Another day out with Doctor Owl and sushilord heading to the northwest suburbs to find caches that we all hadn't found and there are still a lot of those. Another good day with lunch thrown in although there were a couple of DNF's which didn't please us much....and another one. Thanks for the cache GeocachingSA.
More urban caching with the geopoodles today around the Port. Found this cache and signed the log.
Beautiful autumn weather so went for a trip to Adelaide's north western suburbs. Found a collection of mainly traditional low D/T caches with a puzzle and letterbox thrown in for luck. Cleared a few more of the Gone in 60 Seconds series - those caches found in a Mada CX5. Not many people in the Port...even less at Gillman. Cheers to all COs for putting out these caches. TFTC.
Again, accurate coordinates and a familiar style of hide led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. Thanks GeocachingSA fir this cache and the series.
Thanks for this quick find cache. Stealth was used in the dark for retrieval and return.
Over from Perth for a few days to attend the Leap Day Mega. Today was centered around attending the event & CITO in St Clair then spending a few hours exploring and caching my way along the coast down from Semaphore. I had a select few caches, ad labs and LGAs on my hit list. This was one that I stopped at along the way and another quick find was made TFTC
Found It!Another bus stop and another quick find here after the nearby event!TFTC
Awesome to see the new blank log-books that have recently been placed in this series of caches in anticipation of the Mega, FP here for that awesomeness. The next day after the Mega and a more sedate less demanding affair. Just a couple of caches here and there, and a lunch-time even to maintain some level of sociability! A few work tasks to take care of and another warm day, what's not to like? Thanks so much to all COs for their efforts in placing and maintaining their caches.
Leap Year only rolls around every four years. Four years to wait for things to happen that you should have planned before the day is past and gone for another four years. So today is the day and here it is. I do like it when a planned plan achieves its target. Roll on 2028.I will apologize right now, because everything from here on is here solely for the purpose of padding the word count and winning that one hundred word diamond badge again. Somebody moved the goal posts. So many caches to find. So many caches to log. We find them, sign them and replace them. This particular geocache was found using one of the following GPS enabled devices, Garmin GPSr, Montana 680t, Oregon 650 or Dakota 20 and an Apple iPhone 11 using the marvelous Cachly app. Waypoints and paperless geocaching were downloaded via GSAK 9. Log prepared, checked and submitted using GSAK publish logs macro.Warning, this hobby can be addictive. It can lead to exercise, meeting new people and finding interesting places you might not have known existed otherwise. Beware: you may have fun. Apologies for the generic part of the cache log. We do apologise for the generic logs. Thanks to all the cache owner for placing this cache here for our enjoyment. Thanks for the cache. Merci la cache. Danke fr den Cache. Gracias por el cach. TFTC! Quick find on a lovely afternoon after finding a few other caches in the area.
Something special or unusual goes here:Another one found in the usual spot. The Generic Bit:Another Tuesday trek around for myself, S.A. Sewer Rats and Ttrogg [^] We headed down the Port area again to grab some solved puzzles and any other caches we came across. Another fun day with only one DNF And that was on a previous DNF. Good grief, why do I do that to myself! ][B)][B)]**SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. - BOING*****Thanks GeocachingSA for putting out this cache and maintaining it for our enjoyment. *** Logs prepared and published through GSAK.
