Made a long trip today from FLL to Key West and back. Along the way I had a list of selected caches to find. The aim was to find 8 different types of caches and a number of caches for which the "month hidden" was still left open.

The ICNR family is staying in Hillsboro Beach for Thanksgiving week and I made sure to head down to Miami for an event this morning. I left early so I could score a couple other caches in the area, turns out this was the only one I had time for before the start of the event. I was very confused at first because my compass had me heading to an empty triangle of land. Hmm.....a quick glance at some of the pictures on the cache page and duh! There is what I was looking for! This is a super awesome place and I walked around as much of it as I could before an employee stopped me to inform me it's not open to the public until 10am. No worries, I was able to take a bunch of pictures and gather all of the information I need to log the find. This is one of the coolest places geocaching has taken me to and I love how it just blends in perfectly with the gorgeous houses in the neighborhood. I love virtual caches and this oldie is a super-bonus for me because this spot just so happens to be on the National Register of Historic Places which helps me along on a 5/5 challenge cache back home that I've been slowly chipping away at for years! An email with the necessary information has been sent. An easy favorite point from me! TFTVC

Smithj9 and I were staying in the Naples area for a bit and made the drive over to grab a few of these old Virtual caches we didn't have. Thanks for the cool cache and for bringing us out here.

Acachingcat and I had a few counties we need down the middle of Florida so we decided to head that way over Thanksgiving break. We had so much fun. We got our counties and worked mostly on virtuals and earthcaches. We grabbed some other caches along the way as well. We saw so much while making this trip. We did some heavy duty bushwacking, saw the backcountry and beaches, enjoyed a lot of nature along the way. We ended up with the oldest cache in Florida as well. We went from one coast to the other and ended our trip with an event. It was a sweet success and I appreciate the CO's placing these caches along the way for us to find.

Hard to believe this was an unsightly anything at some point. Very nice place and wonderful history. Thanks for bringing us here. Answers were sent by Acachingcat.

5 hour layover allowed us time to hit Miami....always nice to get a virtual outta state! Cool place, but they Our ( Bear Territory, Kanchan, GFPA & Me) 1st chance to cache after a great Sao Paulo tour w/ Danielho! Park on bikes!!! us out to to closing time! Answers sent in for our group. Tx!

We had a layover in Miami so, BearTerritory rented the car and we piled in with sweetpea1953 and Kanchan. This was a very interesting spot! The neighborhood was pretty nice, too. Thanks for the virtual. We submitted the information for the whole crew.

I visited the place with thegirlsfromPA, BearTerritory and sweetpea1953 on 11/5/15 in the 5-hour layover to São Paulo. I was looking forward to checking out this place, but it was closed when we got there. Anyway, we were able to collect the needed information and thegirlsfromPA (I think) sent the answers for the group. TFTC!

Geotwink and I are here from Rochester, MN visiting the Florida Keys and other areas for a few days before our Caribbean Cruise leaves from Miami. Along the way we're picking up a number of geocaches.

Having the use of a free limo and driver certainly helped us grab a few Virtual Caches around Miami today ! Second stop after lunch was out to this one. the locals were making good use of the area today !
