to the mega anyway. I was back to Melbourne after midnight on the March 1st then. Thanks for the cache and greetings from Vaasa, Finland! Logged with [GCDroid](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gcdroid).

6 months ago, during a frenzy, we said to ourselves "why not going to the mega in Adelaide for the leapday". From scratch we moved on to preparing an 18-day project in Australia. Our objectives are simple, visit a small part of this immense continent while validating a few caches. There are so many caches (impossible to do everything) that we will select. Our plan will allow us to visit Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Mount Gambier and finish in Adelaide for the famous Mega.During our stay we will log PestiHoot for Pestinette and Blackhoot.During our 5 days in Adlade, we visited the centre and around while following the caches and labs. We resolved some mysteries before our trip. We made some great discoveries and great experiences. Thanks to the caches we visited many sites evoking Australian culture and history. Thanks for the cache and the discovery of beautiful or original spots
Found with earthlight while in the city attending an event and finding Ad Labs.TFTC GeocachingSA
Driving cars is another hobby that makes much fun. ??But this evening my Destinator and me walked along here, signed the logbook and went to the nearby event at leap days eve. ??Thank you for placing and many greetings from Germany.#4444
I've seen the movie a few times - the story is barely existent, but the cars are the real stars of the show.Together with my beloved wife Madeye&Moody I had some spare time before heading over to the nearby event. This was a quick grab and go, as there were no mugglers around.#4303
Found with Mogni. Found after attending the nearby The Adelaide Park Lands event. Also just completed the nearby adventure lab and then checked for nearby caches. This was only 8 meters away. Quick find. Found in the dark.

Find #200 for me. Found on my lunchtime walk from my work nearby. Beautiful day for caching!TFTC
Owl was between coffee with a friend and the Light event so arranged for Eagle to drop her at a convenient spot for a walk into town. This one was spotted from the lab cache so a mercifully quick retrieve on a muggle-filled day.

In the area to watch some West Indies versus Australia cricket, and decided to go for a stroll. No problems, finding this one.
Claiming beta status on this awesome series. Gone in 60 seconds.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. 21133During our great trip around the world we arrived in Australia after visiting Canada, US, and some places in the Caribean Sea and Central America as well as Fiji. Besides lots of sightseeing, we can't do without caching, of course. That's why we also passed by this place, searched for the cache, found it and successfully signed the logbook.Thank you for hiding and maintaining the cache. Only thanks to dedicated owners is this beautiful game possible.Wir danken alle Cache-Ownern fr ihren Einsatz, denn ohne die Gemeinschaft ist dieses tolle weltweite Hobby nicht zu realisieren.
Although I have been caching since 2014, I'm yet to tick over 3,000 caches...so you can't describe the effort as prolific. But I have located at least one every month since I started. Fast forward to today, and I still hadn't got a smiley in November. However the weather at lunch was superb so a good walk, a quick look and a smiley were in order. The streak continues. TFTC.
Found this 1997 Ferrari after parking my 2023 BYD EV a couple hundred meters away. Nice location, just next to another EV. Thanks Memphis and Friends for the hide.
A quick find with naughtybunny. We nearly broke something, thinking it was there but then we saw it from an angle. Good thing those skaters are too busy skating in the distance. TNLN. Cheers.
Thanks GeocachingSA for hiding this cache and giving us some fun chasing it down This was find number 926 for us
A physical cache to follow on from the breakfast event in the city. Nice placement here , with the familiar Ferrari horse visible across the road. A quick find at GZ. Thanks once again Memphis and Friends.
My first find in November 2023.After having lunch cross the street, I tried this cache. I am slowly ticking off this series and today I made my way around finding them, all in good order for the ones I found. This morning after a breakfast event in north Adelaide I decided to head out to find some caches around the city before being in the western suburbs finding some caches that were newly published. Thanks for the cache
Found during an afternoon of caching targeting the western suburbs and along the Lefevre Peninsula, that included a range of quick drive-by grabs, a series of multis involving a pleasant walk alongside the dunes and a number of puzzle caches with a sprinkling of pole retrievals. Thanks for the cache Memphis and Friends!
In town for a few days, figured Id explore the city while caching. This was a quick grab as I scootered around. TFTC!
With perfect spring weather outside, I escaped the office and jumped on the mountainbike and headed out of the CBD for a spot of caching. Parked the bike at GZ just before the local high school spewed 100+ students onto the footpath nearby. Quickly grabbed the cache, signed the log and returned it! Done in 60 seconds.