Back in my local hood for an appointment so collected a few of this new series. Nice quick find TFTC
Off on another fun day caching the 'burbs and beyond with Mr Froghoppin. So a weekend at Bernie's could have been a road trip in an XJ220... nice Fun fact - one of the cars this cat learned to drive in was a Jag Mk1. Thanks GeocachingSA for the cache hide and ongoing care and maintenance ---------------- ----------------------Caching country and city... wherever we go... In a dangerous world filled with rusty old mint tins and solid lumps falling from trees - - - a cache a day keeps us agile... sort of --------Caches are logged using the resources of gsak, garmin, and androids, occasionally AI too! (And a little rubber stamp ) Work gets in the way - and some may take longer to log than others due to mixed technology and need for sleep! The skill and talent of some Zenior Zombies helps, and maybe a spot of luck too [:o)]----------Think Covid's over ? Well no, actually... and we don't want your flu, gastro or cold germs either - so practise safe caching please! Ensure Travel Bugs are the Only bugs you share and pass on Clean as you go and cache the countryside Big thanks to those placing quality caches out and about around our country areas, in nice safe places and containers especially! - it keeps our game fun for all Of course we do appreciate if you actually did read all this extra addition to the log word count! There's a challenge somewhere out there, or so we've been told! You win a virtual smiley for the effort and getting to the end of the log Maybe if I worked out where it is I could do it and go back to normal logs again ! If you find the challenge let me know and perhaps we can put an end to these long logs !!! [:o)]C'est fini... For now... ... until next time! PS:---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------GCA1DNA - Great Leap Forward ... or is it backward... it takes an extra day to get to March 29.2.24 The Mega Event of the year. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------And don't forget to put the June Long Weekend in your diary for 2024 too... it'll be fun and funky
It was time for another tuesday adventure with the cat, today we were heading to the port for our playground and surrounds, amother quick find and done in less than 60 secondsTFTC GeocachingSA
A fun afternoon on the peninsula. The three of us had some laughs as we cached the various cache hides. We got on our knees, contemplated our navels and even grabbed the pole for some high up challenges. All fun stuff. Thanks to GeocachingSA and **clear skies** from TeamAstro. [^] Cache the planet! Found during an afternoon of caching targeting the western suburbs and along the Lefevre Peninsula, that included a range of quick drive-by grabs, a series of multis involving a pleasant walk alongside the dunes and a number of puzzle caches with a sprinkling of pole retrievals. Thanks for the cache Memphis and Friends!
Yet another very pleasant day weather wise so time to get the legs & body moving out on the bike after work and encompass a bit of caching too A quick find here tonight, log stamped and all returned as found.all while clocking up a few km on the bike TFTC
This was a good find in the series, like the rest a nice and easy find was had here and cache is all good.Today with an event and CITO around Port Adelaide area I decided to head out and find a whole heap of new caches published over the last few months around the area, mainly focusing on the gone in 60 seconds series. Thanks for the cache
A quick physical cache after a nearby CITO and event. This series is awesome; there is almost always one nearby when you need one. This one was an easy find, and a cache in good condition, just like all the others in the series. Thanks once again Memphis and Friends.
After attending a close by CITO I thought Id cache for another car or is it a bus? Beep! Beep!
This week it was Thursday Trekking with the Rat. The targeted area was the Lefevre Peninsula and south to Glenelg for the many that have cropped up since our last visit there. All were physical caches, mainly traditionals, but with a few puzzles and a couple of multis thrown in for the variety, and the fact that they were there. This was one of them. Thanks to Memphis and Friends for adding to this nice series with this cache.Cache #14048 for me.This log composed and published using GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife).****SAs Leap Year Event GCA1DNA - keep the date free - 29th February 2024. Cant wait!!****
The Tuesday Trekking turned into Thursday Run around. The Rat and ttrogg went a caching on a sunny Thursday. We started at Outer Harbor and went towards Glandore. We had a fun filled day and many laughs.Another quick find and stamp, in this series. Tftc
This was a quick find once we looked in the obvious place and not in the place where our gps took us. We also searched, sat and signed as a previous logger wrote.
After hanging with a friend for breakfast we made a detour to grab this cache. The cache was quickly located in the obvious spot and the log was signed. All is well here. Thanks GeocachingSA for this traditional cache, which brings Goldy's total find count to 3593 on the 21st of September 2023.CITO's are a brilliant way to help keep our community area's clean. The Earth is our playing field and we need to protect it! Always be sure to cache the "leave no trace" way!**South Australia is the place be for GCA1DNA - February 29th, 2024 in Adelaide! Hope to see you at The Great Leap Forward!**
Had the opportunity today to sit, find & sign. Thanks for putting out the caches. It makes my day. Tftc
Clocking up cache finds for the September Wheel of Challenges, whilst working toward other challenge goals and milestones!

Thanks for the cache and puzzle Memphis and Friends. I was out tonight performing some maintenance. I expected to replace missing caches, but they were all there, so enjoyed a few finds along the way. Found tonight under the cover of darkness, easy peasy when no one is around. Find #8903 at 7.35pm
First day of spring and a first to find.
Not only that, it was too close to home not to rise from my bed and try.
Found and signed.
