9 November 2024 4:46pmFound with catnap777 and with a nudge from Cybergran V. CoolThis was another great puzzle by Jamin Appleford which, just like the rest of them, we hated..... until we got it solved. TwistedHonestly man, why do you keep making us say so many nasty things about you. WinkThen of course, once we got the one word nudge, the puzzle unfolded delightfully and we were like.... Wow! Thats cool! Why didnt we see that? So clever. RazzThe puzzle was only topped by the excellent hide at GZ which we did manage to catch on to unassisted and surprisingly quickly. [^]TFTC Jamin. This one gets a fav from me. Big Grin

In Brisbane for a couple of months coming towards the end of our BIG Lap of OZ in 2023, a spate of new puzzles were being released in Wang, timing was good, as it was some downtime on our travels, so had the ability to make the solves, just couldn't participate in the FTF hunts...We decided today we would make the trip to Wang on a lovely winter's day and reduce our large solved pile...This puzzle was a real doozy, some lateral thinking required to get the numbers from the numb3rs !!!GZ was a real doozy, found a likely location but it certainly took some finger strength to access the cache, TFTC Jamin, FP awarded for the puzzle and the hide !!!

Found after an overnight in Wangaratta. Before heading home I stopped to collect a few solved puzzles that were just waiting for the find. This was the last before heading home. At GZ I spotted something a little off straight away, actually accessing the log was a bit more tricky. Had to get closer to be able to see what I was doing. Log extracted, signed and all carefully replaced as found. Puzzle was solved with a bit of a hint to put me on the correct path. TFTC

GZ: Eww. So many mozzies and ants. Eww.SL at 18:50pm. Ew. PUZZLE: Ew. Thanks for the help Ronnice. Needed a clue and was on it straight away. I was so close. Anyway, great puzzle again Jamin.

This weekend was out annual Christmas do at Bonnie Doon, this meant I could escape over to Wangarratta to find a few caches, I had seen the puzzles published and as many know I like to keep up with solving new puzzles, thankfully I had them all solved so they were My main target today. I was lucky enough to get help from an old friend who was local to the area and owned a large ladder, we had a great time catching up and just sharing the ups and downs of life. This is one of the caches found today. The weather was just perfect. A nice hide here but it stood out to a veteran, I can see it fooling a few new players though. Some interesting stats, out of the 27 caches found there were 17 Micros, 5 smalls, 3 others (that were really micro) and 2 virtual's. There were plenty of spots that would have taken a regular or a large but none were found today. Thanks Jamin Appleford for the cache.

And the last of these type for today anyway. Thanks

Out and about around Wangaratta, with our caching companions Suscoe, on the last day for this trip. We found a variety of interesting caches including trads, multi's, Virtuals and puzzles worked on before leaving home, such as this one. Super strong attraction with this one! Thanks to Jamin Appleford for hiding interesting puzzle caches. 36210

Warming up so happy for a quick find at GZ on a quiet Sunday arvo. Theres plenty of big Numb3RS and options for my pea brain to play with so this NUMB3R puzzle took some time but like most things puzzling something was learnt! Enroute to marvellous Melbs via Wang to pick up a clutch of caches before I forget them. TFTC and the fun!

Chook joined forces with The Tritonz and headed to Wangaratta for a couple of days, with the main targets being to find a few solved puzzles and tackle the HSS Basketball Geoart before it gets archived soon. Having completed the HSS yesterday, this morning we had time to pick up a few more puzzles before we had to return home.A nice puzzle that should have rung a few more bells than it did, but after going deep down some rabbit holes, the kind CO provided the hint to get the show on the road properly. No wonder things looked familiar. Today at GZ it was a relatively quick find by Mr Tritonz of a nicely made cache. TFTC and puzzle Jamin Appleford. Fave point.

With the HSS geoart now completed, we were able to concentrate once more on the local puzzles that had mostly been solved collaboratively with chooknchunk and OzHockeyChick. Unfortunately OHC was unable to join us due to work commitments but we still had the pleasure of caching with chook this morning before parting ways as our mini break comes to an end. This puzzle really had the grey matter going, numb3rs, numb3rs, numb3rs everywhere, what to do with them? We had an idea what we were dealing with but not the method. Once we had a slight prod we were able to painstakingly produce the coordinates much to everyone's delight.Today at GZ the clever hide was spotted by the male Triton as he was about to search something else. Thanks Jamin Appleford for the clever puzzle and sneaky hide, a favourite point for both.

I spotted the devious cache after a little searching on my second visit and holy moly that is a really tough cache to reinstall. Had to reach a good distance, definitely recommend a tott if you have fat fingers, but doable without. This is my first ever 2TF, and I'm so happy to be able to log this, after such tricky puzzle.

Didn't find this today, managed to solve this really tricky puzzle but had no idea where the cache was. It's a tough hide and was scared to check places since they were Crawling with ants Need to come back for redemption.

We have been playing with the numbers for a while, but still had not got the final co-ords out.Today while doing some maintenance in Wang, we had a look around where we though GZ should be. Just about to give up when we spotted the cache.Interesting container, bit of a bugger to rehide.{FTF} gone at 10am.Thanks, Robmc.

#21,371. {FTF} at 10.00am. One of the most miraculous finds ever, without solving the puzzle. This has saved us a few days of our lives and several headaches and grey hairs by the sounds of it.You know that last sentence on the cache page - Try not to drop the cache. Ha! Very, very, tricky returning the cache into place and without the most fortuitous TOTT that Rob happened to have with him it could have meant a trip to the car for a better TOTT. A favourite point for a lucky FTF this morning. Thanks Jamin.

Solved in Cairns !!! But won't be back home until Christmas...happy hunting everyone

Well that gave me a few extra greys. Now, the question is…. to drive down and attempt these new caches with a moon boot on, awaiting surgery, or not?! ??
